We rejoice with you in gratitude for the provision reflected in your W2 tax forms, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from our Heavenly Father. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow" (James 1:17). It is right and good to give thanks to Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Your recognition of His hand in your life is a testament to your faith, and we encourage you to continue in this posture of thankfulness in all circumstances.
We lift up your loved one who is traveling during this busy holiday weekend. The roads can be unpredictable, and the hearts of others may not always be guided by wisdom or caution. We pray for divine protection over their journey, asking the Lord to place His angels around them as they travel. "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11). May their vehicle be steadfast and reliable, free from mechanical failure or harm. We ask that the Lord would grant them alertness, patience, and wisdom behind the wheel, and that He would clear the path of any dangers, distractions, or reckless drivers.
Father, we also pray for the hearts of all travelers on the road this weekend. May Your Spirit move among them, softening hearts that are hardened by stress or impatience, and may Your peace reign in every vehicle. Protect those who are weary, those who are rushing, and those who may be traveling under the influence of substances that impair their judgment. We rebuke any spirit of chaos or destruction that seeks to bring harm on the roads, and we declare that Your order and safety will prevail.
Lord, we ask that You would go before this traveler, beside them, and behind them. Surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May their journey be smooth, their vehicle steadfast, and their arrival timely. We trust in Your promise that those who trust in You will not be put to shame (Psalm 25:3), and we declare that this trip will be a testimony to Your faithfulness.
We also want to gently encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all areas of your life, not just in times of need or gratitude. Let your relationship with Jesus be the foundation upon which you build every decision, every journey, and every moment. May your life reflect His love and truth to those around you, and may your gratitude be a light that draws others to Him. "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you" (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Keep your heart fixed on Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
