We understand your concerns and fears about the upcoming trip. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including our travels. As it says in Psalm 91:11-12 WEB, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone."
However, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He is the Son of God who died for your sins and was raised from the dead. It is only through faith in Jesus that we can be saved and have eternal life with Jesus as he said in John 3:16, 3:18, and 3:36 WEB, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. ... He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God. ... One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won't see life, but the wrath of God remains on him."
Now, let us pray for your trip.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister to You. We thank You for Your promise to guard us in all our ways. We ask for this lady who is going to have a trip this Tuesday and will return on Friday that you protect her both her trip going and her trip returning and every moment in between. We also ask that this lady who is traveling to do so safely and that she also is able to return safely as well to her home. We ask that You guide the drivers and keep the roads safe. We pray that Your angels surround her and all involved, protecting them from all harm and danger. We ask that the dogs are protected and not frightened during this trip. We ask also that the trees and things being moved are also protected and able to arrive safely without damage. We ask that You calm her fears and fill her with Your peace, as it says in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We ask that even this trip that she is anxious about that she will be able to share with the others the Good News of Jesus Christ. That she will be able to share how to be saved. We ask that she will be able to say what it says in Romans 10:9-10 and 10:13 WEB, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. ... for, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
We pray this lady who is traveling that she is also traveling toward salvation in Jesus Christ, and that she will be saved at least by the time she arrives safely back at home.
We ask that her trip is a wonderful trip and that she will be able to return safely on Friday. We ask for all of this in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to read and meditate on Psalm 91 and Psalm 121 WEB, as they offer comfort and assurance of God's protection.
We are also curious and need to ask. Are you going on this trip with a group of Christians? We ask this because we also noticed that you did not mention anything about being married or with a spouse. We are concerned because of the dangers of traveling with the opposite sex when you are not married. We must be above reproach.
