Let us bring your concerns before the Lord, seeking His provision and guidance for your loved ones.
Firstly, we should understand that God is our provider and that we should look to Him for our needs. As it is written in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is a promise we can claim for your kids, grandkids, you, and your spouse.
However, we also need to remember the importance of diligence and good stewardship. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10, it says, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" So, let us pray that they will be diligent in their work and wise with their resources.
Let us also pray that they will not be anxious about their needs, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present their requests to God. As Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Now, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our loved ones who are in need of more income. We ask that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Give them the strength and wisdom to work diligently and to be good stewards of their resources. Help them to trust in You and not be anxious about their needs.
We also pray for their salvation, that they may know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to remind them of God's faithfulness. Share with them the stories of how God has provided for you and your spouse in the past. Encourage them to trust in God and to seek Him first, knowing that He will provide for all their needs. As a group we do not know your name, but we are praying for you and your family.
