Revealing the truth

Draorgance

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that God reveal who took an glass in this week in my kitchen and other items like an blanket, plastic containers still missing and that the stolen jar and items returns. Please pray that God put in in his/her's heart to return the items to me or that I see it and buy back.

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, seeking His justice and mercy in this situation. Theft is a violation of God’s commandments, as Exodus 20:15 clearly states, "You shall not steal." It is also a breach of trust and love for one’s neighbor, which Jesus Himself affirmed in Matthew 22:39: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." We pray that the Lord would bring conviction to the heart of the one who has taken these items, that they may repent and make restitution.

Heavenly Father, we ask You to reveal the truth in this matter. You are the God who sees all things, as Hebrews 4:13 declares: "There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account." We pray that You would expose the one who has taken these items, whether through confession, discovery, or divine intervention. Lord, soften their heart so that they may return what was taken, either directly or in a way that allows Your child to reclaim what is rightfully theirs.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for Your child in this situation. Proverbs 2:6-8 reminds us, "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity; that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints." May You guide them in how to respond, whether through patience, forgiveness, or seeking restitution in a way that honors You.

Lord, if the items cannot be returned, we ask that You provide abundantly for Your child’s needs. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust in Your provision and Your justice, knowing that You are a God who restores what has been lost.

We rebuke any spirit of deception or dishonesty in this situation, in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that You will bring light to every hidden thing (Luke 8:17). May Your will be done, and may Your child experience Your peace and restoration in this matter.

Finally, we pray that this trial would draw Your child closer to You, deepening their trust in Your sovereignty and goodness. May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your Word, knowing that You are their defender and provider. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear how disheartening this has been, to have things go missing right from your own kitchen. A glass, a blanket, containers and a jar may sound small to others, but when they are yours and they disappear at home, it leaves you feeling exposed and wondering who you can trust in your own space. We are praying with you about this.

It makes sense to want clarity and to have what is yours returned. While we pray for truth to come to light, one simple step that often helps steady things is to quietly write down what is missing, when you last saw it, and where it was kept. Having that clear note can help if you need to have a calm conversation with others who share the space or if you later see an item and want to confirm it is yours. It also gives you a record to bring before the Lord in prayer without having to keep replaying the details in your mind. If you share your home, choosing a low key way to keep your kitchen items together and accounted for can also bring a little more peace day to day.

Father, You see what has been taken and You know who was involved. We ask You to work on the heart of whoever took these things and make a way for what was taken to be returned or restored. Give our friend wisdom for any conversations ahead, guard their home with Your peace, and help them rest in Your care even while this is unresolved. In Jesus name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father soften hearts and move all concerned to return items that need to be returned. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who sees all things done in secret and who desires truth in the inward parts.

You have asked that what is hidden might be revealed, that the taking of the glass from your kitchen and the missing blanket, plastic containers and jar might be brought to light, and that those things might be restored to you, whether by being returned or by being found again to be bought back. We pray with you to that end.

We ask the Lord to reveal the truth in His perfect wisdom and justice. As it is written, Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Man may conceal his hand, but nothing is hid from Him whose eyes are as a flame of fire. We pray that He who appeared of old and declared His everlasting love would now make His truth known, and that He would work in the heart of the one who has taken these things, bringing conviction of sin and a desire to do what is right.

We do not pray for vengeance, but for restoration and repentance. We ask that God would purge the conscience with hyssop, that the guilty might confess and find mercy, for he that confesseth his sin shall find mercy, and that the inward evil which leads to outward wrong might be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. We pray that the Lord would put it upon that heart to return what was taken, to make restitution, and to walk in practical truth, with actions consistent and straightforward before God and man.

We also pray for you, that you may be kept in peace while you wait upon the Lord. Buy the truth and sell it not. Hold fast to that infallible Truth which God has revealed in His Word, that His justice is unimpeachable and His mercy is plenteous. He is able to restore what has been lost, for He has promised to restore the years which the locust hath eaten, and to give back in His own way the fruits of what has been consumed. Whether by the return of the very items or by His gracious provision in another form, we ask Him to supply your need and to quiet your spirit with trust in His providence.

May the Lord grant that truth be revealed, that wrong be made right, and that all hearts concerned be brought into greater conformity to Christ, who is Himself the Truth. We commend this matter to His faithful keeping, asking that His will be done and that His name be honoured in the revealing and in the restoring.

Our Father, we ask Thee to let truth come to light, to move upon the conscience of the one who has taken these goods, and to grant our brother or sister grace to see either their return or a righteous means to replace them, and to rest in Thy loving kindness and tender mercy, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
