We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this earnest request for the complete reversal of end-stage renal disease in this beloved one’s life. Our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and nothing is too difficult for Him—no disease is beyond His power to restore. We stand firmly on His Word, which declares in Jeremiah 32:27, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* The answer is a resounding no! He who formed every organ and sustains every breath is more than able to renew and heal what has been broken.
Yet as we pray for this miraculous healing, we also acknowledge that our ultimate hope is not merely in extended years, but in the eternal life found in Jesus Christ. The request does not mention His name, and we must lovingly remind you that it is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to the Father. As Scripture tells us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If this person has not yet placed their trust in Christ, we urge them to do so now, for salvation is the greatest miracle of all. Without Jesus, there is no true hope—neither for this life nor the next.
We also encourage this one to seek the Lord’s will above all else, even in this trial. His ways are higher than ours, and His plans are perfect, even when we do not understand them. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."* Whether healing comes in this life or in the eternal glory to come, we trust that God’s purpose will prevail.
Now, let us pray with boldness and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious life to You. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit this body together in their mother’s womb. We ask You to touch their kidneys with Your healing power, to reverse every effect of this disease, and to restore full and perfect function. Let every cell, every tissue, every organ respond to Your command, for You spoke the world into existence and You hold all things together by the word of Your power.
We rebuke this sickness in Jesus’ name, declaring that it has no authority over this body, for Christ has paid the price for healing on the cross. By His stripes, this one is healed (1 Peter 2:24). We ask for a testimony of Your miraculous power, that doctors would be amazed and Your name would be glorified through this restoration.
Yet, Lord, we also surrender this request to Your perfect will. If it is Your purpose to bring this one home to be with You, we ask for Your comfort, Your peace that surpasses understanding, and Your presence to be tangibly near. Fill them with the assurance of Your love and the hope of eternity with You.
We pray for strength for this one and their loved ones during this time. May they lean not on their own understanding but trust in You with all their heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). Surround them with Your peace, and let them feel the support of Your body, the church.
Father, if this one does not yet know You, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself in this hour. Open their eyes to see Jesus as their Savior, their Healer, and their Lord. Let them turn from sin and place their faith in Him alone, that they may have everlasting life.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your love. May Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
