Protection, safe travels

We join with you in thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father for His constant care and we agree together with you for protection and safe travels on this long drive for you and for all who are traveling today. We are encouraged that you have come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us.
We are reminded of His promise to watch over His children wherever we go. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. Psalm 121:7-8. And again, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. We cling to these truths as we lift you up, trusting that the Lord is sovereign over every mile, every road, and every traveler.
We pray together for you now.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your faithful provision for us each day. We thank You for this opportunity to travel and we ask for Your hand of protection to rest upon us and upon all who are on the roads today. Lord, guide every driver with alertness, patience, and wisdom, keep the vehicles sound, keep the roads clear of danger, and lead us safely to our destination according to Your will. Calm any anxiety and grant peace to our hearts as we trust in You. We ask that You guard us from harm and bring us home safely, and we give You all the glory for Your watchful care. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in Him as you travel, to rest when you need to, to remain alert and prayerful, and to acknowledge Him in all your ways. Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble. Proverbs 3:23. May the Lord grant you a peaceful and safe journey and may you feel His presence with you every mile.

We join with you in prayer and thanksgiving before the throne of grace for this journey set before you.
How innumerable are the mercies of our God, and every one of them comes to us by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood upon it. That you have a desire to thank Him for all He does for you is itself a mercy, for it shows a heart inclined to hear His voice and to come unto Him. We praise Him with you for His lovingkindness which has kept you until this hour, for His mercies are new every morning and great is His faithfulness.
We ask the Lord to spread His protection over you as one who rests under the shadow of the Almighty. As it is written, He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust. There is not only protection from danger in such a shelter, but comfort and homeliness, as a mother hen gathers her young, so the Lord gathers His own with love and kindliness. May you know that nearness and that sense of being at home under His care as you travel.
We commend you to that great Captain who has foreordained all things from the beginning even unto the end. With such a Captain, the good ship of Providence is safe, and each hour and each place of difficulty may still be secure to those who rest beneath the wings of the eternal God. We pray that He would keep you from all harm, give watchful care to all who travel upon the road with you, grant clear sight and steady hands, and bring you to your destination in peace.
May you never venture upon a single day without first seeking Divine protection, and may you find when the journey is ended fresh cause to tell with a sparkling eye of the manifold goodness of the Lord.
