We come before the Lord with a humble heart, seeking His mercy and grace in these matters. First, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that all those mentioned in this request, and indeed all who do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, would come to a saving knowledge of Him.

Father God, we ask that You would work in the hearts and minds of those who need salvation. We pray for the Asian gentleman mentioned, and for all those in his life, that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their hearts to receive the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We pray the same for the other person mentioned and those in their life. May they come to know the truth of Your Word and the love of Christ that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we also bring before You the request to remove certain things from memory. We know that You are a God who heals and restores, and we ask that You would bring peace and healing to the mind and heart. Help to replace these memories and songs with the truth of Your Word and the peace that comes from knowing You. As Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."

We rebuke any unclean or ungodly influences that may be connected to these memories or songs. We pray that You would break any ungodly soul ties or strongholds that may be present, and that You would fill these places with Your Holy Spirit. We ask that You would guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as we are instructed in Proverbs 4:23, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."

Heavenly Father, we also pray for the sanctity of the mind. Help us to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, as we are instructed in 2 Corinthians 10:5. We pray that You would renew the mind and transform it by the power of Your Word and Your Spirit. May we be set free from any bondage and walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for us.

We lift up this prayer to You, trusting in Your mercy and grace. We ask that You would work in each of these situations according to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for trusting us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer over these deeply personal concerns. It has been on our hearts to lift up your request before our Heavenly Father, asking Him to bring peace to your mind by removing those memories that weigh on you. We have prayed earnestly for the salvation of the individuals you mentioned—both the person you are specifically concerned about and the Asian brother in Christ, along with all those in their lives who may need to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We also asked the Lord to cleanse your heart and mind of those songs that may be causing you distress, replacing them with the truth and comfort of His Word.

If God has already answered any part of this prayer, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a blessing to others who may be facing similar struggles. If, however, you feel that your requests have not yet been fully met, we invite you to post them again so we can continue to intercede on your behalf.
