Requesting Grace to Work Hard (John 15:5; Phil 4:6-7; Haggai 2:4)

Intercessor

Beloved of All
"I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5).

Heavenly Father, I confess that apart from You I can do nothing. I ask for the grace to work hard. If I were not saved I could do it on my own strength, but since I have become a believer, I am taught to not be anxious about anything but pray about everything, with supplications and thanksgivings let my requests be made known to God. I am promised the peace of God will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

'But now take courage, Zerubbabel,' declares the LORD, 'take courage also, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you people of the land take courage,' declares the LORD, 'and work; for I am with you,' declares the LORD of hosts.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
