Father, we thank You for the testimony of past revivals and even reformations, for revivalists and reformers, patriarchs, apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, Eph 4:11-15. We ask for revival and reformation in ourselves, our churches, families, friends and even all peoples, 1 Tim 2:1-2, for this pleases You, since You desire all people groups and positions to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4.

Jesus, revive and reform us, our pastors, leaders, churches, cities, Jer 29:7, regions, states, nations, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Indeed as You live, let all the earth be filled with Your glory, Numbers 11:24, Ps 72:19, even as the waters cover the seas, Isa 11:9. Hab 2:14. Shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, enlighten the eyes of our understanding, Eph 1:17-18, to love You with ALL our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30-31, nd our neighbors as ourselves. Let us be sanctified and washed in The Truth of the Water of Your Word, John 17:17, Eph 5:25-26, until You present us to Yourself as Your glorious church with no spot or wrinkle or any such blemish, Eph 5:26-31, this mystery is great, but I speak of Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33.

Let it be, Holy Spirit, that we participate with Your sanctifying work, 1 Pet 1:2, so we may by The Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, Rom 8:13, and thus by not by our might, nor power, but by My Spirit, says The LORD, Zech 4:6, may we walk in the works You prepared in advance for us to do, Eph 2:10, and thus make ourselves ready as The Bride for Jesus Christ Our Husband, Rev 19:7, and receive the final icing of white linens, pure and bright, for the fine linens are the righteous deeds of the saints, Rev 19:8...

Through Jesus Christ The Mediator of this New Covenant, 1 Tim 2:5, inaugurated by the offering of Yourself once for all, Heb 12:24, we offer these prayers with thanksgiving for obtaining the eternal inheritance, Heb 9:15, in advance, Mk 11:24, for by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, so we may obey the eternal Gospel to fear God and give You glory, Rev 14:6-7, for if You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with You is forgiveness, that You mayest be feared, Ps 130:3-4.

Lastly we thank You that You were in Christ by The Fullness of The Spirit without measure, Jn 3:34, reconciling the world back to Yourself, not counting our sins against us, and have given us the same ministry of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. Help us do the work of an evangelist, and thus fulfill that ministry, 2 Tim 4:5. May we be serve You in our spirit in the preaching of the Gospel of Your Son, Rom 1:9, that we might bear much fruit, Jn 15:7-8, not only of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, but a harvest of souls in order to bring others from the nations into Your sheepfold, Jn 10:16, helping You as Your helpmeets, Gen 2:17-18, Eph 5:32-33, gathering and calling others to come, Luke 14:21-23, to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, Isa 25:6, Matt 22:1-2, and to the discipleship of sanctification by continually knowing Truth by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, Matt 28:19-20, and continuing to patiently continue to call all of us to the holiness without which no one will see The Lord, Heb 12:14, as Your holy people, Your own possession, called out of darkness into Your marvelous light, enabling and emboldening us with Power from on High to be witnesses, Acts 1:8, proclaiming Your excellencies 1 Peter 2:9. Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus and Thank You Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in this deep hunger for revival and reformation and we say amen to your cry to be washed by the Word to be made a pure Bride for Christ.

Your prayer reflects the heart of God who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4, and who calls His church to be holy as He is holy. We love your focus on both vertical reconciliation with God and horizontal restoration between churches, ministries, families and friends, for this is the ministry of reconciliation entrusted to us, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. That same heart was in Jesus when He prayed that we all may be one, even as You, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that you sent me, John 17:21.

We are stirred by your longing to be sanctified and washed in the truth of the water of the Word. Scripture teaches us that Christ loved the assembly and gave himself up for it, that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without defect, Eph 5:26-27. This is indeed a great mystery concerning Christ and the assembly, Eph 5:32, and we embrace it with you. We also join you in pursuing the holiness without which no one will see the Lord, Heb 12:14, knowing that this sanctification is through the Spirit and belief in the truth, 2 Thess 2:13, and that we are elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, that we may obey Jesus Christ, 1 Pet 1:2. It is not by our might nor by power but by His Spirit, Zech 4:6, that we put to death the deeds of the body and walk in the good works which God prepared in advance for us to walk in, Eph 2:10.

We agree with you for revival in ourselves first, then in our pastors, leaders, churches, cities, regions and nations, and for the earth to be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea, Hab 2:14. We pray that God would sanctify us in the truth, for His word is truth, John 17:17, and enlighten the eyes of our hearts to know the hope of His calling, Eph 1:18, so that we love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength, and love our neighbor as ourselves, Mark 12:30-31.

So we pray together with you.

Father, we thank You for every testimony of past revivals and reformations and for the gifts You gave to the church, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the equipping of the saints, Eph 4:11-12. We ask now for fresh revival and reformation in us, in our families, in our churches and among all peoples. Lord Jesus, revive us and shine in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in Your face, 2 Cor 4:6. Wash us daily by Your Word until we are without spot or wrinkle, and make us ready as Your Bride, adorned for You, for Your bride has made herself ready and it was given to her to be clothed in fine linen, bright and pure, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints, Rev 19:7-8. Holy Spirit, we yield to Your sanctifying work, help us by Your power to put to death the deeds of the flesh, Rom 8:13, and to walk in holiness. Make us faithful in the ministry of reconciliation, to do the work of an evangelist and to serve You with our spirit in the Good News of Your Son, Rom 1:9, so that we bear much fruit, John 15:8, and see souls gathered into Your fold, John 10:16, and discipled to observe all You commanded, Matt 28:20, continuing in Your Word so we will know the truth and the truth will make us free, John 8:32. Fill us with power from on high to be Your witnesses, Acts 1:8, and to proclaim the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light, 1 Pet 2:9.

We thank You that by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, and that we can come through Jesus Christ the mediator of the new covenant, Heb 12:24, with confidence. We offer this prayer with thanksgiving, trusting You to answer, for with You is forgiveness that You may be feared, Ps 130:4. Let Your glory fill all the earth as You have promised, Ps 72:19. We ask all this in the mighty and only name by which we are saved, Jesus Christ our Lord, John 14:13, amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer. Your longing for Jesus to make His people clean, holy and ready, and to bring reconciliation vertically with God and horizontally among churches, ministries and families, is beautiful and close to the Lord's own heart.

What stays with us is how you hold both God's work and our response together. We are set apart by what Christ has done for us, and we are also being formed day by day as we walk with Him. That forming happens gradually, almost imperceptibly, with highs and lows over a lifetime. It is not by our own striving, but as we stay near Him through His Word, through prayer, and through worship with other believers, the Spirit shapes us to look more like Jesus. There is no single formula, because God works uniquely in each person and each congregation.

If it helps, one simple next step we have seen bear fruit is to keep this large vision but narrow the daily practice. Choose one place where you are asking for reconciliation or renewal most urgently, perhaps your own church or family, and invite one or two trusted believers to pray with you regularly for that one place, continuing in the Word together.

Father, we thank You for the hunger expressed here for Your glory to fill the earth. Keep washing and shaping us by Your Word, deepen our love for You and for our neighbors, and make us faithful in the ministry of reconciliation You have given us. Form us as a people ready for Christ, bearing fruit that remains, in Jesus' name, Amen.

We have joined with you in this prayer for revival, and our hearts are stirred by your longing to be washed by the water of the Word and presented as a pure bride to Christ.

What a noble position grace has lifted believers into, for by the will of God we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Incarnate God by offering His own blood and bearing the curse in His own body has effected the purpose of the everlasting Father in setting His chosen apart and making them holiness unto the Lord. The Father joins in the verdict of His Son that it is finished, all the will of God for the sanctification of His people is accomplished. Yet this work must be applied to us by the Holy Spirit, who takes away all hope of being sanctified by any means of our own, brings us to see our need of cleansing and reconciliation, and takes of the things of Christ and reveals them to us.

Therefore we pray with you that you may follow that practical, personal, active, vital holiness without which no one shall see the Lord. The text does not say perfection of holiness, for no one who knows his own heart pretends to be perfectly conformed to God's will, but it does demand true holiness, the opposite of impurity, not merely the cleaning of the outside of the cup while the heart remains full of wickedness. If our heart is right in God's statutes, despite all the imperfections we bemoan, we have holiness wherein we may rejoice, and we pray, Finish then Your new creation, pure and spotless let us be. This perseverance is perseverance in holiness, for if the grace of God has really changed you, you are radically and lastingly changed. The covenant is of pure promise and pure grace, and everything that can be supposed to be a condition is provided therein, so that we shall not depart from Him.

We also cry with you, will You not revive us again. If a revival be true and real it is caused by the Holy Spirit and by Him alone. We cannot get up a revival by machinery, for a church cannot be revived unless God revives it. Wherever the Spirit comes there will be life in the church and life in the ministry, life in prayer, life in effort, life in holiness, life in brotherly love, and the calling out of many converts. The result of such a visitation is not only the conversion of men but the praise of God, and that revival brings forth most fruit that gives to God the most glory. We pray that His divine promptings would urge you to greater consecration and superior holiness, and that His divine assistances would lead you onward in the path of a higher life than you have yet attained.

We ask the Lord to make you ready as the bride for her Husband, walking by the Spirit putting to death the deeds of the flesh, not by might nor by power but by His Spirit, walking in the good works which He prepared in advance for you to do, that your fine linen may be seen to be the righteous deeds of the saints wrought by grace. And we ask that He would give you the ministry of reconciliation in its fullness, vertically in preaching Christ who reconciles the world to Himself not counting sins against those who believe, and horizontally in the unity for which our Lord prayed, a unity grounded in the truth of His Word. Let brotherly love abound, yet never apart from truth, for the bride of Christ leans upon the Lord alone.

May the Lord shine in your heart to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, enlighten the eyes of your understanding, and keep you continuing in His Word that you may know the truth and be sanctified thereby. May He fill the earth with the knowledge of His glory as the waters cover the sea, beginning in your own heart, your family and your church, and extending to your city and nation for the sake of His name.

We commend you to the Mediator of the new covenant who by a single offering has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, and we ask all these things with thanksgiving through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality.
