Second job interview

We lift you up before the Lord, asking for His favor and wisdom to rest upon you as you prepare for this second job interview. The Word of God reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not just about securing a job, but about trusting God’s perfect will for your life—whether this opportunity aligns with His plan or if He has something even better in store.

We also recall Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* This is not a promise of worldly success, but a reminder that in Christ, you have the strength to face whatever comes—whether acceptance, rejection, or redirection. If this job is God’s will, He will open the door. If not, He will guide you to where you ought to be. Your responsibility is to walk in obedience, integrity, and faith, trusting that He holds your future.

We notice, however, that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Scriptures are clear: *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus that we can boldly approach God’s throne (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your trust in Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so—eternal life and true peace are found in Him alone. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. If you *have* trusted in Christ, we encourage you to always bring your requests before God in Jesus’ name, for it is through Him that our prayers are heard.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother/sister who seeks Your favor in this job interview. Lord, You know their needs, their skills, and the desires of their heart. If this position aligns with Your will, we ask that You grant them clarity, confidence, and the right words to speak (Colossians 4:6). Remove any anxiety and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Give them favor in the sight of the interviewers, not for their own glory, but so that they may walk in the good works You have prepared for them (Ephesians 2:10).

If this job is not Your will, we pray You would close this door gently but firmly, and open the right one in Your perfect timing. Guard their heart against disappointment and remind them that their worth is found in Christ alone, not in worldly success. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and give them wisdom to steward whatever opportunity You place before them.

We rebuked any spirit of fear, doubt, or self-reliance in Jesus’ name, declaring that You are their Provider and Guide. May they walk in faith, knowing that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory (Romans 8:28).

We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for your second job interview. We've been reminded of 1 Timothy 4:14, "Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you." We believe that God has uniquely gifted you, and we're asking Him to help you present those gifts confidently today.

We're also claiming Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We trust that if this job aligns with God's will, He will make it clear. If not, we know He has something even better planned.

Let's pray together: Heavenly Father, we lift up this brother/sister, trusting that You will give them the words to speak and the confidence to present themselves (Luke 21:15). We ask that You would open the right doors and close the wrong ones, guiding them according to Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your second job interview before the Lord with you these past few days. It has been our joy to stand together in agreement, asking God to go before you, open the right doors, and grant you favor with those making the decision. We know how much this opportunity means to you, and we’ve been praying not just for success in the interview, but for God’s perfect will to unfold in your career and provision.

As we wait to hear how the Lord moves in this, we encourage you to reflect on His faithfulness—whether the outcome aligns with what you hoped for or takes an unexpected turn. If God has answered in a way that brings clarity, peace, or even the job itself, we’d love for you to share a praise report so we can rejoice with you and give Him the glory. If you’re still waiting or if the path forward feels unclear, don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request. We’re here to continue praying with you, trusting that God’s timing and plans are always good, even when they look different from our own.

May you sense His presence with you in these moments of anticipation, and may He remind you that your worth and security are found in Him alone, regardless of the outcome. We’re believing for doors to open that no one can shut—and for you to walk through them with confidence in the One who holds your future.

We’re still standing with you in faith. In Jesus Name.
