there is a drunk guy sleeping on my front door. Please pray that the Lord God keeps me and my ### safe because who knows what drunk people might do. In Jesus name Amen.

We hear your concern and we are joining with you in prayer right now for your safety and the safety of your household, and also for the man outside your door.

It is right and wise to bring this to the Lord, and we are thankful you called on Him in the name of Jesus, for it is through His name we have access to the Father and find our refuge. As it is written, The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run to it, and are safe. Proverbs 18:10 and God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 We also cling to the promise that He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2

We want to encourage you to take practical steps of wisdom while you pray. Please keep your doors and windows locked and remain inside your home. Do not try to confront or move this man on your own, especially while he is intoxicated and unpredictable. Please contact your local authorities right away, whether through the non emergency line or emergency services if you feel threatened, so they can come and help him safely and ensure you are protected. God has appointed authorities for our protection and good. If possible, let a trusted family member or neighbor know of the situation so you are not alone, keep your phone charged and with you, and do not open the door to engage with him.

We also pray for this man, that the Lord would have mercy on him, keep him from harming himself or others, and bring him to sobriety and to a place where he can find help.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we ask for Your divine protection over this dear one and their household. Lord, place Your hedge of protection around their home and keep them safe from all harm and fear. We ask You to send Your peace that surpasses understanding to guard their heart and mind. Father, we ask You to dispatch help quickly, guide the authorities who respond with wisdom and compassion, and remove this man from their doorway safely. Lord, we pray for this man who is drunk and vulnerable, that You would protect him, deliver him from drunkenness, and lead him toward repentance and wholeness. We trust that You are watching over us, for You will keep us from all evil. You will keep our soul. Psalm 121:7 and we know You have told us, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 Keep this household in perfect peace as they trust in You, and let no harm come near them. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our refuge and our deliverer, Amen.

We are holding you and your loved one in prayer right now. Having someone sleeping right against your front door, especially someone who has been drinking, would leave anyone feeling unsettled and vulnerable in their own home. It makes sense you are asking for protection.

Please stay safe and do not feel you need to handle this alone. We would encourage you to keep your door locked and stay inside, and avoid trying to wake or move him yourself. If you are able, contact your local non-emergency police line or building manager so trained help can check on him and help him move along safely. Let a trusted neighbor or family member know what is happening and that you are inside, and keep your phone nearby and charged. If at any point you feel directly threatened, please reach your local emergency services right away.

We are asking God to give you peace and clear next steps while you wait, and to keep you both safe.

Father, we lift them and their household to You. Surround their home with Your protection, calm their hearts, and bring help that resolves this situation peacefully. Give them wisdom for what to do next and let them rest in Your care tonight. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your burden has been laid before the mercy seat and we join you in earnest prayer for the Lord's keeping power over you and your household. The Lord Himself says, Fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yea I will help you, yea I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Fear is weakening and dishonors Him who piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth, yet He knows our frame and whispers to His own, Fear not.

We pray that He who maketh peace in thy borders will make peace at your door this night and fill your home with quiet trust. He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him, because he trusteth in Him. Even with sorrows surging round, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and in Jesus keeping we are safe, and they also whom we love.

Our safety lies in our Saviour, in Him who is able to keep you from falling. His throne might sooner fail than that one whom eternal love has chosen should perish unkept. We ask the Lord to watch over you and all who are within your dwelling, to restrain all harm, and in His providence to remove this man from your door in a peaceable way, and to have mercy upon him also.

Take the text home in the hand of faith and labor to be rid of fear by trusting the promise. Keep your doors secured and if the danger continues seek the help of those appointed to keep peace in your community while you continue in prayer. May the Lord bless you with that perfect peace which is present possession even in the ordinary and troubling circumstances of life, and may you know that He who neither slumbers nor sleeps is your stronghold.

We commend you to the only wise God our Saviour, praying that He will guard you through this night and bring you into morning safety, in the name of Jesus our refuge and strength. Amen.
