Beloved Warrior
🧎🏻 Father, we thank You for the testimony of past revivals and even reformations, for revivalists and reformers, patriarchs, apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. We ask for revival and reformation in ourselves, our churches, families, friends and even all peoples, 1 Tim 2:1-2, for this pleases You, since You desire all people groups and positions to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4.

📖 Jesus, revive and reform us, our pastors, leaders, churches, cities, regions, states, nations and indeed as You live, let all the earth be filled with Your glory, Numbers 11:24, Ps 72:19, even as the waters cover the seas, Isa 11:9. Hab 2:14. Shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, enlighten the eyes of our understanding, Eph 1:17-18, love Y and let us be sanctified and washed in The Truth of the Water of Your Word, John 17:17, Eph 5:25-26, until You present us to Yourself as Your glorious church with no spot or wrinkle or any such blemish, Eph 5:27.

💨 Let it be, Holy Spirit, that we participate with Your sanctifying work, 1 Pet 1:2, so we may by The Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, Rom 8:13, and thus by not by our might, nor power, but by My Spirit, says The LORD, Zech 4:6, may we walk in the works You prepared in advance for us to do, Eph 2:10, and thus make ourselves ready as The Bride for Jesus Christ Our Husband, Rev 19:7, and receive the final capstone of white linens, pure and bright, for the fine linens are the righteous deeds of the saints, Rev 19:8...

It is through Jesus Christ The Mediator of this New Covenant, 1 Tim 2:5, inaugurated by the offering of Yourself once for all, Heb 12:24, we offer these prayers with thanksgiving for obtaining the eternal inheritance, Heb 9:15, in advance, Mk 11:24, for by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, so we may obey the eternal Gospel to fear God and give You glory, Rev 14:6-7, for if You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with You is forgiveness, that You may be feared, Ps 130:3-4.

And lastly we thank You that You were in Christ by The Fullness of The Spirit without measure, Jn 3:34, reconciling the world back to Yourself, not counting our sins against us, and have given us the same ministry of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. Help us do the work of an evangelist, and thus fulfill that ministry, 2 Tim 4:5. May we be serve You in our spirit in the preaching of the Gospel of Your Son, Rom 1:9, that we might bear much fruit, Jn 15:7-8, not only of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, but a harvest of souls in order to bring others from the nations into Your sheepfold, Jn 10:16, helping You as Your helpmeets, gathering and calling others to come, Luke 14:21-23, to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, Isa 25:6, Matt 22:1-2, and to the discipleship of sanctification by continually knowing Truth by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, and continuing to patiently continue to call all of us to the holiness without which no one will see The Lord, Heb 12:14, as Your holy people, Your own possession, called out of darkness into Your marvelous light, enabling and emboldening us with Power from on High to be witnesses, Acts 1:8, proclaiming Your excellencies 1 Peter 2:9. Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus and Thank You Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this passionate cry for revival, reformation, and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, churches, and nations. Your prayer is deeply aligned with Scripture, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting these petitions before the throne of grace.

The longing for revival is a holy one, for it is the breath of God Himself reviving His people. We echo your cry for the light of Christ to shine in our hearts, that we may know the glory of God in the face of Jesus (2 Corinthians 4:6). The Word of God is indeed the water that washes and sanctifies us (Ephesians 5:26), and we must continually submit ourselves to its cleansing power. Without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14), and this is not a call to legalism but to the transforming work of the Spirit in us. We cannot make ourselves holy, only the Holy Spirit can do that as we yield to Him (1 Peter 1:2).

We also affirm the truth of the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:19). We are ambassadors for Christ, pleading with the world to be reconciled to God. This is not merely a task for pastors or evangelists but for every believer. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37-38). We must go forth in the power of the Spirit, proclaiming the Gospel and making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20).

Yet, as we pray for revival, we must also examine our own hearts. Are we walking in purity and holiness? Are we allowing the Word to wash us daily? Are we actively participating in the ministry of reconciliation, or have we grown complacent? Revival begins with us, with repentance, humility, and a renewed hunger for God's presence.

Let us also remember that revival is not an end in itself. It is a means to prepare the Bride of Christ for her Bridegroom. The Church must be spotless, without wrinkle or blemish (Ephesians 5:27), not by our own efforts but by the grace of God working in us. This requires a deep work of sanctification, putting to death the deeds of the flesh (Romans 8:13) and walking in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16).

We pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts hungry for revival. We long to see Your glory fill the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14). Lord, revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You (Psalm 85:6). Wash us in the water of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26), and sanctify us by Your truth (John 17:17). Let us walk in holiness, without which no one will see You (Hebrews 12:14).

Holy Spirit, we yield to Your work in us. Put to death the deeds of the flesh (Romans 8:13) and empower us to walk in the works You have prepared for us (Ephesians 2:10). Make us ready as the Bride of Christ, spotless and pure (Revelation 19:7-8).

Lord Jesus, we thank You for the ministry of reconciliation. Use us as Your ambassadors to call the lost into Your sheepfold (John 10:16). Let us bear much fruit for Your glory (John 15:8), and may our lives reflect Your excellencies (1 Peter 2:9).

Father, we pray for our pastors, leaders, and churches. Revive them with a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit. Let Your Word go forth with power, and may many come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We ask for reformation in our families, cities, and nations. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

We thank You for the promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14). We believe that You are faithful to fulfill Your purposes in us. May we be a people who walk in the light, proclaiming Your truth and living in the power of the Gospel.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We hear the ache in your prayer for God to move, and we share that longing with you. The desire to see revival in your own heart, your church, and the world is not a small thing, it is the Spirit’s work stirring you to pray in line with His purposes. When the scope feels overwhelming, we gently remind ourselves (and you) that revival often grows from one faithful step at a time.

Is there someone in your daily life who doesn’t yet know Jesus? As you lift these expansive prayers, consider turning some of that energy toward one concrete act of love this week, a gentle conversation, an unexpected kindness, an invitation to listen. Praying for the nations is right, but God also puts particular people right in front of us. Your own ongoing sanctification and willingness to be used in the ministry of reconciliation is itself a quiet revival that ripples outward.

Let’s pray.

Jesus, thank you for the heart behind these words. Work deeply in this dear friend, wash, sanctify, and set them apart for your glory. Give them eyes to see the one person you have placed before them, and courage to take a simple step of love. We join in asking for a great harvest of souls, starting with the ground you’ve already given us. Do it by your Spirit, for your name’s sake. Amen.

You have been on your knees, I see, with a heart stretched wide over the whole church of God, over pastors and peoples, over cities and nations, and over your own soul as well. That is a good place to be, though the ground is often hard and the night long. You have been asking the Lord to make His bride ready, to wash her clean by the water of the Word, to present her to Himself without spot or wrinkle. And I hear in your prayer a certain ache, a holy discontent with every blemish you still see, in yourself and in the church. Let me sit down beside you a moment, and tell you what I see.

You are like a child who, having been given a little plot of garden, runs to her Father almost in tears because the seeds are not yet flowers, and the soil is not as fine as she would wish. But the Father does not scold; He kneels down and points to the tiny green shoots already breaking through. He says, "That is my doing. The harvest is sure." In just that way, the Lord Jesus looks upon you, and upon the church you love, and sees the work of His own hands. He has already sanctified you, once for all, by the offering of His body. That is done, and it can never be undone. You are set apart for Him. You belong to Him. The white robe of Christ's righteousness is already upon you, and when the Father looks at you, He sees no spot, for the blood of His Son cleanses from all sin.

And yet you long for more, for the inward cleansing, the daily washing of the Spirit, the actual conformity of your life to the image of the Beloved. That longing is not unbelief; it is faith in action. It is the sigh of a soul that has tasted the grapes of Eshcol and cannot be content with the wilderness. I want you to take courage: the very hunger for holiness is the Spirit's work in you. He is not disappointed with you when you groan for more grace. A man does not cry for water unless he has a dry throat; you would not thirst for righteousness if Christ had not already made you to live. The little seed-grain of holiness may seem very small, a mere mustard seed of desire, a pant, a longing, a striving, but it is perfect in its parts, though not yet grown. The Gardener will tend it. He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.

And think of this: the very Word of God you are pleading is the water that washes. When you open the Scriptures and pray, "Sanctify me through Thy truth," you are not wrestling to produce a holiness of your own making; you are simply placing your soul under the flowing fountain. The Word is the channel, but the Spirit is the power. And notice how the Savior prayed: "Sanctify them." He did not say, "They have made themselves holy," nor did He lay down a stern command as the chief means. He asked the Father to do it. So you may roll that burden over onto the broad shoulders of the Son of God. He who prayed that prayer on the night He was betrayed is still interceding for you before the throne. You are not left to prepare yourself as a bride by fretting over every wrinkle; the Bridegroom Himself is attending to the wedding garments. He is not impatient with you; He knows your frame, He remembers you are dust.

And as for the great harvest you are praying for, that day when the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, it is coming. Do not measure the Lord's arm by your present sight. Sometimes the sky is brass and the earth iron, and we think He will never come. But when He sends revival, the planting and the reaping run into one another, so swift and so abundant is the ingathering. So keep on praying, keep on sowing, keep on expecting. Your intercession is like a love-letter sent to the throne; and though it sometimes comes back in a black-edged envelope, the answer is written inside by the Father's own hand. He will not turn away from you. He has made an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and sure, and He has put His fear in your heart so that you shall not depart from Him.

Now let me pray with you, as we turn our faces again toward the Mercy Seat:

O God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make this dear soul perfect in every good work to do Thy will. Work in them that which is wellpleasing in Thy sight, through the same Jesus Christ. Let the water of Thy Word wash over them now, quieting every fear, and let the wind of Thy Spirit fill their sails. Keep them from the evil, and dedicate them wholly to Thy service. And hasten the day when all the earth shall be filled with Thy glory, as the waters cover the sea. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the sacred privilege of joining our hearts with yours in this passionate cry for revival, reformation, and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit. What a profound joy it is to stand in agreement with you as we together seek the Lord’s face for personal transformation, the cleansing power of His Word, and the preparation of the Bride—spotless, radiant, and ready for the return of our Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.

As we continue to lift this prayer before the throne of grace, we ask the Lord to stir within you—and within all of us—a deeper hunger for His presence, a greater surrender to His refining fire, and an unshakable boldness to walk in the works He has prepared for us. If you have already seen glimpses of His answer—whether in a fresh outpouring of the Spirit, a renewed passion for holiness, or a harvest of souls brought into the Kingdom—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Let us celebrate together how the Lord is moving!

If, however, the answer still seems distant or the battle for revival feels unyielding, do not grow weary. We stand ready to lift this request again, believing with you that the One who began this good work will bring it to completion. The same God who has sparked revivals throughout history is still at work today, and His promises remain sure. Let us press on in prayer, trusting that He is faithful to cleanse, equip, and send forth His people as ambassadors of reconciliation.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him, walk in His truth, and proclaim the excellencies of Christ to a world in need of His light. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
