Save them all

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please Jesus so tired of their lies and hatred against a child of God, this woman ### at the dental office accused me of breaking the temp aesthetic when I told her it doesn’t look or fit right she or the devil in her had the nerve to blame me for it, when they evilishly did it themselves to be retaliating and evil and just please pray with me that the implant crown comes back right this time and tint after a year of this subpar work treatment and behavior we’ve had enough Jesus please save and convict them all, amen

We hear your weariness and your cry for justice, and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name. It is painful to be falsely accused and treated harshly, especially when you have endured a year of subpar work and now face this conflict over the temporary aesthetic and the coming implant crown. We understand how exhausting it is to feel lied about and opposed when you are simply asking for what is right and for work that fits and looks as it should.

We stand with you in praying for your heart first, that the Lord would guard you from bitterness and give you His peace, and we also stand with you in praying for those at that office, that God would convict and save them. You are right to recognize that our struggle is not ultimately against flesh and blood, as Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. That woman and the others there are not our enemies, they are souls for whom Christ died, held captive by sin and needing the same grace we need.

Jesus calls us to a higher way, even when we are wronged. He says in Matthew 5:44, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. And Romans 12:19 tells us, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. We do not need to retaliate or carry hatred in return, for the Lord sees all, He knows the truth about what happened to the temporary, and He is your defender. Romans 12:21 says, Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

We also take comfort that the Lord is near to you in this trying time. Psalm 34:18 says, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And 1 Peter 5:7 encourages us to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We lift up Your child to You, who is tired and wounded by lies and unkind treatment. Lord, comfort this heart, calm the frustration and hurt, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind. You see what happened in that office, You know the truth about the temporary aesthetic, and You know the year of difficult treatment that has been endured. We ask You to be our vindicator and our healer.

Lord, we ask that the implant crown would come back right this time, with the proper fit and the right tint and shade, that the work would finally be done with excellence and care. Guide the hands and eyes of the lab and the providers, and grant favor and clear communication so that this long trial can be resolved. We pray for restoration, for You have said in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.

And Father, we obey Your command to pray for those who have mistreated us. We pray for that woman and for everyone in that office who has acted with dishonesty or harshness. Save them, Lord. Convict them of sin and bring them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to Your truth, and let them know Your mercy. Let no evil take root there, but let Your love overcome.

Help Your child to walk in forgiveness and strength, to speak the truth in love with grace and firmness, and to trust You with the outcome. We thank You that You are working all things together for good for those who love You, as Romans 8:28 promises. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our access to You, amen.

We hear how tired you are after a year of this. Wanting a crown to simply fit and look right is not a small thing, and then being blamed when you said it didn't feel right would leave anyone feeling worn down and hurt. It makes sense you are asking Jesus to step in.

When we have been treated poorly over a long stretch, the sense that we were wronged can sit heavy. Sometimes we can make a decision to release the need to get even, even while the sore feelings like resentment and anger take longer to quiet. That does not mean what happened was okay, only that we are asking God to carry what we cannot keep carrying alone.

For your next visit it may help to bring a short written note with exactly what still needs correcting on the fit and tint, and ask the dentist directly to review it with you chairside. If you continue to feel dismissed, you could also ask to speak with the office manager or seek a second opinion from another provider for peace of mind, while we keep praying with you.

Father, we bring our brother and this long dental process to You. You see the frustration and the weariness. We ask for Your peace to guard his heart, for wisdom and care from the dental team, and that this crown would come back with the right fit and color. Work in every heart involved and draw each one closer to Yourself. Give rest and a clear next step forward. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard the weariness in your prayer and we join you before the mercy seat, where grace alone must be our plea. You are tired, and rightly so, after a year of subpar work and treatment, and now this fresh accusation concerning the temporary aesthetic. It is a painful thing to be blamed for what you did not do, and to feel that others have dealt with you in retaliation and unkindness.

The Lord knows how to meet every emergency calmly and quietly, even when enemies deal in rage or in recklessness. Such little oppositions as we meet with now, though they feel great to us, are permitted for our good, to make us feel that this is not our rest and to cause us to long for the better land, the land of liberty and joy where no injustice shall remain. God has often blessed His people through their persecutions, not because persecution is good in itself, but because He overrules it for good and uses it to draw us nearer to Himself.

You ask that we pray with you that the implant crown would come back right this time, with the tint correct, and that the Lord would save and convict those who have wronged you. We do pray so. We ask the Lord to give skill to the hands that prepare this work, that what has been long delayed may at last be done well, and that you may receive it with thankfulness as bread given and water made sure by His kind providence. We also pray as you have asked, for the salvation of those at the office, that the Lord would convict them of sin and bring them to know mercy. There is a name of God for pardoning iniquity, and depths of mercy still reserved even for those who seem far off. If they will have Christ's righteousness it is for them, for Christ's righteousness is for the guilty, for whom else should it be. We pray that He who loved and gave Himself would draw them to Himself, and that you also would be kept from bitterness.

Let your sense of the poverty of your prayers lead you to abhor your faults, but not to abhor praying. We must beg for grace and plead for mercy, for upon no other terms but those of grace can the Lord meet with us. There is enough of fault and folly and failure in our own lives without any accusation from others to witness against us, so let us come humbly, for the Holy Spirit never puffs us up with pride, but teaches us to pray in lowliness and in earnestness. Praying in the Holy Spirit is praying humbly and hoping fully, and multiplying prayers for others lest the mercy seat become a place for spiritual selfishness. Pray for that which God the Spirit moves you to pray for, and be sensitive to His influence.

And as you pray, look for the answer. It is ours, but our God sees fit to reserve it for a season for a further trial of our faith. You may say, I have the petition and am waiting till He puts it into my hand, it is up there, labeled for me and set aside in the treasury for me and I shall have it. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth you. His mercy endureth for ever, and He will not forsake the works of His own hands. That mercy cannot be tried longer than for ever, and even if it could be tried for ever it would endure for ever.

So we set a watch as well as pray. Go on with your work for God and pray to Him to set them right, and guard your own heart against personal adversaries of anger and resentment. Honor the mercy seat and do not treat it as a place for trifling, but come with business-like earnestness, asking plainly and waiting patiently.

We pray together now. O Lord, for Your name's sake, pardon iniquity where it is great, and show mercy to all who have sinned against You and against this Your child. Convict of sin and draw to Christ those who have done wrong, that they may be saved through Jesus Christ alone, in whom alone is salvation. Give peace to this weary heart, give favor and accuracy concerning this crown and its tint, and let the outcome be for good. Teach us to pray in the Holy Spirit, humbly and hopefully, and to wait for Your answer in Your perfect time. Keep us from pride and keep us near the cross, until You bring us to that better land. In the name of Jesus our Redeemer we ask it, Amen.
