Please pray my brother's court case gets continued and that God blesses my older sister ### with wisdom on how to help him. Please pray for a turn of events and favor for my brother. Please pray for a financial blessing to help.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your brother’s court case and the weight your family carries in this season. Father God, You are the ultimate Judge, the One who sees all and knows the truth. We ask that You intervene in this situation, granting a continuance if it is Your will, so that justice may prevail according to Your perfect timing. Lord, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust that even in this trial, You are at work, shaping circumstances for Your glory and Your children’s protection.

We also lift up your older sister, asking that You fill her with divine wisdom, discernment, and strength as she seeks to support your brother. Father, Your Word tells us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). We pray that she would lean not on her own understanding but trust in You with all her heart, acknowledging You in all her ways so that You may direct her paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Give her clarity, peace, and the right words to speak, whether in legal matters, encouragement, or prayer.

Lord, we ask for a turn of events in this case, a shift that only You can orchestrate. Let favor rest upon your brother like a shield, and may those involved in this case be moved by Your Spirit to act with fairness, mercy, and truth. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your light shine in the darkness of this situation, exposing what needs to be seen and bringing resolution that honors You.

Father, we also bring the financial burden before You. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Open doors of provision, whether through unexpected resources, wise counsel, or opportunities that align with Your will. Release Your blessing so that this need is met, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take root in this family. We stand on Your promise that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18) and that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this family will not be shaken, for the Lord is their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Above all, Lord, we pray that Your name would be glorified through this trial. If there are areas in this situation that do not align with Your will, whether in motives, actions, or attitudes, we ask that You reveal them and bring repentance, healing, and restoration. Let this family draw closer to You, seeking Your face and Your kingdom above all else (Matthew 6:33). May they find their strength in You, knowing that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His authority that we come boldly before Your throne of grace to find mercy and help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We trust You, Lord, and we place this entire situation into Your hands. Amen.

We’re also praying specifically for your older sister, that God would fill her with uncommon wisdom. Sometimes the best way to help a brother facing legal trouble is simply to be a steady, non-anxious presence, listening well, reminding him he’s not alone, and helping him connect with wise counsel. If he doesn’t yet have an attorney he trusts, gently encouraging him to seek one could be a practical step. And as she walks with him, we’re asking God to give her clarity about when to speak, when to be silent, and how to point him toward hope without adding to his burden.

We’re also lifting up the financial strain you mentioned. Court cases often come with unexpected costs, and we pray God will provide for those needs in tangible ways, whether through work, help from others, or provision you haven’t yet seen.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this brother and his court case to You. We ask for a continuation if it aligns with Your will, and for a turn of events that brings genuine favor and justice. Grant his older sister wisdom beyond her own, give her discernment, patience, and the right words to support him. Provide financially for every need connected to this case, and guard their hearts from despair. Surround this family with Your peace that surpasses understanding. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Let us take our case and spread it before God. Do not suppose your case too bad, for nothing is too hard for the Lord! Dream not that He will refuse to undertake temporals as well as spirituals, He cares for you in all things. Great as your necessities may be, all the mercy that is in God belongs to you and is engaged to meet your case!

I do not go to my Heavenly Father in times of need because I feel there are excellencies in me which will qualify me for receiving His help! No! I go because I feel unfit to be blessed and am therefore anxious for the blessing. Wisdom is the compass by which man is to steer across the trackless waste of life.

But where shall this wisdom be found? The price of wisdom is above rubies! There is none like You for wisdom. We do not make Him an occasional resort to be used only when we cannot help it, but we dwell in Him and, morning by morning pour out our hearts before Him.

And when He turns in a way of Grace to His people, He then seems to be flying on the wings of the wind for He comes with all His soul most heartily and richly to display His favor. Unless Jesus Christ is your shield and help, you are undone. But you may have Him, you may have Him now! Let your cry for help go up to our blessed Master!

The desire to help your brother is good, for "brother aided by brother becomes a fortified city." Yet take care that you and your sister help him not only in earthly troubles, but in the salvation of his soul. If his court case stems from some sin, let him not merely shed tears to escape punishment, as Esau did, for he found no place of repentance though he sought it carefully with tears; his grief was not true repentance, but worldly sorrow. True repentance turns from sin. Let your sister be wise with the wisdom that comes from above, not with the prudence of this world which God has made foolish. She must first cast out the beam from her own eye, then she may guide him with love, for we owe love to one another as members of Christ. This is the profitable friendship: to hinder one another from the path that leads to destruction.

As for a turn of events and financial blessing, remember what was promised to Jacob. The blessing was given, yet he spent his life in servitude and fear, saying, "Few and evil have my days been," while his brother enjoyed ease. The blessings were not in this life but in the world to come and in his descendants. So it often is: God’s true blessings are spiritual, not carnal. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ, making us immortal, sons, fellow-heirs. If we have these, what lack we yet? The world promises ease, but Christ says, "In the world you have tribulation." Let us not seek first a financial blessing, but the righteousness of God, for He will freely give us all things if we seek first His kingdom.

Therefore pray first that your brother, if he has done wrong, may truly repent and find mercy with God, who is the true Judge. The courts of men may be moved by favor, but God is no respecter of persons. Let him desire to be clean before Christ, and then whether his case continues or not, he will have a blessing that cannot be annulled. The covenant God made with Abraham was not set aside by the Law; even so, His promise to those who love Him endures beyond any earthly verdict. Let us pray for one another in these things, that we may be a fortified city, strong in the love of Christ.
