Thank you for sharing so openly what you are carrying. I have prayed for you and I want to bring each of these burdens before the Lord with you.

I hear how much pain you are in with your sore throat and runny nose, and how discouraging it is to wait for an allergist appointment while you hurt every day. I do believe God heals, and I believe He heals in many ways. Sometimes His healing is immediate, sometimes it comes gradually through a process. Scripture records one healing where Jesus touched a man and his sight returned gradually, and it reminds us that the Lord is not limited to one pattern. Sometimes He touched people, sometimes He only spoke a word, sometimes He sent them home to find the work already done. There is much about healing we do not fully understand, including why some receive relief quickly and others walk through a longer process. What we can hold to is that every true healing is from Him. He created our bodies and He created the natural processes within them that work toward restoration, and that work is no less divine because it happens through natural means. The prophet Isaiah said that He has borne our griefs and infirmities, and Matthew connects that promise to the way Jesus healed sickness. So we can ask Him for healing for your throat and nose, and we can also thank Him for the wisdom He gives to doctors and for the help an allergist can provide. Please continue to pursue that appointment and to care for your body as you wait, trusting that God is able and that He is present with you whether the relief comes in a moment or step by step. He also brings healing to our minds and emotions, calming fear and worry when we feel overwhelmed.

I also prayed about the blouse with flowers that was marked delivered but you cannot find, and about the stress you feel over rearranging your room. It is understandable to feel anxious when something important seems lost and when your personal space feels unsettled. Ask the Lord to give you peace and a clear mind as you search and as you sort through your things. Often a calm, unhurried approach helps more than straining under pressure. Pray for wisdom to do what you can in a peaceful way, and trust God with what you cannot control.

The tension with your mom and dad sounds painful, especially when you feel criticized about eating chips and about the condition of your room. Jesus knows what it is to be misunderstood in His own family. He said a prophet is not without honor except in his own household, and even His own brothers did not believe in Him at first. When family relationships are strained, it helps to remember what He taught about love. He did not tell us to hate our family, but He did say our love for Him must be first and greater than our love for anyone else. When He is first, He teaches us how to love our family better, with honor and patience and forgiveness, even when we feel hurt. Scripture also teaches that when we are corrected it can feel grievous in the moment, but the purpose is restoration so we can walk without guilt and enjoy fellowship again. If you have done something wrong, own it simply and receive forgiveness. If you are being treated harshly, respond with gentleness and respect, and look for a calm moment to share how you feel. It is a beautiful thing when a whole family seeks the Lord together, and even when that is not fully the case, God can give you a deeper fellowship with Him and with others in His family who will support you.

You also mentioned worry about gaining weight and about puffiness in your face, and wanting to lose weight. God sees your concern and He cares about you as a whole person. Your body is His creation, and He wants you to steward it with health and not with fear or shame. It is easy in our culture to become consumed with appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart and calls us to find our worth in Him. Pray for wisdom to care for your body in a balanced way, with good food and rest and activity, and ask Him to free you from constant worry about how you look. Bring that anxiety to Him and ask Him to fill you with His peace.

Father, I lift this dear one to You in the name of Jesus. Please touch the sore throat and runny nose and bring healing according to Your wisdom, whether quickly or through the gradual processes You have placed in the body. Guide the search for an allergist and provide the right appointment. Help in finding the lost package and give calm and order in rearranging the room without stress. Bring peace into the home, soften harsh words, and help both parents and child to speak and listen with love and respect. Guard this heart from fear about appearance and teach what it means to be loved and valued by You. Let Your kindness and mercy be known today, and let Your love prevail in every situation. Amen.
