We hear your concern about this final class standing between you and your degree. While we understand the desire for kindness and fairness from your professor, we must first lift this situation before the Lord with wisdom and discernment.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, acknowledging that all wisdom and understanding come from You. We ask that You grant this student the discipline, focus, and perseverance needed to complete their studies with excellence. Give them clarity in their work and the ability to meet the expectations set before them. We also pray for their professor—that You would grant him wisdom, fairness, and a heart that seeks truth in his grading. May he uphold standards with integrity while also showing grace where it is due.
Lord, we ask that You would remove any anxiety or fear from this student’s heart. Remind them that their worth is not defined by a grade or a degree but by their identity in Christ. If there is any area where they need to grow in diligence or humility, reveal it to them and give them the strength to press forward.
We must also gently remind you that while we can pray for favor, we cannot ask God to override a system of accountability that may be in place for your growth. If this professor is a tough grader, it may be an opportunity for you to rise to the challenge rather than seek an easy pass. Proverbs 12:24 says, *"The hands of the diligent ones shall rule, but laziness ends in slave labor."* Have you done all you can to prepare? Are you submitting your best work? If not, now is the time to seek help, study more, and trust that God will honor your effort.
If, however, you have been diligent and this professor is being unfair or unreasonable, we pray that God would intervene. But we must also trust that even in difficulty, God is working for your good (Romans 8:28). Your degree is important, but your character is even more so.
We encourage you to keep pressing forward, seeking God’s strength each step of the way. If you have not yet surrendered this situation to Him, do so now. Philippians 4:6-7 says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
May the Lord give you peace and perseverance as you finish this race. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God’s will be done in this situation. If you have not placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today—He alone is the source of true peace and wisdom.
