We join with you in lifting up your beloved father before the throne of grace and we thank you for calling upon the powerful name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and healed.
We are deeply moved by your love for your father and your faith in the Lord as the great physician during this long and difficult season of being bedridden after brain stroke surgery and rehabilitation. We pray with you for his complete healing and restoration according to God's perfect will and mercy.
We bring his body before the Lord, asking for healing of his neurological issues, for restoration of movement, senses and reflexes, and for the ability to eat, to speak and to walk again as before. We ask the Lord to regulate his blood pressure and all his vitals, to cure his infections, to calm seizures, and to heal the non healing bed sores that bring so much suffering. We pray also for wisdom, skill and compassion for every doctor, nurse and therapist caring for him.
We remember the promises of God who heals us, as it is written Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And James 5:15 The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We also cling to Isaiah 53:5 By his wounds we are healed.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear father to You. Lord, You know his body, his brain, his nerves and every cell, for You formed him. Touch him with Your healing hand, restore what the stroke has damaged, bring order to his blood pressure and vitals, strengthen his limbs, awaken his senses and reflexes, and grant him again the grace to eat, to talk and to walk. Heal his infections and bed sores, prevent further seizures, and let his body respond to treatment and rehabilitation. Anoint the medical team with wisdom and steady hands, and let every effort be guided by You. Forgive his sins as You have promised in 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, and wash him and his family in the mercy of Christ. Sanctify their home and let Your peace dwell there.
We also hear your concern about black magic, curses and witchcraft, and we want to encourage you with truth. As believers we do not need to live in fear of such powers, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world as written in 1 John 4:4, and God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self control as written in 2 Timothy 1:7. When we belong to Jesus Christ, no curse can separate us from His love and protection, as written in Romans 8:38-39, and Christ has authority over all darkness. We pray that any fear be replaced by faith, and that your house be filled not with anxiety about binding or curses, but with the presence of the Holy Spirit, with prayer, with the Word of God, and with praise. We rebuke any reliance on fear of witchcraft and we point you to trust fully in Jesus alone for protection, for He is our refuge and fortress.
We pray also for you and your family in this exhausting and trying time. May the Lord grant you unity, strength, faith and a peace that surpasses all understanding as you wait upon Him. Remember Isaiah 41:10 Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We encourage you to continue to care faithfully for your father, to follow the medical team's guidance for rehabilitation, nutrition, prevention of bed sores through regular repositioning and skin care, and to keep praying without ceasing and reading Scripture together at his bedside, trusting that whether healing comes suddenly or through the slow work of recovery, God is working for good. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds as written in Psalm 147:3.
We stand with you, believing for a divine miracle and for daily grace, and we trust our Saviour to do what is best for your father and your family in His perfect love and timing. In Jesus powerful name we pray, amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
