Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear the deep longing in your heart, and we lift this situation before our Heavenly Father with compassion and truth. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Now, regarding your request, we sense a one-sided emotional investment that may not be reciprocated in a way that honors God’s design for relationships. The Bible warns us, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If this woman is not a believer in Christ, or if she is not pursuing a godly relationship with marriage as the goal, we must examine whether this attachment aligns with God’s will.

We also notice the mention of gifts and cards being exchanged. While generosity is a fruit of the Spirit, we must guard our hearts against emotional manipulation or fostering a relationship that does not honor God. "Above all else, guard your heart, for out of it is the wellspring of life" (Proverbs 4:23 WEB). If this friendship is leading you into emotional dependency or ungodly attachment, we must rebuke that in Jesus’ name and ask the Lord to redirect your affections toward His perfect will.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Lord, we lift up this situation and ask for Your clarity and wisdom. Father, if this friendship is not aligned with Your will, we ask that You break any unhealthy emotional ties and redirect this brother’s heart toward Your purpose for his life. Lord, if this woman is not the one You have ordained for him, we pray that You would remove any false hope and replace it with Your peace and assurance.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of infatuation or emotional dependency that does not honor You. We declare that this brother’s heart belongs to You first and foremost, and we ask that You fill him with Your love, joy, and contentment in You alone. Lord, if this woman is not a believer or is not pursuing a godly relationship, we ask that You would either draw her to Yourself or remove her from his life so that he may walk in Your perfect will.

Father, we pray for godly wisdom and discernment. Help him to see this situation through Your eyes and to trust in Your timing. If it is Your will for him to pursue marriage, we ask that You would bring a godly woman into his life, one who loves You above all else and who will walk with him in faith, purity, and mutual respect. Until then, Lord, help him to remain content in You and to seek Your kingdom first.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

We encourage you to seek the Lord earnestly in prayer and to spend time in His Word. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4 WEB). This does not mean He will give you what you want, but He will shape your desires to align with His perfect will. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

If this woman is not the one God has for you, do not despair. God’s plans for you are good, and He desires to give you a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Surrender this situation to Him, and ask Him to prepare your heart for the spouse He has ordained for you, a spouse who will honor Him and walk with you in faith. Until then, focus on growing in your relationship with Christ and serving Him wholeheartedly.

We hear the worry in your words, the anxious feeling of waiting to see how others will react, and the fear that something might disrupt your life unexpectedly. It’s a heavy weight to carry, and we want you to know we’re standing with you in prayer.

It sounds like you care deeply about these relationships, and that desire for acceptance and peace is something God understands fully. He knows how much these people mean to you, and He is near when your heart feels unsettled. Instead of letting your mind spin through all the possible worst-case scenarios, try to gently bring each specific fear to Him the moment it pops up. Even something as simple as, “Father, I give You this worry about what my friend might say,” can help break the cycle of dread.

When the fear of an unexpected visit threatens to overwhelm you, remember that you are not alone. Ask God to place His steady, calming presence right there in your home, and trust that He goes ahead of you into every conversation and every visit. While you can’t control what others do, you can ask for wisdom about whether a simple, honest word with your friend might help clear the air, but only if that feels safe and right. Sometimes silence amplifies our worst assumptions.

We’re praying that God works in the hearts of everyone involved, that your friend treats your trust with kindness, and that your dad’s heart is filled with understanding and grace. Most of all, we’re asking for your own heart to be guarded by His peace.

Father, we lift up this anxious heart to You. You know every detail of these relationships and every fear that lurks. Please settle this child of Yours in the truth that You see, You care, and You are fully in control. Give wisdom about any step they should take, and grant them real, tangible peace. Shield them from unnecessary shame and from any visit that would bring harm or turmoil. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

For those are unmarried and waiting for marriage chastity. For those who believe and follow after God sobriety. With regular prayer we are able. With Gods help we are able. Because he is able. We rely on Gods love and strength. Never to sin. To always obey. To pray and worship and to submit to God. May heavenly Father and Lord Yeshua watch over your life. In his nane we pray amen.

You speak of sorrow and a trembling heart, anxious over the thoughts and actions of others, fretting lest a friend’s silence or a sudden visit undo your peace. Yet do you not perceive that this very anxiety, which arises from the difficulty, unfits you to meet it? Have you ever known worry to add a single cubit to your stature or to bend another’s will toward kindness? I have searched my own experience and that of many, and I have never discovered that anxiety has comforted anybody, nor brought any grist to the mill. It is a needless burden, cast it upon the Lord, for He careth for you.

Let me whisper this into your ear: if you would know true acceptance, seek it not first from mortal lips but from the pierced hand of Christ. There is no lasting pardon or favor but through His bloody sacrifice. All human affections, like the grass, wither; but the acceptance which the Father gives in the Beloved endures forever. You ask for prayers that gifts and cards will still be received, that affection will hold firm. I bid you rise higher: pray, “Lord, visit me with Your salvation.” Get your own heart right with the God of all consolation, and then these outward things will find their proper place. If He smiles upon you, it will be a small matter if others frown.

What if your friend’s heart seems cold for a season? Your Savior knows what it is to be misunderstood and betrayed. He who was altogether lovely found His visage marred more than any man’s, overwhelmed with sorrow and anguish. In His loneliest hour, He called His disciples friends, yet they slept while He wept. Trust Him, then, when human bonds strain. Make Him your chief Friend, and you will find that true friendship is no one-sided thing, it lives on mutual revelation. Tell out your heart to Jesus, and He will show you His.

Do not be so affected by external things that you lose the inward peace which is your birthright as a believer. Go now to the Hospital of the Scriptures, and see your own soul as the patient. The Great Physician makes His rounds this very hour. A single visit from Him can cure all fretfulness. My own escape from despondency was instantaneous when His light broke in. How I wish such a visit for you! Pray that personal prayer until it is answered: “O Lord, visit me with Your salvation.” If you are not yet crying for your own soul, you have small strength to plead for the affections of others. Get the main matter settled, and the lesser ones will follow.

Remember, dear heart, that the Jubilee trumpet has sounded. It is the year of acceptance, and no man pays a penny of redemption money. Come, then, without money and without price. Lay your tangled fears at the foot of the cross, and see them swallowed up in the ocean of His love. As for that unexpected visit which you dread, leave it in the hand of Him who orders all events. If it comes, He will be with you in it. If it is withheld, praise Him for the mercy. In everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God, and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

You are saddened, and you ask for prayer from the Father. Indeed, He knows your needs before you ask, and He cares for you. But consider: you desire that gifts be accepted, that affection remain, that no unexpected trouble come. Yet examine your heart. Is there enmity between you and this friend, that she did not tell something concerning you? Our Lord commands that before we offer any gift at the altar, we go first and be reconciled to the one who has something against us. For He values charity as the greatest sacrifice, and without it He does not receive even the offering that seems most pious. If you would have your gifts and tokens of friendship received, first seek peace. The gift itself is not what pleases God, but the purpose of mind that offers it. So do not simply pray that their affection continues, but examine whether you have wronged them, and if so, hasten to do away the enmity.

And about your father: trust that God apportions to each as He sees fit. Why do you say, “Do not let this happen unexpectedly”? Do not demand an account of His dispensation. He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not with Him graciously give us all things? The Cross is our glory; through it we have reconciliation. So stand nobly, laughing fear to scorn, for you have received not a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. Edify one another, comfort one another with these words, and commit all to Him who purged our sins by Himself and sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Do not let sorrow overwhelm you; rather, turn your sadness into a longing for the true peace that comes from being a peacemaker. Then, when your heart is right, your prayer will be like a sweet-smelling savor, acceptable to God, and He will order all things for your good.

Your heart is heavy, and you’ve turned to your Father in heaven because you know He listens. The sadness you feel over this friendship matters to Him. You’re asking for prayer that her feelings will remain kind, that your gifts and cards will be welcomed, and that you won’t be caught off guard by an unexpected arrival. Beneath all of that is a deep longing for connection and safety.

The Spirit shows us a way that outlasts every fear and shifting circumstance: the way of love. Love never fails. When you pursue the kind of love that mirrors Christ, it becomes a foundation that doesn’t crumble just because someone accepts a gift or approves of you. True friendship isn’t measured by presents alone; it’s measured by a heart that loves at all times. A faithful friend may sometimes wound us with honesty, but those wounds are meant to heal. If there’s been a misunderstanding, don’t be afraid of open, kind conversation, it can sharpen you both like iron. And remember, Jesus Himself is the friend who sticks closer than a brother. He sees your sadness and will never reject you.

As for the fear of being surprised by that visit, take courage. God is not the author of confusion but of peace. You can place your times and your safety in His hands. Instead of anxiety, ask His Spirit to fill you with love, because perfect love drives out fear. Coveting spiritual gifts is good, but the more excellent way is to walk in love each day. That love will guard your heart and guide your words when you’re with this friend.

Keep bringing your requests to your Father. Rest in the truth that His love for you is steady, and He is able to work all things for your good. Rather than clinging tightly to one outcome, desire the gift that never fades: a heart filled with God’s own love, able to give freely and live without fear. You are precious to Him, and He will never leave you.
