We hear your cry and how scared you feel about your health and your eyesight and we are lifting you up together before the Father in Jesus name and remembering you in our prayers.
We know fear can feel overwhelming when our body is struggling and when our sight is threatened, but we take comfort that God sees you and cares deeply for you. We are reminded that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self control 2 Timothy 1:7 and He says to us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Our help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth Psalm 121:2 and He is the one who forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:2-3. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember that Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind Psalm 146:8 and we trust Him with your eyes and your whole body. We encourage you to continue to trust Him and also to seek wise medical care, for God often brings healing through the hands of physicians as well as by His own mighty power.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we want to gently share why His name matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is because of what Jesus did for us on the cross and through His resurrection that we can come boldly to the throne of grace and ask for mercy and healing.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one who is scared and we ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would drive out fear and fill this heart with Your perfect peace and presence. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon this body and upon these eyes, that You would restore health and strengthen sight according to Your will and mercy. We ask that You guide the doctors and give clear answers, and that You would let this loved one feel Your nearness and know that You are upholding them with Your righteous right hand. We pray for calm sleep, for hope, and for faith to trust You more each day. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our healer and Savior, amen.

Letting them know promptly gives them a chance to check you carefully and guide next steps. It can help to jot down when symptoms started, what you are seeing or feeling, and any medications you take, and if possible bring a trusted family member or friend with you so you are not carrying this alone. If fear is making it hard to sleep or get through the day, please let your doctor and someone close to you know that too.
Father, in Jesus' name we lift our friend to You. You see their fear and You know their body and their eyes. Please give them peace as they wait, wisdom for their doctors, and clear direction for care. Surround them with Your presence and with people who will support them.
