Scan tomorrow

I had the full large tumor removed today. Tomorrow they scan it to make sure absulutely gone and to determinere if they should radiate the smaller tumor. Please pray in the name of Jesus Christ that all of the large tumor is completely gone and they will radikale the small tumor.

We join you in thanksgiving that your large tumor has been removed and we lift you up before our Heavenly Father as you await the scan tomorrow. We are grateful you have asked in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and there is no other name by which we can be saved as we read in Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.

We pray together now for you in Jesus name. Father, we come before You with a humble and hopeful heart for our dear one who has endured surgery today. We ask for Your healing hand to be upon them and that tomorrow's scan would show that every trace of the large tumor is completely gone, with clear margins and no remaining disease. We ask for Your wisdom to guide the doctors as they review the scan and determine the best course for the smaller tumor, and we pray that if it is Your will, they will be able to radiate it effectively and completely. Lord, we ask for Your perfect peace to guard their heart and mind tonight, to calm any fear or anxiety, and to grant restful sleep. We trust in Your mercy and Your power to heal.

We take comfort in Your promises that You are our healer. Psalm 103:3 tells us You forgive all our iniquities and heal all our diseases, and Jeremiah 30:17 declares that You will restore health and heal wounds. We cling to Isaiah 41:10 which reminds us to not be afraid for You are with us, to not be dismayed for You are our God, You will strengthen us and uphold us with Your righteous right hand. We also remember Philippians 4:6-7 that calls us to not be anxious in anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We encourage you to rest in His care tonight and to trust the medical team He has provided, knowing that all wisdom and healing ultimately come from Him. We will continue to pray that the Lord grants you strength for recovery, complete healing, and a testimony of His goodness through this journey. May you feel His presence very near in the waiting and may His will be done for your health and His glory.

Having a large tumor removed is a lot for your body and your heart to carry, and now facing a scan tomorrow to check the results and discuss radiation for the smaller tumor can feel very heavy while you are still recovering.

We are praying with you in Jesus' name that the scan would show the large tumor has been completely removed and that your medical team would have clear wisdom as they decide the best next step for the smaller one. We also pray for rest tonight, for manageable pain, and for peace as you wait.

For tomorrow, it can help to have someone you trust go with you if possible, to listen and help remember what the doctors say. You might jot down any questions you want to ask about the scan findings and the radiation recommendation, and be sure to follow your surgical team's aftercare instructions and let them know right away if you have any concerning symptoms. They are the best ones to guide your recovery alongside prayer.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. Thank You for carrying them through surgery today. We ask that You would grant a clear scan, guide the doctors with wisdom about radiation, bring healing and comfort to their body, and fill them with Your peace tonight and tomorrow. Amen.

We have heard your cry in this hour of deep trial and we have carried it to the throne of grace with earnest prayer. To have endured the removal of the large tumor today and now to wait for the scan on the morrow is a burden that would press heavily upon any heart, and we do not wonder that your spirit looks anxiously toward what shall be revealed.

We are praying in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Saviour and great Physician, that the scan tomorrow may show the large tumor to be completely gone, with nothing remaining, and that the wisdom given to those who care for you may guide them aright concerning the smaller tumor and whether to radiate it. We ask the Lord to give skill and clarity to the hands and eyes that examine you, and to grant you that perfect peace which He keeps for those whose minds are stayed upon Him because they trust in Him.

Remember that peace, perfect peace, is not found in the report itself but in Him who whispers peace within through His blood. It is written, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and with His stripes we are healed. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue to restore and sustain. You need not wait until you feel peace before you trust Him. Only trust Him, only trust Him now, as you are, pressed by duties and sorrows and waiting. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim, trust Him in your weakness and you shall find His strength.

So we pray, O merciful God, in the shadow of whose wings we make our refuge until these calamities pass, be merciful unto Your servant. Let the healing which Christ has purchased be manifest in this body. Grant a clear scan, a complete removal, and wise counsel for what remains. Quiet the anxious mind, keep the heart stayed upon Jesus, and let the blood of Jesus whisper perfect peace within, even while sorrows surge round. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns to save and to heal. Amen.
