🎪 Revival, Washed by Word to Be Pure Bride 👰 Eph 5:26-33, Sanctification of Holy Spirit 💦Heb 12:14, 💫 Ministry of Reconciliation 2 Cor 5:19 🫂 (Vertically -- reconcile God and Humanity... AND Horizontally -- Restoration between Churches, Ministries, Family and Friends -- Unity, John 17:1-25...

🧎🏻 Father, we thank You for the testimony of past revivals and even reformations, for revivalists and reformers, patriarchs, apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, Eph 4:11-15. We ask for revival and reformation in ourselves, our churches, families, friends and even all peoples, 1 Tim 2:1-2, for this pleases You, since You desire all people groups and positions to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4.

📖 Jesus, revive and reform us, our pastors, leaders, churches, cities, Jer 29:7, regions, states, nations, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Indeed as You live, let all the earth be filled with Your glory, Numbers 11:24, Ps 72:19, even as the waters cover the seas, Isa 11:9. Hab 2:14. Shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, enlighten the eyes of our understanding, Eph 1:17-18, to love You with ALL our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30-31, nd our neighbors as ourselves. Let us be sanctified and washed in The Truth of the Water of Your Word, John 17:17, Eph 5:25-26, until You present us to Yourself as Your glorious church with no spot or wrinkle or any such blemish, Eph 5:26-31, this mystery is great, but I speak of Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33.

💨 Let it be, Holy Spirit, that we participate with Your sanctifying work, 1 Pet 1:2, so we may by The Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, Rom 8:13, and thus by not by our might, nor power, but by My Spirit, says The LORD, Zech 4:6, may we walk in the works You prepared in advance for us to do, Eph 2:10, and thus make ourselves ready as The Bride for Jesus Christ Our Husband, Rev 19:7, and receive the final icing of white linens, pure and bright, for the fine linens are the righteous deeds of the saints, Rev 19:8...

Through Jesus Christ The Mediator of this New Covenant, 1 Tim 2:5, inaugurated by the offering of Yourself once for all, Heb 12:24, we offer these prayers with thanksgiving for obtaining the eternal inheritance, Heb 9:15, in advance, Mk 11:24, for by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, so we may obey the eternal Gospel to fear God and give You glory, Rev 14:6-7, for if You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with You is forgiveness, that You mayest be feared, Ps 130:3-4.

Lastly we thank You that You were in Christ by The Fullness of The Spirit without measure, Jn 3:34, reconciling the world back to Yourself, not counting our sins against us, and have given us the same ministry of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. Help us do the work of an evangelist, and thus fulfill that ministry, 2 Tim 4:5. May we be serve You in our spirit in the preaching of the Gospel of Your Son, Rom 1:9, that we might bear much fruit, Jn 15:7-8, not only of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, but a harvest of souls in order to bring others from the nations into Your sheepfold, Jn 10:16, helping You as Your helpmeets, Gen 2:17-18, Eph 5:32-33, gathering and calling others to come, Luke 14:21-23, to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, Isa 25:6, Matt 22:1-2, and to the discipleship of sanctification by continually knowing Truth by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, Matt 28:19-20, and continuing to patiently continue to call all of us to the holiness without which no one will see The Lord, Heb 12:14, as Your holy people, Your own possession, called out of darkness into Your marvelous light, enabling and emboldening us with Power from on High to be witnesses, Acts 1:8, proclaiming Your excellencies 1 Peter 2:9. Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus and Thank You Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you wholeheartedly in this cry for revival and reformation and we say amen to your desire to be washed by the Word to be presented as a pure Bride to Christ.

We are stirred by your hunger for both vertical reconciliation with God and horizontal restoration between churches, ministries, families and friends, for this reflects the heart of Jesus who prayed that we all may be one that the world may believe, John 17:21. We agree that true revival is not mere emotion but sanctification by the Holy Spirit and cleansing by the water of the Word, that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without defect, Eph 5:26-27, and that without holiness no one will see the Lord, Heb 12:14.

We love how you have anchored this prayer in thanksgiving for the gifts Christ gave to His church, the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, Eph 4:11-12, and in the promise that God desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. This gives us confidence to pray for ourselves, our churches, our cities and our nation when we seek the welfare of the city where He has placed us, Jer 29:7, knowing that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea, Hab 2:14.

We pray together with you now.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy that You do not mark our iniquities against us, for if You, Lord, should mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand, but there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared, Ps 130:3-4. We thank You that You were in Christ reconciling the world to Yourself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. We ask You to revive us again according to Your loving kindness, Ps 119:88, and to shine in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, and to open the eyes of our understanding, Eph 1:18, so that we may love You with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength, and love our neighbor as ourselves, Mark 12:30-31.

Lord Jesus, You are the mediator of the new covenant, 1 Tim 2:5, and by one offering You have perfected forever those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14. Wash us and sanctify us in Your truth, Your word is truth, John 17:17. Make us ready as Your Bride who has made herself ready, and clothe us in fine linen, bright and pure, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints, Rev 19:7-8. Help us to walk not by might nor by power but by Your Spirit, Zech 4:6, putting to death the deeds of the body by the Spirit, Rom 8:13, and walking in the good works which You prepared before that we would walk in them, Eph 2:10.

Holy Spirit, we yield to Your sanctifying work, chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father in sanctification of the Spirit, 1 Pet 1:2. Empower us from on high to be Your witnesses, Acts 1:8, to do the work of an evangelist and fulfill our ministry, 2 Tim 4:5, serving with our spirit in the Good News of Your Son, Rom 1:9, bearing fruit that remains, John 15:8, and the fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness and self control, Gal 5:22-23. Gather many from every nation into Your fold, for You have other sheep which are not of this fold and they also must be brought, John 10:16, that they may come to the marriage feast, Matt 22:2, and be discipled to observe all things You commanded, Matt 28:20, continuing in Your word to truly be Your disciples and know the truth that sets us free, John 8:31-32.

We ask this with thanksgiving, believing we receive what we ask in prayer, Mark 11:24, through Jesus Christ who is our only access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and whatever we ask in His name He will do that the Father may be glorified in the Son, John 14:13. Let all the earth be filled with Your glory, Ps 72:19, and let Your church be a holy people, a people for Your own possession, that we may proclaim the excellence of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light, 1 Pet 2:9, in Jesus name, amen.

We are grateful for the burden you shared for revival, for a church washed and made ready, and for reconciliation both with God and among His people. Your prayer reflects a deep love for Christ and for His body, and we join you in asking the Lord to keep that hunger alive.

What you described about being set apart and then being made more like Jesus over time is how we understand sanctification too. There is the moment we are set apart as His at salvation, and then a lifelong, gradual process of growing, with highs and lows. It happens not by our own effort alone but as we walk in dependence on the Holy Spirit, and it looks a little different for each person. The ordinary means God uses are steady time in His Word, prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers who can encourage and sharpen us.

We also hear your heart for reconciliation, that active commitment to restore love and trust where things have been broken. That work is difficult and takes honesty, humility, and keeping Christ at the center, and it is often best pursued together with trusted pastors and mature believers in your local church.

One simple next step that may help is to stay rooted in a local community where you can continue in the Word and prayer together and mutually encourage one another toward holiness and unity.

Father, we thank You for this brother or sister who longs to see Your name glorified. Wash and renew us by Your Word, form us more into the likeness of Your Son by Your Spirit, and make us faithful in the ministry of reconciliation You have given us. Draw families, churches and communities toward unity in Christ, and help us walk faithfully in the good works You have prepared for us. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing for revival and for a pure Bride washed by the water of the Word is a longing that God Himself has planted, and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace.

We pray with you that the Lord will revive His people again, for a true revival is caused by the Holy Spirit and by Him alone. It is not got up by machinery, which may often be the greatest hindrance to true godliness, but it comes when God pours water upon him that is thirsty and floods upon the dry ground. Wherever the Spirit comes there will be life in the church and life in the ministry, life in prayer, life in effort, life in holiness, life in brotherly love, and then the calling out of many converts. We ask the Father to do this work in you, in your family, in your church and city, and to fill the earth with the knowledge of His glory as the waters cover the sea, all to the praise of His own name.

We ask also for that sanctification of which you speak. By the will of God we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Incarnate God by offering His own blood bore the curse and endured the wrath, and has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified, so that what we now do in His name can be accepted. This great work must be applied to us by the Holy Spirit, who takes away all hope of being sanctified by any means of our own and takes of the things of Christ and reveals them to us. May He so work in you that you put to death the deeds of the flesh, not by might nor by power but by My Spirit, says the Lord, and walk in the good works which He prepared beforehand for you to do, making ready as a Bride adorned for her Husband, clothed in fine linen bright and pure, which is the righteous deeds of the saints.

In this we remember that without holiness, practical, personal, active, vital holiness, no one shall see the Lord. This is not a pretense of sinless perfection, for no one who knows his own heart pretends to be perfectly conformed to God's will, but it is a real work that deals with the thoughts and intents, the purposes and motives, when the heart is set on God and beats with love to Him. Morality may clean the outside of the cup, but holiness goes into the very caverns of the heart. We pray that you may follow this holiness and persevere in it, for if grace has truly changed you, you are radically and lastingly changed, and they shall not depart from Me, says the Lord. He keeps His people to the end, and that keeping is a keeping in holiness.

We join you too in the ministry of reconciliation. We give thanks that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, the one Mediator of the new covenant who by His single offering obtained an eternal inheritance, and that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting our trespasses against us. Vertically we are reconciled to God only through His blood, and horizontally we are called to walk with God and with one another in unity, as Christ prayed that His people may be one. That unity is a unity in the truth, washed and sanctified by the Word, where the mystery of Christ and the Church is seen. In that mystery we hold fast the historic and biblical pattern that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that the sexual union and the living together that belongs to it are to be kept within that covenant alone, as a picture of the faithful love between Christ and His Bride.

May the Lord enlighten the eyes of your understanding to know the hope to which He has called you, and to love Him with all your heart and soul and mind and strength, and your neighbor as yourself. May He make you to bear much fruit, both the fruit of the Spirit and a harvest of souls gathered to the marriage supper of the Lamb, as you serve Him in your spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son and continue in His Word, patiently calling all to that holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

We commend you to Him who is able to keep you, praying that this revival you seek may begin first in your own heart and spread for the glory of Christ alone, in whose name we pray, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your longing for revival and for the Church to be washed and made pure is good and right, and we join you in this prayer with thanksgiving.

We give thanks that the gospel is truly good tidings, not merely words, but the removal of punishment and the remission of sins, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, and adoption and an inheritance of heaven and fellowship with the Son of God. What was once war between God and our nature has been brought to an end through Christ, the curse blotted out, Paradise opened, and reconciliation accomplished. From this reconciliation all other blessings flow.

We pray with you that you and your household and the churches in your city and beyond would be washed by the water of the Word, as it is written that Christ loved the church and gave himself for her to sanctify her, that he might present her to himself glorious, without spot or wrinkle. This sanctification is not from our own good deeds but from the loving kindness of God, the laver and purification by which we are called to be saints. It is a new creation, not of earth only, but created in righteousness and holiness of truth, that we might be sons through baptism and grace.

We ask the Lord to grant you to walk in that holiness without which no one will see the Lord. By the Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, not by might nor by power but by His Spirit, that you may walk in the good works prepared beforehand for you. The fruit of this walk is holiness itself, and its end is everlasting life, with confidence before God. Part of this holiness is chaste and orderly living. Marriage is honorable and pure as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and it preserves the holiness given by faith, keeping us from defilement. Whether married or unmarried, we are called to remain pure and to keep the body as a vessel of honor.

We pray also for the ministry of reconciliation which you mentioned. Vertically, God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting our sins against us. Horizontally, the very name of the Church means not separation but unity and concord, one body not only in one place but throughout the world. May God make you peacemakers, following peace with all people, and may He knit together families, churches and ministries in truth, that the world may see His glory as the waters cover the sea, and that the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ may shine in many hearts.

We ask for boldness to do the work of an evangelist and to fulfill this ministry, to serve God in your spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son, that you may bear fruit, both the fruit of the Holy Spirit and a harvest of souls gathered to the sheepfold and called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. Continue in His Word, that you may truly be disciples and know the truth that sanctifies and makes free.

Through Jesus Christ, the one Mediator of the new covenant who by a single offering has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified, we offer these prayers with thanksgiving, trusting that He who has obtained for us an eternal inheritance will present us faultless. May grace and peace be multiplied to you, and may the Lord keep you blameless until His coming. Amen.
