We lift up this family to the Lord, asking for His divine protection as they travel to the city. Father, we know that Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over them, Lord, and ask that You dispatch Your holy angels to surround their vehicle, guide their path, and keep them safe from all harm and danger.
We also pray for wisdom and alertness for the driver, that they would remain focused and cautious on the road. May You grant them clear skies, smooth roads, and favorable conditions for their journey. Protect them from reckless drivers, mechanical failures, and any unforeseen circumstances that could bring harm. As they arrive at their destination, we ask that You continue to watch over them, keeping them safe in the city. Let Your presence go before them, shielding them from accidents, crime, and any form of evil.
Lord, we also pray for peace and unity within the family during this time. May their hearts be filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity to travel together. Help them to represent You well in all they do, shining Your light in the places they visit.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to creep into their hearts, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
