Salvation

Satan has his hand on our Family. Many only look to wordly vices. We need more of you Jesus. Clean our stony hearts and fill us with your spirit. IJN Amen

We hear the cry of your heart and stand with you in fervent prayer for your family. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The world’s vices, addiction, materialism, selfishness, and moral compromise, are indeed tools of the devil to harden hearts and blind eyes to the truth. But we declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

You are right to plead for the cleansing of stony hearts. Ezekiel 36:26 promises, "I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes." This is the transformation only God can bring, softening hearts, breaking chains, and filling your family with His Holy Spirit. We pray that the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened to see the hope of His calling and the riches of His inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:18).

Let us also rebuke the spirit of complacency and worldliness that has taken hold. James 4:4 warns, "You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." The pull of the world is strong, but greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We must choose this day whom we will serve (Joshua 24:15).

We lift up each member of your family by name in our spirits, asking the Lord to draw them with cords of love and bands of kindness (Hosea 11:4). For those who do not yet know Jesus as Lord, we pray for conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). For those who have wandered, we ask for repentance and restoration. For you, the intercessor, we pray for strength, wisdom, and perseverance, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we break every assignment of the enemy over this family. We cancel every plan of destruction and command every lying spirit to flee. We plead the blood of Jesus over their minds, wills, and emotions. Fill them with Your Spirit, Lord, and let Your Word dwell in them richly (Colossians 3:16). Raise up a standard against the enemy and let revival begin in this home. May they hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6), and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their lives as it is in heaven.

We declare that this family is not forsaken. You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your glory be revealed in their midst. We thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. To Him be the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

It is heavy to watch people you love chase things that leave them empty, and to feel the weight of that spiritual battle pressing on your family. We sit with you in that ache, and we don’t take it lightly. The very fact that you are crying out for Jesus and asking for stony hearts to be made new is itself a sign that God’s Spirit is already at work, in you, and through you for them. That burden you carry is not a sign of defeat; it is a share of God’s own longing for your family.

We have seen again and again that heart change rarely happens all at once. It often comes through small, steady moments: a faithful prayer whispered in the car, a consistent choice to love them without scorching their ears, a quiet refusal to give up hope. Keep doing the ordinary, persistent work of intercession. And be gentle with yourself, this kind of battle is exhausting, and you cannot carry your family’s choices on your own shoulders. Jesus carries them with you.

One thing we have found helpful is to ask the Holy Spirit to show us the specific ways we can love each person right now, not just ways we want them to change. Sometimes a simple act of kindness opens a door that years of pleading could not. You are not their Savior, but you are a living sign that His love has not given up on that house.

Let us pray now. Lord Jesus, You know every corner of this family and every heart that feels hard as stone. We ask You to move in power and gentleness where no human effort can reach. Soften what is resistant, untangle what is trapped in worldly vices, and fill each one with Your Spirit. Strengthen this beloved intercessor with courage and peace, and guard them from hopelessness. Let Your light break through, and bring this family into the freedom and wholeness only You can give. In Your mighty name, Amen.

The cry of your heart is one I know well, for many a soul has groaned under the heavy hand of the adversary, seeing their household given to worldly vices. Yet hear this: true repentance is that which gives God glory, not a repentance of the flesh, but a holy, heavenly sort worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit. It is a repentance that needs not to be repented of, making a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work. Christ was nailed to the cross for it; that is the repentance which bringeth us salvation. This repentance is not a bitter thing to be endured once, but it lives as long as faith, and sweet Sister Repentance is such charming company that we shall regret to part with her even at the gates of pearl. It is the gift of God, one of the free gifts of His Grace; and whoever has it may rest assured that the work of salvation has been already begun in his soul. And with this repentance comes remission of sins, full and free forgiveness to all who sincerely repent.

But mark well, there is no salvation without faith in the Person of Christ. The way of salvation is simply to believe on Him; trust in Him; leave the whole matter of your salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. This is the faith which saves the soul. As for deliverance from Satan’s hand, it is all of grace. When the lamb was slain, deliverance came. He brought them forth, also, with silver and gold; and He will bring you forth. The tried and tempted man will see clearly that salvation is all of grace. He can do nothing and he knows it. Cry to the Lord for that deliverance, for He has found a ransom. God Himself has invented a way of deliverance from the pit of hell through a ransom, the blood of His dear Son. Therefore, plead the precious blood and ask for the Spirit to take away the stony heart and give a heart of flesh. He is able to fill you with His Spirit, to restore the joy of His salvation, and to uphold you with His free Spirit. Only come to Christ; forsake those empty vices and look to Him. Say with the psalmist, “Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation; and uphold me with Your free Spirit.” For He is faithful that promised.

Father, we come before You on behalf of this family. We rebuke the enemy's hand over their lives and ask that You break every chain of worldly vices and deception *(2 Corinthians 4:4)*. Remove their stony hearts and replace them with hearts of flesh that are soft and responsive to You *(Ezekiel 36:26)*. Fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit and draw them closer to You, for You alone are their source of life and freedom *(James 4:8)*. Let Your light shine in every dark area, and restore this family to walk in Your truth and love *(John 8:32)*. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
