Beloved
🧎🏻 Father, we thank You for the testimony of past revivals and even reformations, for revivalists and reformers, patriarchs, apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. We ask for revival and reformation in ourselves, our churches, families, friends and even all peoples, 1 Tim 2:1-2, for this pleases You, since You desire all people groups and positions to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4.

📖 Jesus, revive and reform us, our pastors, leaders, churches, cities, regions, states, nations and indeed as You live, let all the earth be filled with Your glory, Numbers 11:24, Ps 72:19, even as the waters cover the seas, Isa 11:9. Hab 2:14. Shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, enlighten the eyes of our understanding, Eph 1:17-18, love Y and let us be sanctified and washed in The Truth of the Water of Your Word, John 17:17, Eph 5:25-26, until You present us to Yourself as Your glorious church with no spot or wrinkle or any such blemish, Eph 5:27.

💨 Let it be, Holy Spirit, that we participate with Your sanctifying work, 1 Pet 1:2, so we may by The Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, Rom 8:13, and thus by not by our might, nor power, but by My Spirit, says The LORD, Zech 4:6, may we walk in the works You prepared in advance for us to do, Eph 2:10, and thus make ourselves ready as The Bride for Jesus Christ Our Husband, Rev 19:7, and receive the final capstone of white linens, pure and bright, for the fine linens are the righteous deeds of the saints, Rev 19:8...

It is through Jesus Christ The Mediator of this New Covenant, 1 Tim 2:5, inaugurated by the offering of Yourself once for all, Heb 12:24, we offer these prayers with thanksgiving for obtaining the eternal inheritance, Heb 9:15, in advance, Mk 11:24, for by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, so we may obey the eternal Gospel to fear God and give You glory, Rev 14:6-7, for if You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with You is forgiveness, that You may be feared, Ps 130:3-4.

And lastly we thank You that You were in Christ by The Fullness of The Spirit without measure, Jn 3:34, reconciling the world back to Yourself, not counting our sins against us, and have given us the same ministry of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. Help us do the work of an evangelist, and thus fulfill that ministry, 2 Tim 4:5. May we be serve You in our spirit in the preaching of the Gospel of Your Son, Rom 1:9, that we might bear much fruit, Jn 15:7-8, not only of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, but a harvest of souls in order to bring others from the nations into Your sheepfold, Jn 10:16, helping You as Your helpmeets, gathering and calling others to come, Luke 14:21-23, to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, Isa 25:6, Matt 22:1-2, and to the discipleship of sanctification by continually knowing Truth by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, and continuing to patiently continue to call all of us to the holiness without which no one will see The Lord, Heb 12:14, as Your holy people, Your own possession, called out of darkness into Your marvelous light, enabling and emboldening us with Power from on High to be witnesses, Acts 1:8, proclaiming Your excellencies 1 Peter 2:9. Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus and Thank You Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join our hearts with yours in this passionate cry for revival, reformation, and sanctification, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word. Your prayer is a beautiful alignment with Scripture, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting these petitions before the throne of grace.

We thank God for the promise in Ephesians 5:26-27, that Christ gave Himself for the church "that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish." This is the heart of revival, not just emotional experiences, but a deep, abiding transformation through the Word and the Spirit. The sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit is essential, as Hebrews 12:14 reminds us, "Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord." Without holiness, no one will see God, and this pursuit must be our daily commitment.

We also stand on 2 Corinthians 5:19, which declares, "God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and he has committed to us the word of reconciliation." This ministry of reconciliation is not just for pastors or evangelists, it is the calling of every believer. We must be ambassadors of Christ, sharing the Gospel with boldness and compassion, inviting others into the same transformative relationship with Jesus that we ourselves have experienced.

Yet, as we pray for revival, we must also examine our own hearts. Are we truly walking in repentance and obedience? Are our churches reflecting the purity and holiness of Christ, or have we allowed compromise to creep in? Revival begins with us, individually and corporately. We must be willing to let the Holy Spirit expose areas of sin, pride, or lukewarmness in our lives and in our congregations. As 1 Peter 1:15-16 declares, "But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'"

We also lift up the leaders of the church, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and all who serve in ministry. May they be filled afresh with the Holy Spirit, walking in wisdom, humility, and boldness. May they preach the Word in season and out of season, not compromising the truth for the sake of popularity or comfort. As 2 Timothy 4:2-5 exhorts, "Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage, with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry."

Let us also pray for the nations, that the glory of the Lord would cover the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14). May God raise up men and women who will stand for truth, even in the face of persecution, and who will not bow to the idols of this world. May the Gospel penetrate every culture, every people group, and every heart, drawing all men to Christ.

We rebuke the spirit of complacency and lukewarmness that has crept into many churches today. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that say revival is not possible, that holiness is outdated, or that the Gospel is not enough. We declare that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). We declare that the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead is alive and active in us, empowering us to walk in victory and to proclaim the Gospel with boldness.

Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). We thank You for the Holy Spirit, who convicts us of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). We thank You for Your Word, which is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). We ask that You would pour out Your Spirit in a fresh and powerful way upon Your people. Revive us, O Lord, and let Your glory fill the earth!

Lord Jesus, we ask that You would shine the light of Your truth into every dark corner of our lives, our churches, and our nations. Expose the works of darkness and bring them to light. Let Your Word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Let us be a people who are washed by the water of Your Word, sanctified by Your Spirit, and presented to You as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish.

Holy Spirit, we invite You to move in power among us. Fill us afresh with Your presence. Empower us to walk in holiness, to love with Your love, and to proclaim the Gospel with boldness. Let us be instruments of reconciliation, bringing others into the kingdom of God. Let us bear much fruit for Your glory, fruit that will last (John 15:16).

We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church (Matthew 16:18). We declare that the harvest is plentiful, and the workers are few, but You, Lord, are raising up laborers for the harvest (Luke 10:2). We declare that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for answering according to Your will. We trust in Your faithfulness, Your power, and Your love. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Your prayer stirs something deep in us, a shared longing for the church to be washed clean, radiant, and alive in Christ, and for every people to know His salvation. That ache for revival isn’t just your own; it reflects the Spirit’s own groaning within you. We stand with you in that holy hope.

What anchors us is that sanctification isn’t a one-time event or a frantic self-improvement project. It’s a patient, daily walk where we learn to abide in Christ, letting His Word and the Spirit reshape us from the inside out. Growth often comes quietly, through steady prayer, time in Scripture, and even through our ordinary struggles, as we cooperate with what God is already doing (Phil. 2:12, 13). The bride isn’t made ready overnight, but through a lifetime of faithful steps.

A practical way to fan these flames together might be to gather a few like-hearted friends for regular, unhurried prayer, not a program, but a simple rhythm of seeking God’s face for yourselves, your churches, and the world. Many revivals have been born in such quiet gatherings. And as you go about your days, look for one natural opening to be an “introducer” of Jesus, not a sermon, just a genuine offer of hope when someone mentions a struggle.

Father, thank You for the desire You have placed in us to see Your bride pure and Your glory fill the earth. Continue Your deep, sanctifying work in us by Your Spirit. Help us to walk daily in the good works You’ve prepared, and give us boldness and tenderness to share the good news with those who don’t yet know You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You have been praying great things, haven’t you? Praying until your heart has grown wings and taken flight over the whole earth, crying out for revival, for reformation, for a church made pure and ready for her Lord. I can see the longing in your words, it is like a fire shut up in your bones. You want to see holiness sweep through your own soul, through your family, through the leaders and the people of God, and out into every nation. That is a noble desire. The very fact that you are asking for such things tells me the Spirit of God is stirring you, for no one seeks what he does not first value, and no one values holiness who has not tasted something of it in his own heart.

But now, in the quiet, let me put your hand into something very sure and steady. You have been thinking much about the bride making herself ready. I want you to see who it is that truly makes her ready. Look at those words you love from the Ephesians: Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor. Do you see where the strength lies? Not in the bride’s own scrubbing and fretting, but in his finished sacrifice, once for all, and in his present, patient washing by the Word. He is the one who will present you faultless. He has already, by a single offering, perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. The work is deep and done, and yet it continues. You are not building a pyramid to heaven by your prayers and your striving; you are resting on a Rock that is higher than you, even Christ, and the Spirit is carving his likeness upon you as the years go by.

I know you fear, sometimes, that you will never be holy enough, that the spots and wrinkles will remain, that you will miss the mark. But consider your heavenly Father’s will. It is an eternal will, as fixed as the stars in their courses. He has purposed to have a holy people, and he does not begin a good work and then leave off. He has put his fear into your heart, and that is the seal of an everlasting covenant. That deep shudder at sin, that hunger for righteousness, these are not natural to the dust we come from; they are the fingerprints of the Spirit upon your soul. And he who gave you the hunger will surely give you the bread. Do you think he would draw you to long for purity and then mock you by leaving you in your mire? Never! The God of peace himself will sanctify you completely, and keep your whole spirit and soul and body blameless until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.

Your prayer for revival among the nations is like a seed sown in spring soil. You look out, and the ground seems bare, and the old stems of last year are still a grey tangle. But underneath, life is stirring. The promise stands: “I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground.” The world is dry ground indeed, parched and cracked and barren. But the Holy Spirit is a river, not a trickle. He delights to flood the dry places. There have been days before when the hills melted and the reaper was overtaken by the plowman, days of sudden, surprising ingathering. The arm of the Lord is not shortened. And my comfort for you is this: you are already walking in a measure of the blessing you seek. You are not crying for a stranger; you are calling upon your own Husband, your own Head, your own indwelling Lord. The thirst you feel was created to be satisfied by him.

Think of a child walking through a city at night, holding her father’s hand. She does not see the whole map of streets, nor does she know the hour of arrival, but she knows the hand, and she walks on with a quiet heart. So it is with you. You are agreed with God, not perfectly, but truly. And because you are agreed, you walk with him. And because you walk with him, your little life is already woven into his vast purposes of mercy. Every prayer you breathe for the nations, every groan for purity, every sigh for the lost, these are the works he prepared beforehand for you to walk in. They are not wasted. They are not in vain. The fine linen is being woven even now, thread by thread, as you abide in him.

So do not let the greatness of the vision crush you. Do not measure the answer by the clock. The Bridegroom knows his time, and he will not delay beyond the appointed moment. Your part is to keep near him, to keep your ear open to his Word, and to trust his washing. The Word is truth, and that truth is a cleansing flood. Let it run through the chambers of your soul daily, and it will do its own work wonderfully. He will present you faultless, you, with all your present infirmities, faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. That is my solid hope for you.

Let us pray together now.

Lord Jesus, we thank you that you do not leave us to sanctify ourselves. You have loved us, and washed us, and you will present us. Keep this dear soul steady in the swell of these great longings. Let the dew of your Spirit fall on every dry place within and without. Bring in the harvest of souls according to your mighty will, and let your bride be made ready, not by noise or by strain, but by the quiet, powerful washing of water through the Word. Unto you, O Christ, be glory, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and evermore. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
