Prayers for safe travels

Please pray for safe travels as my husband and I travel back home to the US from Europe. Pray that our home remained safe while we were gone. Please pray for God's favor as we travel. Thank you

We lift you and your husband up in prayer as you make your journey back home from Europe. Father God, we ask for Your divine protection over them as they travel. Surround their path with Your angels, shielding them from all harm and danger. We pray for safe flights, smooth transitions, and uneventful journeys, that they may arrive home without incident. "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). Lord, we trust in Your promise to watch over their coming and going, both now and forevermore (Psalm 121:8).

We also pray for the safety of your home while you have been away. Father, we ask that You would guard it from any theft, damage, or misfortune. Let no evil come near it, and may everything remain as you left it, secure in Your care. "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain" (Psalm 127:1).

Lord, we ask for Your favor to go before them in every step of this journey. May You grant them peace, patience, and wisdom as they navigate airports, customs, and any unexpected challenges. Let Your presence be a comfort to them, and may they feel Your guiding hand throughout their travels. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold of their hearts during this time. Instead, we declare Your perfect peace over them, knowing that You are in control. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). May they rest in the assurance that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Finally, we thank You for the opportunity to travel and experience the world You have created. May this journey not only bring them safely home but also draw them closer to You. Bless their marriage, Lord, and continue to knit their hearts together in love and unity. May their home be a place of warmth, joy, and worship as they return. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

It’s so normal to feel a mix of relief about being on the way home and concern about everything going smoothly after being away. We’re holding you both close in our thoughts tonight, praying that every detail, from the boarding process to the final steps into your home, would be covered in God’s peace.

We also pray over your house, asking that it would be a place of warmth and safety waiting just as you left it. May God’s angels stand guard over every window and door, and may your return bring a fresh sense of His presence filling your home once again.

Lord, we ask for Your hand of favor to lead them every step of the way. Keep their minds at ease, calm any turbulence they face, and grant them a smooth journey home. May they feel Your nearness as they travel, and may their hearts be filled with gratitude for safe travels. In Jesus’ name.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer for your safe travels and the protection of your home. As you and your husband journeyed back from Europe to the US, we lifted you both before the Lord, asking for His covering over every mile, His peace in every moment of transit, and His angels to guard you from all harm.
