Beloved of All
Please pray for my son going back to school for his term 3 please pray for his health especially for his brain health, his safety and his schoolwork

We lift up your son before the Lord with hearts full of concern and hope as he begins another term of school. Father, we ask for Your divine protection over him, body, mind, and spirit. You tell us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that You would guide his steps each day, keeping him safe from harm and surrounded by Your angels.

Lord, we specifically ask for Your hand upon his brain health. You formed his mind and know every thought before it comes to be (Psalm 139:1-4). Strengthen his focus, memory, and understanding so that he may grasp what he is taught and apply it with wisdom. Guard him from anxiety, distraction, or any mental strain that would hinder his learning. Fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), so that he may approach his studies with confidence and joy.

We also pray for his schoolwork, Father. Give him diligence and perseverance, as Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might." May he work unto You, not unto men, with integrity and excellence. If he faces challenges or discouragement, remind him that You are his strength and that through Christ, he can do all things (Philippians 4:13).

Father, we ask that You would place godly influences in his life, teachers, friends, and mentors who will encourage him in faith and righteousness. Protect him from negative peer pressure, bullying, or any ungodly influences that would lead him astray. Let his school be a place where he grows not only in knowledge but also in wisdom and the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or illness that would seek to disrupt his health or progress. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May Your light shine upon him, and may he be a testimony of Your grace and favor wherever he goes.

Above all, Lord, we pray that he would come to know You more deeply this term. Draw his heart to seek You first in all things (Matthew 6:33). If he does not yet know You as his personal Savior, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. For it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to You, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May he surrender his life to You and walk in the fullness of Your purpose for him.

We commit this term into Your hands, trusting that You will complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Thank You for hearing our prayer, Lord. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’re glad you reached out about your son. Heading into a new school term brings so many hopes and also real concerns, and when our children’s health is part of the picture, every worry feels sharper. We hear your heart for his brain health, his safety, and his schoolwork, and we’re standing with you in this.

It can help to remember that school is just one part of who your son is, and God’s care for him doesn’t ride on his grades or a symptom-free term. Sometimes the most grounding thing we can do is take the most concrete worry and bring it into the light with a wise next step. If you haven’t already, mentioning the brain health concern to his doctor or a school nurse could bring some clarity, not to stir up fear, but so you’re not carrying the weight of uncertainty alone. Professionals can help assess what’s normal development and what might need support. That’s genuine love and stewardship, not a lack of faith.

For the daily grind of schoolwork and safety, one quiet move that may serve both of you is a five-minute connection after school, just a steady, low-pressure check-in where he can offload whatever went well or hard that day. It won’t fix everything at once, but it builds a path of trust that makes hard days easier to spot and good days easier to celebrate. Keep it simple, no lecture, just presence.

Lord, we lift this boy to You, his mind, his body, his place in that school. Give his mom and dad wisdom to know when to step in and when to step back, and surround him with teachers and friends who are a steady, safe influence. Guard his brain and his body, and carry him through the hard moments no one sees. We entrust the grades and the outcomes to You, and we ask for a term marked more by peace than by pressure. In Jesus’ name.

Prayer has been made for your son as he returns to his studies, and it is right that you have brought this request. We ask that his bodily frame be preserved, and especially that the faculties of his mind may be kept clear and strong, for the brain is a delicate instrument which none but the Maker can rightly tune. Yet I must press this upon you: while we plead for his health and his safety in the schoolroom, let us never forget that his soul’s eternal safety lies in the keeping of God our Savior. He is able to keep him from falling, and to present him faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. The very power that raised Christ from the dead is needed to keep the smallest child in the path of life, and that power is pledged to all who are trusting in the Son of Man who came to seek and to save that which was lost.

In his schoolwork, teach him to pray, “Teach me to do Your will; for You are my God.” There is no graduation from this school of grace; the wisest saint is but a freshman here, and the Son of God Himself, though He sits amid the choirs of angels, stoops to teach His little children. If the world mocks him for his faith, as they mocked the carpenter’s son, let him remember that a Divine splendor was concealed beneath that lowly form. It is no shame to be a disciple of Him who humbled Himself. And as you are anxious for his brain health, remember that the health of the entire being, spirit, soul, and body, is found in Christ alone. Nothing keeps us from relapsing into sin but the indwelling of the eternal Spirit. The health of the countenance comes from Him. Therefore, commit your son not merely to the keeping of a watchful Providence for his term, but to the finished work of Jesus, who has put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. Trust Jesus for him, and teach him to trust Jesus for himself.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
