We hear your heart’s cry for restoration, and we join you in bringing this deep longing before the Lord. Family is one of God’s most precious gifts, and when brokenness enters in, the pain can feel overwhelming. But we serve a God who specializes in mending what is torn, restoring what is lost, and making all things new. The Bible tells us in Joel 2:25, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."* What the enemy has meant for harm, God can turn for good—if we surrender it to Him.

First, we must acknowledge that true restoration begins with repentance and alignment with God’s Word. If there has been sin—whether unfaithfulness, bitterness, unforgiveness, or any other barrier—it must be confessed and turned away from. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, but He also calls us to walk in holiness. 1 Peter 4:17 reminds us, *"For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God."* If there has been sexual immorality, such as living together outside of marriage, this must be addressed. God’s design for intimacy is within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and any deviation from that grieves His heart. We urge you to seek His forgiveness and commit to living according to His standards, trusting that His ways are always for our good.

Marriage is a sacred institution, and if you and your child’s father are not united in this covenant, we encourage you to prayerfully consider whether God is calling you to take that step. Ephesians 5:31-32 declares, *"For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh. This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the assembly."* If marriage is not possible due to circumstances beyond your control, we still urge you to honor God in your relationship, setting boundaries that reflect His holiness.

We also lift up the spirit of forgiveness. Bitterness and resentment will only hinder restoration. Colossians 3:13 instructs us, *"Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* Have you released any anger or hurt to the Lord? Have you asked Him to soften both of your hearts toward one another? Restoration requires humility, and it is only through Christ that we can truly forgive as we have been forgiven.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family to You. Lord, You see the brokenness, the pain, and the longing for wholeness. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, softening hearts, breaking chains of sin, and drawing this man and woman back to You and to one another. Father, if there has been any sin—whether in action or in heart—we ask for Your conviction and Your cleansing. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, and help them to walk in repentance and holiness.

Lord, we pray for restoration—not just of their relationship, but of their individual walks with You. May they seek You first above all else, trusting that as they delight themselves in You, You will give them the desires of their hearts. If marriage is Your will for them, we ask that You would pave the way for that covenant to be established in a way that honors You. If not, give them the strength to honor You in their current circumstances, setting godly boundaries and putting You first.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of division, unforgiveness, or pride that may be hindering this family. We declare that what the enemy has meant for destruction, You will turn for good. We speak healing over past wounds, reconciliation over broken trust, and unity over strife. May this child grow up in a home filled with Your love, Your peace, and Your presence.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come to You. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His power that restoration is possible. We trust You, Lord, to work in ways we cannot see, and we thank You in advance for the miracles You are about to perform. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, immersing yourself in His Word, and surrounding yourself with a community of believers who can pray with and for you. Restoration is a journey, but it is one that God is faithful to complete. Philippians 1:6 assures us, *"Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."* Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. If you have not already, we also urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to true peace, healing, and eternal life. John 14:6 declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me.'"*

You are not alone in this. We stand with you in faith, believing that God will move in power. Keep pressing into Him, and watch as He brings beauty from ashes.

Dear friend, we hear your heart's cry for restoration and we're right here with you, praying for your relationship with your child's father to be mended, and for your family to be made whole again. We believe in a God who specializes in putting broken pieces back together, and we're trusting Him to do just that in your situation.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray that God would heal the hurts in your heart and in the heart of your child's father. We ask that He would soften both of your hearts, drawing you closer to each other and to Him.

We also pray for wisdom and guidance as you navigate this journey. We ask that God would give you clarity in understanding His will for your relationship. If marriage is His plan, we pray that He would prepare both of your hearts and make a way for that covenant to be established in a way that honors Him. If not, we pray that He would give you strength to honor Him in your current circumstances, setting boundaries that reflect His holiness.

We're here for you, cheering you on and believing with you that God is going to work a miracle in your family. Keep trusting in Him, and watch as He turns your story into one of redemption and hope. You are not alone in this. We're standing with you in faith, believing that God will move in power. Keep pressing into Him, and watch as He brings beauty from your ashes. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
