Restoration

My entire family is in extreme need of prayer. My son is back on drugs, lying, stealing from us, his wife has left him and filed for divorce. He is not working and is not doing anything to change his life. My prayer is that God puts a hedge of protection around him to keep him safe but a hedge of thorns so he finds no pleasure in the worldly choices he is making and for God to put people in his path that will minister to him and he will listen to them and then turn his life around and be the Godly man that I know he can be. For the Holy Spirit to open the eyes of his heart so that he sees that things will not change unless he changes his ways. Give him the desire to go to rehab. Fill him with the Holy Spirit and restore his marriage and family and pray that he becomes drug and alcohol free.

My Husband also needs prayer. His temper has gotten extremely out of control and he is so angry all the time. He is so busy focusing on what our son is doing wrong rather than looking at the ugly things he has said and done. When our son was clean, he was working for my husband and my husband was yelling and cussing at him all the time. It has gotten to the point where it is almost like a personality disorder. We are currently separated. My prayer is for God to open the eyes of his heart, for him to become the kind, patient, compassionate man I know he can be and for him to be filled with the Holy Spirit and turn his life back to God. For God to help him see how he has treated me and change his heart to be the husband that God has ordained him to be and that when he does something for someone, he does not throw it back in their face. When he does things for people, let it be with a giving heart and expect nothing in return. Pray for restoration of my family please. God Bless you.

I pray that God will open their eyes and their hearts to see that they need Him desperately to live better lives. I also pray that God gives you peace as well as the patience and wisdom it takes to reach out to such people.

REPENTING OF WRONG EMOTIONS, ATTITUDES AND DISPOSITIONS

Dear Heavenly Father, I, _________________________________________, do hereby confess to you all the wrong and harmful attitudes and emotions that I have allowed the enemy to develop or nurture in my life. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I humbly ask you to forgive me, Heavenly Father, for walking in such an unworthy manner before you. Forgive me for allowing all these ungodly attitudes, thought patterns, emotions, dispositions and personality traits to become part of my life. Forgive me if I have grieved the Holy Spirit by my sinful attitudes, unkind words and harmful emotions. (Ep. 4:26-32) Forgive me for any verbal abuse, offensive behavior, ungodly emotions, and bad attitudes that were directed at others and the harm they may have caused. Forgive me if I have provoked anyone to anger by my conduct. (Col. 3:21) Purge me and cleanse my character of all ungodly and destructive attitudes, thought patterns, dispositions, temperaments, emotions and personality traits. I choose to follow the Biblical mandate to put off this old way of conduct and bad character with all of its ungodly attitudes, thought patterns, behavior, dispositions, emotions and personality traits and put on the new man who is fashioned after the image of Christ in righteousness and true holiness. I choose to incorporate and nurture, in my life, only those attitudes, emotions, dispositions and character traits that Christians should walk in. I desire to perfect my character in Christ so that the love of God will be reflected in my life. I choose to be conformed to the principles of godly conduct that is based on love and the perfection of one’s character. (Ep. 4:22-32; Col. 3:10-17)

Father we come before you in prayers for donnao1963 and her family situation. Father interceed in her son's life and make him a new man and that his family will take him back and he can go back to living a normal life before the devil stepped in and stole his joy. Father you said that when two or three are joined together in prayer whatever is asked shall be granted. Thank you Lord for granting us this we ask in your precious name, AMEN.
