Salvation

We rejoice with you in the gift of salvation, which comes only through faith in Jesus Christ! It is by His grace alone that we are saved, not by our own works, so that no one may boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). Your prayer acknowledges the power of His name, and we stand with you in gratitude for the redemption found in Christ.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise for the sanctity of the body You have created. You declare in Your Word that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in us, whom we have from You. We are not our own, for we were bought with a price. Therefore, we glorify You in our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Lord, we ask that You sanctify every part of us, spirit, soul, and body, so that we may be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

We seek Your anointing upon our prayers, that they may be pleasing in Your sight and aligned with Your will. The prayer of the upright is Your delight (Proverbs 15:8), and we desire to approach You with hearts made pure by the blood of Jesus. May our petitions rise like incense before Your throne, and may Your Holy Spirit intercede for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26).

Father, we lift up every soul reading these words, asking that You draw them closer to You. For those who have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone has not confessed Jesus as Lord, we urge them to repent and believe in Him, for the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).

Lord, we also pray for those who may be struggling with sin, whether it be sexual immorality, idolatry, or any other temptation. Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Strengthen us to flee from sin and to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness (1 Timothy 6:11). May we walk in the light as You are in the light, having fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son cleansing us from all sin (1 John 1:7).

We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and our righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17). We stand firm in Your promises, knowing that You who began a good work in us will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you in that simple, powerful prayer. "Sanctify this body", that's a desire the Spirit plants, not something we dream up on our own. It means you're already being drawn deeper, and we give thanks for that alongside you.

What helps us when the word "sanctification" feels large or distant is remembering it happens in the ordinary. It's God setting you apart, yes, that's settled in Christ, but it's also the daily, almost quiet work of yielding each part of who you are back to Him. This body, with its routines and its limits and its particular history, becomes a place where His presence dwells. That doesn't mean striving harder. It often means paying attention: noticing where you're tempted to drift or numb out, and instead offering that moment to the Lord honestly. A small, concrete way to walk into your own prayer could be to take one ordinary activity this week, maybe your morning shower, your commute, or preparing a meal, and inwardly present it: "Lord, this too is Yours. Set it apart. Set me apart in it." Not as a ritual, but as a realignment of the heart.

The request for anointing tells us you're asking for His empowering presence, not just your own effort. That's a good and humble place to be. We trust He honors it.

Jesus, we join our friend in thanking You. Continue what You've begun, set apart every corner of this life for Your purposes. Let Your Spirit rest on them in power, and make their body a willing, whole instrument of Your peace. In Your name we pray, Amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Beloved, your brief petition breathes the very spirit of godliness, for prayer is the unfailing mark of the newborn soul. To cry, "Salvation" and to give thanks to the Father is to prove that you have passed from death unto life. This is the beginning of that holy fellowship with God which shall never end.

You plead, "Sanctity this body." Remember that sanctification is a gift of the Father through the truth, even as our Lord prayed, "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." It is the will of God that you should be set apart for His service, made pure within and without. The body is the temple of the Holy Ghost; dedicate it, therefore, wholly unto Him, and seek daily that washing of water by the Word. Let no member of your body be an instrument of unrighteousness, but yield yourself as one alive from the dead, that Christ may dwell in your heart by faith.

You ask, "Anoint our prayer." O soul, remember that you are anointed of God in Christ Jesus, yet you may feel weak as David did when he said, "I am this day weak, though anointed king." The anointing does not always bring present strength to the flesh, but it seals you unto the day of redemption. Cry mightily for the Spirit's fresh unction upon every supplication, that your prayers may ascend as incense before the throne.

Go on, then, in this blessed way of holiness. The God of peace will perfect that which concerneth you, for He hath made with you an everlasting covenant. Abide in Christ, and let His word abide in you, and you shall see the Lord, for without holiness none shall see His face. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for the body to be made holy and for your prayers to be anointed, yet the Scriptures and the fathers teach us what these things truly mean. The old law commanded anointing of the flesh, washing the body, and such carnal observances, things that pertained only to the physical and were but figures of a deeper purity. In Christ, we receive a new creation, not of water and earth, but in righteousness and holiness of truth. This is what baptism signifies: the death of the old man and the rising of a son who follows peace and purity, without which no one shall see the Lord.

When our Lord spoke of anointing, He did not command us to smear oil on the skin, else the monks who flee to the mountains would be the first transgressors. Rather, He taught us to conceal our devotion, to pray in secret, to fast without display, so that our heavenly Father who sees in secret may reward us. The anointing He desires is the gift of grace, the keeping of the spirit blameless until His coming, and the pursuit of holiness that yields confidence, not shame.

Salvation is not found in the customs of the body or the pride of lineage, but in a sincere repentance and a faith that clings to Christ alone. He sanctified Himself for all who believe, that they might be made holy not by the works of the law but by His one offering. If you would see the Lord, then follow peace with all men and that purity which comes from a heart set apart for Him, not trusting in the outward act, but in the inward renewal that produces the fruit of everlasting life.
