Beloved of All
Your request has been brought before the Lord and I want to pray with you for true freedom in Jesus Christ.
The Scripture teaches that what comes out of the mouth reveals what is in the heart, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good treasure in the heart brings forth good, and an evil treasure brings forth evil. This is why the call of the gospel goes deeper than just words spoken with the lips. We can mouth words by rote without meaning them, and that becomes empty repetition. God looks for truth in the heart, and when the heart is changed by Jesus, the mouth follows. The promise is that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. That confession is not a formula, it is the sincere surrender of your life to Jesus as Lord.
Jesus also taught that His way is for His disciples, for those who truly follow Him. It is not general advice for the world, it is life for those who have come to Him for forgiveness and new birth. If you have not yet fully trusted Jesus alone for salvation, that is the first place to begin. He took on our humanity and suffered and died and rose again to deliver those who through fear were held in bondage all their lives. He alone breaks the power of sin, fear, and any spiritual oppression. You do not need to live in fear of witchcraft or curses, because greater is He who is in you than any power in this world, and you are called to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, walking after the Spirit and trusting His Word to guide and keep you.
In that light, we do not pray for a curse to return to another person. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He calls us to pray for deliverance and protection and to pray even for those who may intend harm, that they would repent and find mercy. What we do ask is for God to cleanse your heart and mouth, to break every chain, and to fill you with His purity and peace.
Let me pray for you. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask for Your mercy and deliverance for this dear one. Forgive every sin and cleanse the heart through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross. Break every bondage of sexual sin and every influence of witchcraft and oppression off the mind, heart, and mouth. Fill this heart with Your good treasure, so that the mouth may speak what is pure and wholesome and true. Teach this one to live by every word that comes from Your mouth, to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh, and to trust Your Word daily for provision, for forgiveness, for guidance, and for deliverance. Guard this life from evil, keep it from temptation, and let Your peace rule. Give a new desire for what is holy and a new strength to turn away from what defiles. Let the mouth now be used to confess Jesus as Lord and to speak thanksgiving and praise. I ask for Your protection, that no weapon formed against this child of Yours would prosper, and I leave all justice in Your hands. Make this life a witness to Your saving power. In Jesus name, Amen.
Be active in seeking the Lord. Do not be passive, waiting as if you have nothing to do. Like a bird that must go and seek its food, seek the Lord in His Word, in honest prayer from the heart, in turning away from any sexual immorality or exposure to what defiles, and in fellowship with faithful believers who will encourage you in the truth. Guard what you allow into your heart through your eyes and ears, for that will shape what comes out of your mouth. And keep confessing Jesus as Lord with a sincere heart, trusting not in repeated phrases but in the living Christ who delivers and keeps His own.
