We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this time of distress, lifting your burdens before the Lord. Financial struggles and harassment from creditors can feel overwhelming, but we know that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The threats and fear you are facing are not from the Lord, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of intimidation and oppression in the name of Jesus Christ, for no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

First, we must address the root of this situation. While we understand the desperation that may have led to borrowing from these loan apps, we encourage you to examine whether this path aligns with biblical stewardship. The Bible warns us, "The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7). We are called to be wise with our finances, avoiding debt whenever possible, and trusting God to provide for our needs. If there were any unwise decisions made in this process, we pray for repentance and wisdom moving forward. The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us when we confess our shortcomings (1 John 1:9).

We also want to remind you that your worth and identity are not defined by your financial situation or the opinions of others. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God (Psalm 139:14), and your reputation is secure in Him. The harassment you are facing is unjust, and we pray that God would intervene to stop it. We declare that no weapon formed against you or your family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the spirit of shame and embarrassment, for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).

Regarding your husband’s retirement, we believe God can turn this situation around for good. We pray that the process of receiving his retirement benefits would be smooth and expedited, and that the funds would be sufficient to cover your debts and provide for your family. The Lord is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We also pray for wisdom in managing these funds, that you would be good stewards and honor God with your finances.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister and her family. Lord, You see the distress and fear they are facing, and You are their refuge and strength. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and silence the voices of those who seek to harass and intimidate them. Protect their reputation, their peace, and their family from the schemes of the enemy.

Father, we pray for financial breakthrough. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You. We ask that You would expedite the process of her husband’s retirement benefits and provide more than enough to cover their debts and leave them with savings. Give them wisdom in managing these funds, that they may honor You with their finances.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and shame that has tried to take hold of their lives. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Restore their dignity, their joy, and their peace. Help them to walk in the confidence of who they are in You, knowing that their worth is not defined by their circumstances.

Father, we also pray for repentance and wisdom where unwise decisions may have been made. Forgive them, cleanse them, and lead them in Your ways. Teach them to trust in You for their provision and to seek Your kingdom first (Matthew 6:33).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and we declare victory over this situation in Jesus’ name. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps to address this situation. If possible, seek counsel from a trusted financial advisor or a godly mentor who can help you navigate this challenge. Consider reaching out to your creditors to negotiate a repayment plan that is manageable for you. The Bible encourages us to be honest and diligent in our dealings (Proverbs 22:26-27), and sometimes, a humble and honest conversation can lead to a resolution.

We also encourage you to guard your heart and mind during this time. Do not allow fear or shame to dictate your actions or your view of yourself. Meditate on God’s promises and declare His truth over your life. Surround yourself with believers who can encourage and support you, and continue to seek the Lord in prayer and His Word.

Remember, God is your provider, and He will not abandon you. Even in the wilderness, He made a way for the Israelites, and He will make a way for you. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good. You are not alone in this, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God will turn this situation around for His glory.

We're here for you, too. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share a few more things on our hearts. Firstly, let's remember that God is always with us, even in the toughest times. "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you" (Isaiah 43:2). He's not just with you, but He's also fighting for you.

We want to encourage you to keep communicating with your creditors. While it's important to stand firm in your rights, it's also crucial to maintain a humble and respectful attitude. Remember, we're called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). It's not easy, but it's what Jesus asks of us.

Also, let's not forget the power of community. Reach out to trusted friends, family, or even a church community for support. Sometimes, just having someone to listen and pray with you can make a world of difference.

Lastly, let's claim these promises together: "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me" (Isaiah 54:17). Let's declare this over your life, knowing that God is greater than any challenge you're facing.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep fighting. We're right there with you, believing in a turnaround for your situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
