Safe travels hand healing

We join you in thanksgiving that you have come before the Father in the name of Jesus, our strong tower, our healer and rescuer of our souls. It brings us joy to agree with you in prayer for this journey and for healing, for we know that the name of Yahweh is a strong tower, the righteous run to him and are safe Proverbs 18:10 and that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.
We lift up your travels by car this weekend to visit your child in college. We ask the Lord to keep you and to watch over every mile of the road, to grant you a reliable vehicle without mechanical trouble, and to bring you there and back in peace. We are reminded that Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward and forevermore Psalm 121:8 and that he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. We pray for alertness behind the wheel, for favorable weather and road conditions, for protection from danger and for a joyful reunion with your child that encourages and strengthens your family bond in the Lord.
We also bring before the Lord the healing of your hand. We know our God is the Lord who heals us Exodus 15:26 and that he has promised, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We ask for his healing touch upon your hand, to reduce any pain, swelling or limitation, to restore strength and function, and to guide any medical care you may need. We trust that he is near to those who call upon him and that when we are weak he gives power and strength, for he says, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
Father, together we seek your will and ask in the name of Jesus that you would cover this family with your protection on the highway, keep their vehicle running reliably, let their time with their college child be blessed and edifying, and lay your healing hand upon this hand that it may be fully restored for your glory. Grant peace that surpasses all understanding as they trust in you Philippians 4:7 and let them feel your presence as their strong tower and rescuer every step of the way. We pray all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We give thanks that you know Him as your strong tower and your healer and the rescuer of your soul, for such He truly is. There is a safe shelter beneath His wings, where love and homeliness and kindliness are found, and where the soul feels itself at home under the shadow of the Almighty. He that holds the waters in the hollow of His hand will take care of you upon the road, and under His wings you may trust. How safe are they who are embarked in the good ship of Providence with such a Captain who has foreordained all things from the beginning even unto the end. We pray that He will keep you in your going out and your coming in, that He will give you a reliable way and watch over the vehicle that bears you, and bring you to your child and home again in peace. May that promise roll sweetly into your soul, that no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly, and that when you are afraid you may lay hold upon His word, Fear not, for I am with you.

The least thing about Christ is healing, and the very leaves of that blessed tree which is Christ are for the healing of His people. His is the eagle's eye to see your sickness, the lion's heart bravely to encounter it, and the gentle hand to apply the heavenly ointment. As He took the fevered one by the hand and lifted her up, so His cool hand can grasp your hand, and His health can flow into you, for He Himself bore our sicknesses. We pray that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings, and that whether by His immediate touch or by the means He appoints, you may know His restoring power. Above all we rejoice that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in Christ, and that pardon and healing are one in Him.
May the Lord grant you a peaceful journey, a joyful visit, and a speedy healing, and keep you resting under the shadow of His wings till you are safe at home and safe in Him, for Jesus sake. Amen.
