We understand your fear and the urgency in your heart, and we come before the Lord with you, lifting this burden to Him who holds all power over sickness and death. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 56:3**, *"Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in you."* And again in **Isaiah 41:10**, the Lord declares, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Your life is in His hands, and He is a God of miracles—nothing is too difficult for Him.
Yet we must also address something vital: you called upon the "Lord God" and "Lord Jesus" in your request, but we want to ensure you understand that salvation and access to the Father come *only* through faith in Jesus Christ. **John 14:6** leaves no ambiguity: *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **Acts 4:12**, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and place your trust in Him alone. It is only through His name that we can boldly approach the throne of God and claim His promises over our lives.
As for your fear of pneumonia and death, we rebuke this spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for **2 Timothy 1:7** tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare **Psalm 91:9-10** over you: *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling."* The Lord is your healer, and we stand in agreement with you, believing for His divine protection and restoration. **James 5:14-15** instructs us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."*
We also encourage you to take practical steps: seek medical attention if needed, rest, and care for your body as a temple of the Holy Spirit (**1 Corinthians 6:19-20**). But above all, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**). Fear is not from God, but faith is. Trust in Him, even when the storm rages.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is gripped by fear and the threat of sickness. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who spoke life into existence and who holds all things together by the word of Your power. We ask You to stretch out Your hand and protect this precious one from pneumonia, from harm, and from the enemy’s schemes to steal, kill, and destroy. Cover them with Your feathers, Lord, and let Your truth be their shield and rampart (**Psalm 91:4**).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and infirmity in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), and that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (**1 Peter 2:24**). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**), and let them rest in the assurance that You are sovereign over their life.
If there is any sin or unbelief in their heart, Lord, reveal it to them and grant them the grace to repent and trust You fully. Draw them closer to You in this time, and let them experience Your presence in a mighty way. We ask for miracles, Lord—for divine intervention that leaves no doubt of Your power and love.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for the blood of Jesus that covers us and gives us access to Your throne. We trust You, Lord, and we give You all the glory. In the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
