Requesting prayer

We have received your simple request for prayer and we are honored to lift you up before the throne of grace together in Jesus name. Even though you did not share details, our Father knows your heart, your needs, and every burden you carry, and He invites you to bring everything to Him.

We are reminded of His promises to you. We read in Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you do not know. And in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to Psalm 34:18 Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And in 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We gently want to share with you that we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to encourage you because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Scripture tells us in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for as Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Jesus shed blood and resurrection that our prayers are heard and our sins are forgiven.

So together we pray for you. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You know every need, every worry, every hope that has prompted this request. We ask that You draw near and make Your presence known, that You grant peace that surpasses understanding and guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask that You provide wisdom, strength, healing, and provision according to Your perfect will. If there are areas of sin, doubt, or heaviness, we ask for Your conviction, forgiveness, and restoration. We pray that this dear one will seek You with all their heart and come to know Jesus more deeply as Savior and Lord, trusting fully in His grace. Let Your will be done in this life and let Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our salvation, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily through prayer and through reading His Word, to share your burdens with faithful believers, and to trust that He hears you and loves you more than you can imagine. If you feel led, please share more of your need so we can pray more specifically with you, but know that even now we are carrying you before the Lord.

We are glad you reached out, even with just these few words. We have heard you, and more importantly God has heard you. There are seasons when we do not have a long explanation, only a quiet need for Him to be near, and He welcomes that honest simplicity.

We do not know all that is on your heart right now, but we want you to know you are not forgotten. Walking with the Lord is often not a sudden leap but a slow, steady process over time, with ups and downs along the way. What encourages us is that He stays with us through each part of it and keeps shaping us as we keep turning to Him.

If it would help in the days ahead, you might find it steadying to set aside just a few unhurried minutes each day to be with Him in prayer and in His Word, and to let one trusted believer know you asked for prayer so you are not carrying this alone. Even small, regular steps like that can keep our hearts open to His presence.

Father, we lift the one who reached out to You right now. You see what we cannot see and know the needs spoken and unspoken. Draw near with Your peace and wisdom, guide each next step, and remind them they are loved and held by You. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for prayer has been heard and we count it a privilege to bear you before the throne of grace. We do not know the full burden that presses upon your heart, but the Lord knows it altogether, and He waits that He may be gracious and is exalted that He may show mercy.

We would point you to the patience and the comfort of the Scriptures, that you might have hope. The God of patience and consolation and the God of hope would have you find in His Word not a fleeting sentiment but a sure ground for your soul. There we read His plain promises, and there the Holy Spirit, who is the Comforter, brings comfort to the aching heart. Take the Scriptures and let them dwell with you, for hope is for those who are saved and hope comes and is strengthened by the patience and comfort which the Word imparts.

We must speak the truth in love, for comfort based upon the suppression of truth is worse than useless. There is no hope for any of us in ourselves, in our own way or our own devices. We are wearied in the length of our way, and if we look to ourselves we must say, there is no hope. Yet there is hope in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior of such as we are. There is no hope in yourself, but there is hope for you in Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation. The Lord takes pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that hope in His mercy, even though that hope be as yet small and trembling.

Therefore we exhort you to try the power of prayer and childlike confidence in God. The Lord Himself says, open your mouth wide and I will fill it. Open your mouth in prayer, speak to Him as a child to a Father, confess your sin and cast yourself upon the mercy of Christ. If He has brought others out of bondage, take hope that He can deliver you also. Cry to Him in your chamber and He who hears in secret will reward openly.

We now pray for you, that the Lord would look upon you in infinite compassion, that He would grant you repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, that He would give you the patience to wait upon Him and the comfort which His Word and Spirit alone can give, and that through that patience and comfort you might have a good hope of eternal life. May He strengthen the hands that hang down and confirm the feeble knees, and may He comfort you with the comfort wherewith He comforts His people. May He lead you to Mount Zion, to Jesus the Mediator, and give you grace to say, Father, I have sinned, and to find in Him full and free forgiveness.

We will continue to remember you before the Lord, asking that you may know Him more fully and be kept in His peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for prayer has been heard and we have brought you before the Lord with thanksgiving.

We prayed that you would draw near to God through Jesus Christ alone, for He ever lives to make intercession for those who come to God by Him. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is through His priesthood and His sacrifice that our prayers are heard. We asked that you would know His mercy, His help, and His power to save to the uttermost.

We also encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer yourself. The prayer of others is a great good, but it bears fruit when we ourselves are watchful and awake. Do not think you have no need of prayer, for we all need it continually. Come to God not with many empty words or with requests for things that do not concern your soul, but with a sincere heart, lifting up holy hands without anger or doubting, and forgiving others as you seek forgiveness.

Make prayer your great weapon morning and night. If you first make God favorable to you by prayer and supplication, you will go through the day with security, even when trials and temptations press upon you like waves and rocks. And in all things give thanks to God, for He orders all things for our good, even what seems hard.

We will continue to pray for you, that God would strengthen you, keep you from evil, grant you repentance and faith where needed, and lead you in His will. Seek Him daily, trust in Christ, and remain in His Word.
