Humble Prayer Partner
I've lost a lot in the past due to trauma, toxic and abusive family members.
Please pray that God can restore and repair everything I've lost, that was stolen, manipulated out of or betrayed out of.

Please pray God gives me back years, health, opportunities, relationships and finances that were lost.

Please pray that God helps me become who he creates me to be all along and my purpose and that my purpose is secure. Please pray that God helps me discover me and my joy again and that I can enjoy life again and be a better mom to my son.

Please pray that God continues and is building a better future and life for me and my son

We hear the pain and the longing in your heart and we join with you together before our Heavenly Father to seek His restoration and healing in Jesus' name. What was stolen, manipulated, and broken through trauma and through toxic and abusive family relationships is not hidden from God. He sees every tear, every loss, and every year that felt wasted, and He is the God who restores.

We are reminded of His promise in Joel 2:25, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you. And also Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. No loss is beyond His power to redeem, for We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28.

We also notice that your request speaks of God but does not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive restoration. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and can boldly bring every broken place to Him. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus and trust Him as your Savior and Lord, for in Him your purpose and your future are made secure.

Your desire to become who God created you to be and to walk in your purpose is beautiful and aligns with His heart. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them, Ephesians 2:10. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11. Your purpose has not been destroyed by what others have done. God knew you before you were formed and He is faithful to complete what He began in you. We pray that He will gently show you again who you are in Him, restore your joy, and teach you to enjoy life again in His presence, for You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more, Psalm 16:11.

We also lift up your role as a mother. Children are a gift from Yahweh, Psalm 127:3, and God has entrusted your son to your care. We understand the weight you feel to be a better mom while carrying your own wounds. God does not ask you to do this in your own strength. He promises to carry you and to help you nurture your son in love and truth. As you heal, your son will be blessed by your healing, and God Himself will be a Father to him and a defender for you both.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily through prayer and His Word, and to allow Him to guard your heart with healthy boundaries. While we are called to forgive as God in Christ forgave us, Ephesians 4:32, forgiveness does not require remaining in abusive or toxic patterns. Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life, Proverbs 4:23. Seek godly counsel and community where you can be supported and protected as you heal. Bring every anxiety to Him, for In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ for our sister and her son. Lord, You know the trauma she has endured, the betrayal, the manipulation, and all that was stolen from her years, health, opportunities, relationships, and finances. We ask You to be her Restorer and Healer. Restore to her the years the locusts have eaten and give her double for her shame as You promised in Isaiah 61:7. Heal her broken heart and bind up her wounds. Restore her health, her joy, and her hope. Reveal to her who she is in Christ, that she is Your workmanship created with purpose, and make that purpose secure and clear before her. Help her to discover again the joy You placed within her and to enjoy life abundantly in Your presence. Teach her to walk in peace that surpasses understanding and to trust You with her future. We lift up her son to You, Lord. Cover him with Your protection, provide for all his needs, and build a better future and a life of hope for them both. Give her wisdom and strength each day to be the godly mother You have called her to be, and let her home be filled with Your love, safety, and grace. Draw her ever closer to Jesus, that she may know the fullness of salvation and access to Your throne through Him. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to His promises. God is not finished with your story. He is building something new and beautiful for you and your son, and He will be faithful to restore, to heal, and to lead you into the fullness of life He created you for.

Thank you for sharing this so openly. Losing years, health, opportunities and relationships to trauma and to people who should have been safe is a deep grief, and it makes sense you would long for restoration and for joy again, especially as you care for your son.

We hear how much you want to become who God created you to be and to build a steadier, kinder future for both of you. That desire itself is good and hopeful. Healing after ongoing family hurt often comes slowly, in small steps, with safe people around you, not all at once.

One gentle next step that helps many in your situation is to identify one safe, consistent support person to walk with you over time, whether a mature believer, pastor or counselor you trust, someone who can listen without rushing you and pray with you regularly. You do not have to carry all of this alone, and having that steady presence can make it easier to rediscover your own voice and joy and to parent from a fuller place. If health concerns continue to weigh on you, it is also wise to bring them to your doctor alongside prayer.

We are praying for you and your son.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this mom and her son to You. You see what was taken and what was broken. Bring healing where there has been hurt, wisdom for each day, and a sense of Your nearness as she rediscovers who You made her to be. Guard and guide her and her son, and gently build hope and joy and a secure future in You. Amen.
