Return to sender witchcraft

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual warfare you are facing. The Bible is clear that witchcraft and any form of occult influence are detestable to the Lord and have no place in the life of a believer. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, the Word of God declares, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

The request for prayer to break sexual witchcraft off your mouth is deeply concerning. The mouth is a powerful instrument, it can be used to speak life or death (Proverbs 18:21). When ungodly influences take hold of our speech, it is a sign that the enemy is attempting to defile what God has sanctified. We must take authority over this attack in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is power in His name alone. Philippians 2:9-11 tells us, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

We rebuke this sexual witchcraft in the name of Jesus Christ. It has no authority over you, for you are a child of the Most High God, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We command every ungodly spirit associated with this attack to leave you now and return to the pit of hell where it belongs. We declare that your mouth is sanctified for the glory of God, to speak His truth, to praise His name, and to proclaim His goodness. James 4:7 reminds us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name. We thank You for the authority You have given us as Your children to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Lord, we lift up this dear one who is under attack by sexual witchcraft. We declare that this influence has no place in their life, for they are fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14).

We break every chain of witchcraft, every curse, and every ungodly tie that has been placed upon their mouth. We command every spirit of lust, perversion, and defilement to leave now in the name of Jesus. We cancel every assignment of the enemy against their life, their mind, their body, and their spirit. We declare that their mouth is an instrument of righteousness, set apart for Your glory. Let no unwholesome word proceed from their mouth, but only what is good for building up, that it may give grace to those who hear (Ephesians 4:29).

Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may speak life, truth, and blessing. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Strengthen them in their inner being, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your presence, Lord, that they may walk in purity, holiness, and victory.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Show them any areas of their life where they may have unknowingly opened a door to the enemy. Lead them to repentance and restoration, that they may walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their life. Surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, that they may be encouraged and built up in their faith.

Lord, we thank You for the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). We declare that this dear one is washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:11). We stand on Your promise that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, and deliverance over them. May they experience the freedom that is found only in Christ Jesus.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you in this battle. The enemy seeks to isolate, but you are not alone. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Spend time in God’s Word, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Fill your mind with truth, and let the peace of God guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

If you have not already, we urge you to examine your life for any areas where you may have dabbled in or been exposed to ungodly influences, even unknowingly. Repentance is a powerful tool in breaking the enemy’s hold. The Lord is faithful to forgive and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we come to Him with a humble and contrite heart (Psalm 51:17).

Finally, remember that your identity is in Christ. You are a new creation; the old has passed away, and behold, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). Walk in the authority that Christ has given you, and do not allow the enemy to steal your joy, your peace, or your purpose. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory through the cross. Stand firm, dear one, and watch the Lord move on your behalf.

We noticed your request and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer. Feeling targeted in such a personal way can be unsettling and exhausting, and it makes sense you want to be free and clean before the Lord. You are not forgotten and God sees exactly where you are.

We believe Jesus holds all authority over any spiritual oppression, and we do not need to chase after elaborate methods to find peace. Staying close to Him in simple, steady ways is what matters most. One thing that often helps is not walking through this alone. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer you can talk with face to face, invite them to pray with you regularly and to help you walk out daily habits that keep your heart and mouth centered on Christ, like prayer, reading Scripture, and fellowship, and stepping away from anything that has opened a door to this influence.

We are continuing to pray for your protection and for a growing sense of calm and wholeness in Christ as you walk forward day by day.

Father, in Jesus name we ask You to lift any sexual witchcraft or oppression from our friend's mouth and life. Wash and renew them, guard their thoughts and words, and fill them with Your peace and presence. Lead them in Your wisdom, surround them with supportive community, and keep them close to You. Amen.

Your cry for deliverance has been heard, and we join with you in seeking the Lord who alone can save from the power of darkness and from going down to the pit.

Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does He acts from good reasons, and that deliverance from sin, whether its guilt or its power, is as much the work of God as the pardon of sin itself. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. There is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes us free. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood only, and no charm of words nor any device to send evil back upon another can cleanse the soul. Vengeance belongs unto the Lord, and our deliverance is not by returning a curse, but by looking to Him who was made a curse for us that we might be redeemed from the curse.

For it is written, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Job 33:24. That ransom is the precious blood of Christ, the Son of the King who bore the penalty of all our iniquities. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. What witchcraft or unclean snare has laid hold upon the mouth, Christ is able to break, for He looses the captive and keeps back the soul from the pit.

We pray for you now to that gracious God.

O Lord our God, who sittest as a Refiner and hearest the cry of the afflicted, look in mercy upon this soul who desires to be clean before Thee. Forgive all sin by the ransom which Thou hast found, even Jesus Christ Thy Son, who was made a curse for us. Deliver from the power of darkness, break every chain of sexual sin and every work of the enemy that would defile the mouth and the heart. Wash thoroughly from iniquity and cleanse from sin, that the mouth which has been ensnared may be set apart to declare the works of the Lord. Keep this life from perishing, and grant grace to walk in holiness, to flee from all that is unclean, and to be filled with Thy Spirit and with Thy Word. We ask this not by our own power, but by the power of Him who brings forth His people with a mighty hand, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Take heart and look altogether and alone to your heavenly Father for sanctification as well as for pardon. Keep your mouth with all diligence, let no corrupt communication proceed out of it, but that which is good to edification. Fill it with prayer and praise and the Word of Christ, and the tempter will tempt in vain. You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

We have heard your request for freedom and for your mouth to be cleansed in Jesus name, and we want to pray with you according to what Scripture teaches.

God has made your mouth to be a temple of the Holy Spirit, to be the mouth of Christ, set apart to bless and to give thanks. A mouth that is given such honor shines not with gold but with meekness, with words that bless rather than insult. When we have been given the holy mysteries of Christ, our tongue that has touched the Lord's Body is to be kept pure and not polluted with bitter or unclean words. For this reason we do not pray curses against others, even those who may have harmed us. The Lord commands us to pray for our neighbors and for our enemies, not against them, and to give thanks in every prayer. To say show him the same, do to him what he did, or return this evil to its sender, is to pray against another and in doing so to pray against ourselves, for a mouth that curses cannot offer an acceptable prayer. If we will not forgive, we will not be forgiven, and a prayer offered with a polluted mouth is not heard. If you cannot yet bless the one who has cursed you, hold your peace for a time, keep your tongue from cursing and reviling, and ask God to make your mouth pure so that it speaks only what is good.

You asked about sexual witchcraft on your mouth. Scripture lists witchcraft and sexual immorality together among the works that come not from our nature alone but from a depraved moral choice, from earthly thoughts that trail upon the ground, and it warns that those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Sex is a gift given by God to be enjoyed only within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Any sexual activity outside of that covenant, whether sought by us or pressed upon us by others, is outside God's design and we are called to turn from it, to repent, and to walk in purity. The good news is that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by being made a curse for us. He who had done no violence and in whose mouth was no deceit took the curse upon himself on the tree to deliver us from it. Deliverance is not only being rescued from the lion's mouth for a moment, but being delivered from every evil work and from sin itself so that we do not depart with condemnation.

The word of faith is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name by which we are cleansed. So we encourage you to turn to him fully, to confess any participation in impurity or in seeking spiritual power apart from him, to renounce witchcraft in all its forms, and to ask for his forgiveness and cleansing. Arm your tongue with spiritual words instead of filthy talking, insults, or reviling. Let your mouth be exercised in thanksgiving, in psalms and hymns, in speaking God's words and doing his deeds. When the tongue is so armed, it becomes formidable to the evil one and draws God's grace, and God gives a more piercing eye to see and to live rightly.

We pray for you now in this way.

Father, we thank you that you hear us through Jesus Christ alone. We thank you that Christ took the curse upon himself to set us free. We ask you to cleanse this dear one's mouth and make it your temple. Wash it from all that is bitter, unclean, and impure. Break every bondage of sexual sin and every influence of witchcraft, and set this life apart for purity and holiness. Teach this heart to forgive as you have forgiven, to bless and not curse, and to offer every prayer with thanksgiving. Fill the mouth with confession of Jesus as Lord and with words that give grace to those who hear. Deliver from every evil work and keep this life from sin, that it may walk in the light and inherit your kingdom. We ask this in the name of Jesus alone, who is our only Savior. Amen.

If you are able, continue in daily prayer with thanksgiving, in reading Scripture aloud, in confessing Jesus as Lord, and in seeking the help of a faithful pastor for accountability and prayer so that your mouth and your life may remain pure before God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
