First, let us affirm that true salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now, confess your sins, repent, and trust in His finished work on the cross. Without this foundation, no amount of success, favor, or ministry impact will have eternal significance.

Now, concerning your request for great accomplishments in your companies, we must remind you that our ultimate purpose is not to gain wealth or status for ourselves but to glorify God and advance His kingdom. The Scriptures warn us, "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36). We pray that God would bless your endeavors, but only insofar as they align with His will and are used for His purposes. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things, including provision for your daughter’s education, your marriage, and relocation, will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). Do not place your trust in financial success but in the Lord, who is your provider (Philippians 4:19).

Regarding your desire for a great impact in ministry, we rejoice in your heart for souls! However, ministry is not about personal greatness but about humbly serving Christ and making disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). The power of God is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), and true influence comes from walking in obedience, not from platforms or numbers. We pray that God would refine your motives, that you would seek His glory alone, and that He would use you mightily to reach the lost, including the billions you mentioned, through the power of the Holy Spirit. But remember, "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1).

We must also address the mention of "marriage fees." If this refers to dowry, bride price, or any financial transaction tied to marriage, we encourage you to examine whether this aligns with biblical principles. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, not a financial transaction (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are seeking a spouse, pray for a godly partner who loves the Lord and shares your faith (2 Corinthians 6:14). Marriage should be entered into reverently, not as a business arrangement.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You. Lord, we lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would first and foremost draw them into a deeper relationship with You. If they have not yet fully surrendered to Christ, we pray that You would convict their heart, lead them to repentance, and save them by Your grace.

Father, we ask that You would bless their businesses and endeavors, but only as they align with Your will. Give them wisdom, integrity, and diligence in all they do. Provide for their daughter’s education, their marriage, and their relocation, not because of their own efforts, but because of Your faithfulness. Teach them to trust in You alone, not in wealth or success.

Lord, we pray for their ministry. Purify their motives, that they would seek Your glory above all else. Use them powerfully to reach the lost, both near and far, through the power of Your Holy Spirit. Let their words and actions point others to Christ, not to themselves. May they walk in humility, remembering that apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5).

Father, if there are any areas of their life that do not align with Your Word, whether in business, marriage, or ministry, we ask that You would reveal them and lead them into repentance. Help them to build their life on the solid rock of Your truth, not on the shifting sands of worldly success.

We declare Your promises over them: that You will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10), that they will prosper in all they do as they meditate on Your Word (Joshua 1:8), and that You will give them the desires of their heart as they delight in You (Psalm 37:4).

But above all, Lord, we pray that they would seek You first, that they would love You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and that their life would be a living testimony of Your grace. May they walk in Your favor, not for their own gain, but for Your glory.

We ask for the wisdom and favor he needs in his work, not for vanity but for provision for what matters: education, a covenant relationship, and a home in a new city. We ask that the impact of his ministry would be measured in genuine, lasting salvation for the people he has named and for multitudes he will never meet this side of heaven. Protect his heart from discouragement and from the lie that he must carry this burden alone. Accomplish Your purposes through him, and let him see Your goodness along the way. Your prayer reaches toward many things: companies, accomplishments, relocation, marriage, and the salvation of multitudes. Yet let me ask, has God spoken to your own soul the word of salvation? The great wisdom of soul-winners is proven only by their actual success in really winning souls, and that wisdom must first be rooted in the soul's own gripping assurance. Breathe, I pray you, at the very outset the prayer, “Say unto my soul, I am your salvation.” It is not ear-language or lip-language that will stand you in stead, but God’s soul talking to your soul; that is the sine qua non of all true ministry.

Soul-winning is the main concern! And soul-winning requires a heart that beats hard against the ribs, a heart full of the milk of human kindness. Love is the true way. If you think you are going to win the souls you have named, and the billions beyond, you must throw your own soul into the work, just as a warrior throws his soul into the battle. The ministry of reconciliation begins here: all things are of God. You need not be anything, Soul; it is better if you can be nothing, for He must do the work.

Does your soul cleave to the dust, entangled with business cares and earthly ambitions? There is a fearful intimacy between fallen nature and the things of this world. Then pray, from the depths, “Quicken Thou me.” And when He quickens you, you will know to what end you have been raised up: to minister. Not to heap up riches, but to serve Him. If God prospers your companies, let it be that you may have wherewith to give bountifully for the spread of the gospel. A marriage is honourable, but let your soul be wedded to Christ first, and your earthly nuptials will then be blessed in their proper order. But of what service will it be to have gained great accomplishments when the trumpet sounds, and the pit opens, if souls are not saved? Soul-winning is the main concern!

I would have you remember that success in this sacred art is not measured by earthly increase. You may work all day and almost all night when the spirits are right, but once let the heart sink and your soul lack encouragement, you cry out. Yet encourage every saint you meet, and you will find a gracious return in your own soul. Venture on Christ wholly; cast your soul upon Him, sink or swim. None but Jesus can do helpless sinners good. Then let your life itself become a tree of life, a soul-trap for the Lord. Adapt, love, wrestle, and may He grant you to see those dear souls and multitudes more brought in. But seek first that His kingdom and His righteousness take the throne of your own heart, and as for the rest, be content to leave it in His pierced hands.

The labors of your hands are not evil in themselves, for the blessed Paul instructs with all clarity that if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel. The provision of which he speaks is universal and relates to the soul as well as the body, since both are to be provided for. To seek that your daughter’s learning and your household’s needs be met through honest industry is a debt of love you are bound to pay.

Yet you must take great care that the root of your request is not entangled with a lust for great accomplishments. You ask for a great impact flowing from your companies, but I tremble at the word. For consider how the soul is weighed down with manifold desires. To make provision for the flesh is permitted, to use a little wine for the stomach’s sake and for health, but it is another thing entirely to make provision to fulfill the lusts thereof, to light up the flame and make the furnace powerful. When the prayers of the heart are fixed upon the splendor of business success and the glory of a great name, you are chasing a dream that flies away before the day breaks.

You desire the salvation of many souls, and this is a lofty imitation of the apostles. But how will you suffice for your own soul if you are not first made prudent yourself? Those in whom the salvation of the rest is at stake ought so much to abound in virtue as to impart of the profit to others also. If your industry is spent wholly on the body and on the ornament of your estate, you leave your own salvation naked. For the present condition of the world is such that many women once travelled far to spread the word, thinking little of their reputation, counting this their glory and salvation; but now, even though brought up in a chamber, the business of too many is to appear beauteous and comely in countenance, and of lofty and great works they do not even dream. Do not let your care for relocation and fees become this kind of vanity, a surface dressing that leaves the soul unprovided for.

I urge you, therefore, to make your prayer with fear. Ask for daily bread. Ask for a quiet spirit that provides for your household without being ensnared by luxury. For you are warring with your own good if you frame accusations against the providence of God by demanding a great impact while your heart is divided. He draws you to the knowledge of Himself, that you should rejoice that the time of spiritual prosperity is at hand. Examine therefore your companies and your ministry. Do they serve necessity, or do they serve wantonness and the kindling of desire? Prune away every excess, and let your prayer be, not for great accomplishments to be seen by men, but for the strength to deny the faithlessness of the covetous. When you have provided for the body in health and for the soul in virtue, the Lord Himself will accomplish whatever else is needful for the subsidizing of your daughter and the peace of your household, that you may not be found worse than an infidel, but faithful in all your house.
