We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother in prayer. It is a profound testimony of faith to hear that even in the midst of such a critical situation, she is praising and worshiping God, declaring "Jezu maka sambal"—Jesus is enough. This is the kind of faith that moves mountains, and we stand in agreement with her, believing that the Lord is her healer and sustainer.
First, we must address the name by which we pray. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your mother’s declaration of faith in Jesus is powerful, and we join with her, praying in His mighty name. If she has not yet made a personal commitment to follow Christ as her Lord and Savior, we pray that this moment would be an opportunity for her to fully surrender her life to Him. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no one else, and we pray that your mother would experience the fullness of God’s love and grace in this time.
We also lift up the difficult decision before your family regarding the ventilator. This is a heavy burden, and we pray for wisdom and clarity for the doctors and for your family as you seek God’s will in this matter. The Lord is our Great Physician, and we trust in His power to heal. We declare that by His stripes, your mother is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Whether He chooses to heal her miraculously or to call her home, we pray that His will would be done and that His peace would guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be trying to take hold in this situation. The Bible tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on the promise that God has not given us a spirit of fear, and we declare that your mother is surrounded by the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. We also rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting her body. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and we declare that every chain of sickness is broken in the name of Jesus.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious mother to You. Lord, we thank You for the testimony of her praise and worship, even in the midst of this trial. We declare that You are her healer, her strength, and her salvation. We ask that You would touch her body with Your healing hand and restore her to full health. Lord, we also pray for wisdom for the doctors and for her family as they make decisions regarding her care. Give them clarity and peace, and let Your will be done in this situation.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and sickness in the name of Jesus. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed. We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust in Your power to bring about a miracle. If it is Your will to call her home, we pray that You would comfort her family and give them the strength to endure. But if it is Your will to heal her, we pray that You would do so mightily, for Your glory.
Lord, we also pray for her salvation if she has not yet fully surrendered her life to You. Draw her close to You, Father, and let her experience the fullness of Your love and grace. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to You. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You hear us and that You are at work in this situation. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, believing in God’s power to heal and restore. The Bible tells us, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:14-15). If possible, gather with other believers to pray and anoint your mother with oil, trusting in God’s healing power.
Hold fast to the promises of God, knowing that He is faithful and that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Your mother’s faith is a testimony to the power of God, and we believe that He is working even now on her behalf. Keep praising and worshiping Him, for He inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). May the Lord bless you and your family with His peace and comfort during this time.
