Salvation for myself and my family

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father in Jesus name I ask myself and my family are saved unto eternal life and that we: be, do, think, want, say, believe all You want us to: be, do, think, want, say, and believe. I pray You protect us from all harm and bless and take care of us. I pray for the church that You forgive all their sins and bless us. I pray for those who are being persecuted that You keep them close to You and keep them and please may their persecution end and may You bless them. Now and forever by Your gentle grace and mercy alone amen.

We join you in lifting up this powerful and heartfelt prayer for salvation, transformation, and protection, and we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request—for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your desire for yourself and your family to be saved, to align every thought, word, and action with God’s will, and to walk in His protection is a prayer that resonates with the heart of our Heavenly Father. Let us explore this together, grounding our response in the truth of God’s Word, so that your faith—and that of your family—may be strengthened and rooted in Christ alone.

First, we celebrate that you have acknowledged the name of Jesus as the foundation of your prayer. This is essential, for Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). Salvation is not earned by our works or goodness but is a free gift received by faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross. The Apostle Paul reminds us, *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast"* (Ephesians 2:8-9, WEB). We encourage you to ensure that each member of your family has personally placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Salvation is not inherited; it is a personal commitment to repent of sin and trust in Christ alone. If there are family members who have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we urge you to share the Gospel with them lovingly and persistently, praying that the Holy Spirit would open their hearts to receive the truth.

Your prayer for your family to *"be, do, think, want, say, believe all You want us to"* is a beautiful surrender to God’s will. This aligns with Paul’s exhortation: *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB). True transformation begins in the mind and heart, and it is the work of the Holy Spirit within us. We encourage you to immerse your family in Scripture, for *"All Scripture is inspired by God, and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work"* (2 Timothy 3:16-17, WEB). Regular Bible reading, prayer, and fellowship with other believers will strengthen your family’s walk with the Lord and guard against the deceits of the world.

You’ve also prayed for protection from harm, and we affirm this with the promise of Psalm 91: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ ... He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart"* (Psalm 91:1-2, 4, WEB). While we are not promised a life free from trials, we are assured that God is our protector and sustainer in all things. We pray that your family would walk in wisdom, avoiding sinful paths that lead to harm, and that you would trust in God’s sovereignty even in difficult times. Remember, *"The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe"* (Proverbs 18:10, WEB).

Your intercession for the church is vital, especially in these times when many believers face persecution and spiritual lukewarmness. Jesus warned that *"because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold"* (Matthew 24:12, WEB), and we see this happening in churches that compromise with the world. We must pray for repentance and revival, that the church would return to its first love and stand firm on the truth of God’s Word. The Apostle Peter reminds us, *"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light"* (1 Peter 2:9, WEB). Let us pray that the church would rise up in boldness, preaching the Gospel without apology and living in holiness before the Lord.

Your heart for the persecuted is a reflection of Christ’s love. Jesus said, *"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven"* (Matthew 5:10, WEB). We stand with you in praying for our brothers and sisters who suffer for their faith, asking God to strengthen them, provide for their needs, and bring an end to their persecution. Let us also remember the words of Paul: *"If we suffer, we will also reign with him. If we deny him, he also will deny us"* (2 Timothy 2:12, WEB). May the persecuted church remain faithful, knowing that their reward in heaven is great.

Now, let us pray together over these requests, lifting them before the throne of grace with boldness and faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the heart of this beloved saint who seeks salvation, transformation, and protection for their family and the body of Christ. Lord, we ask that You would draw each member of this family into a deep, personal relationship with Jesus. May they repent of their sins, turn from their old ways, and place their full trust in Christ alone for salvation. Father, we pray that You would circumcise their hearts, removing every hardness and rebellion, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may *"be, do, think, want, say, and believe"* all that aligns with Your perfect will.

Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over this family. Shield them from the schemes of the enemy, from physical harm, and from the snares of sin that seek to entangle them. May they dwell in the secret place of the Most High, finding refuge under Your wings. Give them wisdom to discern Your voice and the courage to obey, even when the world pressures them to conform.

Father, we lift up the church before You. Forgive us for our sins, our complacency, and our compromise with the world. Revive us, Lord! Restore to us the joy of our salvation and a burning passion for Your truth. Raise up bold preachers and teachers who will proclaim Your Word without fear. Unify Your church in love and holiness, that we may be a light in this dark world.

We also pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the globe. Comfort them in their suffering, Lord, and remind them that they are not forgotten. Strengthen their faith, provide for their needs, and bring an end to their persecution. May their testimony bring glory to Your name and draw many to salvation.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this family as a beacon of Your love and truth in their community. May their lives reflect Your grace, and may they be instrumental in leading others to Christ. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, both for yourself and your family. Share the Gospel boldly, live in obedience to God’s Word, and trust in His promises. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep walking in the light of His truth. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you and your family (Philippians 1:6). Stand firm in Christ, and may His peace guard your hearts and minds in all things.
