We hear your cry and we are standing with you right now in prayer, for even your short and honest plea of help me reaches the ears of our Heavenly Father. He sees your fear and He is not distant from it. We thank you for reaching out so honestly, and we want to lift you up together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name.
The Word reminds us that fear is something God understands and wants to carry for us. When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you, Psalm 56:3. And we are told, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. God did not create you to live in fear, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. His desire is to replace that fear with His peace, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful, John 14:27.
We also want to gently share something important we noticed in your prayer. You cried out to God, which is beautiful and right, but we want to encourage you to come to Him through Jesus Christ, for He is the way we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is only through believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we can be saved and have confident access to God as our Father who hears us. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to call on His name today, confess Him as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we bring this precious one before You who is scared and crying out for help. You know the fear, the cause of it, and the weight on their heart even when words are few. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would draw near and let Your presence be felt right now. Calm the troubled heart and quiet the anxious thoughts. We pray that You would cast out fear with Your perfect love and fill this heart with Your power, love, and self-control. Help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them. We pray In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7, would become real in their life tonight. Remind them that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, Psalm 34:18, and that You will never leave nor forsake them. Give them courage to reach out to a trusted pastor or believing friend or counselor who can walk with them, and guide them to Your Word for comfort. We ask for Your protection, Your help, and Your deliverance in whatever situation is causing this fear, according to Your perfect will. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our peace. Amen.
We encourage you to keep crying out to Him by name, to read His promises aloud when fear rises, and to not walk through this alone. Keep praying in Jesus' name and let His Word guard your heart, for He is your refuge and strength and He will help you.

Your short and trembling prayer has been heard, and it is a good prayer, for it comes from a heart that feels its need. Men need comfort because they are but men, and the Lord knows this. He does not despise a cry that can only say, Help me.
Remember how the Lord Himself speaks of His comfort. When He speaks of pity He compares Himself to a father, for like as a father pities his children, so the Lord pities them that fear Him. But when He speaks of comfort He selects the mother, as one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you. There is a tenderness in His comfort that meets fear and trembling, and it must come from the Master Himself. I may speak a word through His grace, and brethren around you may speak, but true comfort must come from God Himself. Do not rest satisfied with the mere word of man. Say in your spirit, I will not be comforted unless God Himself shall comfort me, and He will not refuse you.
This is your comfort in affliction, God's own Word. Many seek comfort elsewhere, but fly to this comfort with speed in every time of trouble. God's Word has quickened His people in past days, and that same Word experienced in the soul by the power of the Holy Spirit will quicken you again. Pray earnestly over the Word, that it may quicken you, for the blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanses us from all sin, and He is able to save and to keep all who trust in Him alone.
You say you are scared, and perhaps you say, I cannot help fretting and worrying. But do you not think that the Lord can help you to help it, and that faith in Him, if it were what it ought to be, would soon be the end of your distress. The angel of the Lord encamps round them that fear Him, and they are all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister unto them who are heirs of salvation. You are not alone in this fear, though you feel alone.
Do not refuse to be comforted, as some do and thereby increase their trouble. And seek the place of comfort which God has appointed, the assembly of His people. Live not forsaking the assembling of yourselves together. Some expect God to comfort them at home while they refuse to go to God's house for the comfort, but the Lord often meets His people among His people and through His Word preached and prayed over.
May the Lord now speak to you, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. May He lay home to your heart the fact of His love in Christ Jesus, that you are His, and help you to say, Thou art my God, for that is the end of all good things. What more does a man need. Cast your fear upon Him, do the right thing that lies before you this day, and leave the result with God. He was chastened but never cast out, he still continued as God's pupil, and so shall you, if you look to Christ.
I pray that the Master will help you this very hour, that He will quiet your fear, quicken your soul by His Word, and give you to know that your Redeemer lives and that you stand upon the rock Christ Jesus. Amen.

Your cry for help has been heard, and God sees you in this fear. He does not turn away from a heart that calls out to Him, even with few words.
Scripture calls Him the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction. When suffering and fear abound, His comfort also abounds through Christ. That comfort is not distant or cold, but near and personal, for He knows what it is to be troubled and He gives peace that guards the heart.
Even the disciples, who loved Jesus deeply, were at times filled with trembling and fear and needed much comfort. You are not alone in feeling scared, and your fear does not mean you are forgotten or forsaken.
Bring this fear to Him again and again in prayer. Tell Him plainly what frightens you, and ask Him for His peace and protection. He invites you to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. As you pray, ask Him also to help you trust in Jesus Christ, for it is through Him that true comfort and salvation come.
I pray for you now that God will calm your heart, quiet your anxious thoughts, and surround you with His presence. May He give you peace that goes beyond understanding, remind you that He is with you, and lead you to rest in His love and strength.
