salvation and healing for my ex father in law

Beloved of All
Please God save my ex's father ,he is very ill and might die soon, pleaseinterfere immediately and heal them if possible, asap,in Jesus naME AMEN.

We join you in lifting up your ex father-in-law before the throne of grace, and we are moved by your compassion and urgency for his soul and his body even after the change in your family relationship. It is a beautiful reflection of Christ's love to intercede for him in this critical hour.

We agree with you that his greatest need is salvation, for physical healing is temporary but salvation is eternal. Scripture tells us that God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4, and that The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. We also cling to the promise that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9, and For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16.

We also bring his physical illness before the Great Physician, knowing that our God is able to heal. We remember that He forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3, and But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed, Isaiah 53:5. We pray with faith as we are taught that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven, James 5:15.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and hope. We lift up this dear man, this father and grandfather who is very ill and may soon stand before eternity. Lord, we ask first and foremost for his salvation. By Your Holy Spirit, open his eyes to see Jesus, soften his heart to repent and to believe that Jesus died for his sins and rose again. Grant him clarity of mind and opportunity to confess Jesus as Lord before it is too late. We ask that You place believers around his bedside to share the gospel with gentleness and truth in these final days.

Father, we also ask for Your mercy regarding his body. If it is Your will, we ask You to interfere immediately and bring healing and restoration, to ease his suffering, to give wisdom to his doctors and comfort to his family. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified whether through miraculous healing in this life or through the ultimate healing of eternal life with You. Give peace to all who love him and give our brother or sister who is praying the boldness to speak of Christ and the comfort of knowing they have interceded in love.

We thank You that we can come boldly to You only through Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or by which we have access to Your throne. We trust Your perfect love, timing, and power. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing and, if the Lord provides opportunity, to lovingly share the good news of Jesus with him or ensure that a pastor or Christian family member can do so. God can work even in the last moments, and your prayers are powerful and effective. May the Lord comfort you and give you peace as you entrust this man into His caring hands.

We heard the urgency in your request and the care you still have for your ex father-in-law. It is a tender thing to bring someone from a former family bond before the Lord, especially when time feels so short, and we are honored you let us pray with you.

We join you in asking for two things you named, that he would know Jesus and that God would be merciful to him in his illness. Healing is in God's hands, not in the strength of our words, and we can trust Him to hear and to act according to His perfect love and will, even when we long for an immediate answer. That trust doesn't make the waiting easier, but it does give us a place to rest while we keep praying.

If you are still in touch with the family, a simple, gentle next step could be to let them know you are praying for him and ask if he is getting the medical and comfort care he needs. Sometimes just knowing someone cares enough to pray is a comfort to the whole family, and it can open a quiet door to share your hope in Christ if the Lord gives opportunity.

Father, we lift this dear man to You. You know his body and his heart, how ill he is and how much he needs You. Have mercy on him, ease his suffering, provide good care through those around him, and draw him to Yourself. We ask for Your saving grace and Your healing touch as You will, and for peace for all who love him. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your burden for this afflicted man is heard, and it is right and good to bring him before the throne of grace while there is yet time. That you should plead for one who was once joined to you by family ties, though that tie has been loosed, shows a merciful spirit, and we would join our prayers to yours that God would interfere in great mercy.

We pray first and chiefly for his salvation, for what shall it profit a man if his body be healed for a little while and his soul be lost. There is only one salvation that is worth the having, and that is God's salvation. It was His in the planning, for none but Himself in infinite wisdom could have devised it, and it is His in the providing through the blood of His Son. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, whom God has laid in Zion for a foundation. It is to trust in Him, to look unto Him and be saved, for beside Him there is none else. There is a sweet reasonableness in the provision of a Substitute for guilty men, and that Substitute is the Lord Jesus Christ alone. We do not trust in masses or merits or good works, but we come as poor guilty sinners and take salvation without money and without price, by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus.

Oh that this dear sufferer, very ill and near to eternity, may be enabled to look unto Christ even now and find pardon. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very leaves are full of healing virtue, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings for all who look to Him in faith.

We therefore entreat the Lord for both mercies, yet in submission to His sovereign will. We ask that if it be His gracious purpose, He would lay His healing hand upon this father and raise him up again, that the abundant streams of healing which flow from Christ the Head may come down to him even in his sickness. And if the Lord has appointed that his course on earth is nearly finished, we pray that he may be made ready to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better. For the believer, to die is not loss but gain, a departing to be at the right hand of God in eternal security and ineffable delight. May he not be ashamed in that hour, but be able to rejoice and say, I will rejoice in Thy salvation.

Let us pray together. O Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hast blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, look in mercy upon this sick man. Thou knowest his frame and his sin and his sorrow. Grant him repentance and faith to believe on Thy Son and so to be saved. Forgive his iniquity and, if it please Thee, say also, I am thy healing, and spare his life for further testimony of Thy grace. But above all, prepare him to meet Thee, that whether in life or in death he may be Thine. We ask this not for any merit in us, but in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, to whom with Thee and the Holy Spirit be glory forever. Amen.

Continue to plead with God for him, and as you have opportunity, set Christ before him plainly, that he may hear the plain gospel of salvation by divine grace and look to Jesus and live.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your ex father in law has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the Lord in this urgent hour.

We pray that God in His mercy would draw near to him in his illness, that He would grant healing according to His perfect will and wisdom, and that He would grant time and opportunity for the gospel to be clearly heard and received. Above all we pray for his salvation, knowing that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, by His death and resurrection, and that to turn to Him in faith is the one hope for this life and the life to come.

We ask the Father to have compassion on him, to ease his suffering, to give wisdom to those caring for him, and to open his heart to know that God became man, was crucified, was buried, rose again, and will judge, and that He now offers forgiveness and new life to all who believe. If he has not yet trusted Christ, we pray that even now he would hear, understand, and call upon the name of Jesus and be saved.

We are bearing this burden with you, as we are called to bear one another's burdens, and we encourage you to continue to pray earnestly, to speak of Christ with love and truth as God gives opportunity, and to trust the Lord with the outcome, whether in healing in this life or in taking him to Himself. The Lord knows our frame and hears the prayers offered in faith in Jesus name.

May God give you peace as you wait on Him, and may His will be done for your ex father in law, for healing of the body if it be His will, and for the healing of the soul that comes only through Christ.

We will continue to pray with you, in Jesus name, Amen.
