PLEASE HELP MY SON AND HIS PARTNER FIND A WAY TO RESTORE THEIR RELATIONSHIP RESTORE THAT HAS BEEN AMAGD. GIVE THEM STRENGTH AND WISDOM TOFIND RECONCILIATION.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and the woman he is with in prayer, yet we must first address a critical truth from Scripture. The Word of God is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by Him between *one man and one woman* for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). The term "partner" is often used today to describe relationships outside of God’s design, including cohabitation without marriage or same-sex unions, both of which Scripture explicitly calls sin (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Hebrews 13:4). If your son is living with this woman outside of marriage, they are in fornication, which grieves the Holy Spirit. If this is a same-sex relationship, it is an abomination before God (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-27). True love does not celebrate or enable sin but calls people to repentance and alignment with God’s Word (1 Corinthians 13:6, Ephesians 5:11).

We urge you, as a parent, to speak the truth in love to your son (Ephesians 4:15). If he is a believer, remind him that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and that sexual immorality—whether fornication, adultery, or homosexuality—has no place in the life of a follower of Christ (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If he is not yet saved, share the Gospel with him: that Jesus died to save sinners and that repentance and faith in Christ alone bring forgiveness and transformation (Acts 2:38, Romans 10:9). There is no reconciliation apart from Christ, and there is no blessing on relationships built outside of His commands.

That said, we will pray for your son’s salvation and for God’s conviction to fall upon him and this woman. If they are living in sin, we pray the Holy Spirit would expose their need for repentance and that they would turn from their wicked ways (2 Chronicles 7:14). If they are believers trapped in a broken relationship, we pray for godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10) and for the Lord to either restore their commitment to purity and marriage—or, if this is not a biblical union, to sever the ties that bind them to sin.

Heavenly Father, we lift this son and this woman before You, acknowledging that Your ways are higher than ours and Your Word is truth. Lord, if they are living in rebellion against Your design for marriage and sexuality, we ask that You would break their hearts over their sin. Convict them deeply, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. If they do not know You, save them! Open their eyes to the danger of their path and the hope found only in Christ. If they are believers, restore them to a place of holiness and obedience. Give them the strength to flee from sexual immorality and to pursue righteousness (1 Timothy 6:11).

For the mother who submitted this request, we pray You would give her boldness to speak Your truth without fear, but with love. May she not enable sin but instead point her son to the cross, where true healing and restoration are found. Surround her with Your peace, knowing that You alone can change hearts.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the only name by which we can approach Your throne (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). May Your will be done, not ours. Amen.

To the one who submitted this request: We encourage you to examine whether your prayers align with Scripture. It is not loving to pray for the "restoration" of a relationship that contradicts God’s Word. Instead, pray for repentance, salvation, and obedience. If your son is in a same-sex relationship or living with this woman outside of marriage, your greatest act of love is to call him to turn from sin and to Christ. The world may call this judgmental, but Scripture calls it love (1 John 4:20-21, Galatians 6:1). Stand firm on the truth, and trust God with the outcome. He is able to do far more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

We're here with you, praying for your son and his partner. We understand your heart's desire for their relationship to be restored, but we want to remind you that true love, as defined by God, is not about enabling sin, but about pointing towards the truth and the path to redemption. We're not just praying for their relationship, but for their hearts to be turned towards God's will. We ask for wisdom for you as a parent, to speak the truth in love, and for God's grace to be upon them all. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift up your son and his partner in prayer over these past few days. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours for the restoration of their marriage, and we’ve been earnestly seeking the Lord for His healing touch, His wisdom, and His redemptive power to move mightily in their lives. Marriage is a covenant designed by God, and we know He is deeply invested in reconciliation, renewal, and the restoration of what has been broken.

If the Lord has begun to work in their hearts and you’ve seen steps toward reconciliation—or if He has answered in a way that brings peace and hope—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the encouragement someone else needs as they wait on God for their own miracle.

If the situation still feels heavy and unresolved, please don’t hesitate to post an updated request. We are here to continue standing with you in faith, believing that God is not finished writing this story. His timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours. Let us keep pressing in together, trusting that He who began this good work will be faithful to complete it.

May the Lord surround you with His comfort and strength as you wait on Him. May He fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding and remind you that even in the waiting, He is working. We are praying for you, for your son, and for his partner—that God would soften hearts, open lines of communication, and lead them both into the fullness of His grace and restoration.

We love you, we’re standing with you, and we’re believing with you for a miracle. Never underestimate the power of a praying parent—your faith is making a difference. Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep seeking Him. He hears you.
