We come before you, Heavenly Father, in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, lifting up this dear one who is feeling unwell and burdened by many concerns. We ask for your healing touch to rest upon them, Lord. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over their life today, believing that you are the Great Physician who can restore health and bring comfort.
Father, we pray specifically for relief from the diarrhea and ask that you would settle their stomach and bring strength to their body. We rebuke any sickness or illness that may be trying to take hold and declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that you would also touch their runny nose, sore throat, and any signs of thrush, bringing swift healing and relief. Lord, we know that you care about every detail of our lives, even the smallest concerns, and we trust you to bring restoration.
We also lift up the concern about the little brown bugs. Father, we ask that you would drive them away from this home and protect their belongings. Your Word says in Exodus 23:28, "I will send the hornet before you, which will drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites from before you." Just as you drove out the enemies of your people, we ask that you would remove these pests and bring peace to this home.
Lord, we notice the mention of weight loss and ask that you would guide this dear one in healthy and godly ways to care for their body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray that they would seek your wisdom in all things, including their health, and trust in your provision and care.
We also want to gently remind this beloved child of God that consistent care, including taking prescribed medicine, is important. We understand that fatigue can make it difficult, but we encourage them to seek help if needed and to prioritize their well-being. Proverbs 3:7-8 says, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones."
Father, we ask that you would give them the time and energy to prepare for their program, including styling their wig and ensuring their clothes are ready. We declare that their leggings will hold strong and that they will feel confident and at peace as they go about their day. We pray for your presence to go with them, filling them with your joy and strength.
Above all, we pray that this dear one would draw near to you, Lord. You promise in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." May they experience your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and find rest in your loving arms. We thank you for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to answer. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
