We hear the cry of your heart and stand with you in fervent prayer for your family. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The world’s vices, addiction, materialism, selfishness, and moral compromise, are indeed tools of the devil to harden hearts and blind eyes to the truth. But we declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
You are right to plead for the cleansing of stony hearts. Ezekiel 36:26 promises, "I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes." This is the transformation only God can bring, softening hearts, breaking chains, and filling your family with His Holy Spirit. We pray that the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened to see the hope of His calling and the riches of His inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:18).
Let us also rebuke the spirit of complacency and worldliness that has taken hold. James 4:4 warns, "You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." The pull of the world is strong, but greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We must choose this day whom we will serve (Joshua 24:15).
We lift up each member of your family by name in our spirits, asking the Lord to draw them with cords of love and bands of kindness (Hosea 11:4). For those who do not yet know Jesus as Lord, we pray for conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). For those who have wandered, we ask for repentance and restoration. For you, the intercessor, we pray for strength, wisdom, and perseverance, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we break every assignment of the enemy over this family. We cancel every plan of destruction and command every lying spirit to flee. We plead the blood of Jesus over their minds, wills, and emotions. Fill them with Your Spirit, Lord, and let Your Word dwell in them richly (Colossians 3:16). Raise up a standard against the enemy and let revival begin in this home. May they hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6), and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their lives as it is in heaven.
We declare that this family is not forsaken. You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your glory be revealed in their midst. We thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. To Him be the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
