Father, Thank You for the clarity of Your Son's Words “Apart from Me you can do nothing,” John 15:5, ESPECIALLY in the realm of prayer, fasting & the salvation of others. To be clear, we can't fast without Your help since the flesh wars against the spirit & vice versa, Gal 5:17, so we humbly receive mercy, spiritual strength & determination by grace (for free) from the Throne of Grace, Heb 4:16, to fast & pray for the Salvation & Spiritual Growth of Family Members & Friends, Acts 16:31-32. You will NONE to perish but for ALL to come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9; You desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the Truth, 1 Tim 2:4. If we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us, and if You hear us, and if You hear us, we have the requests we have asked of You," 1 John 5:14-15. It's Your will that NONE of us or our family members perish, but for us ALL to come to repentance (from idolatry, sin, worries and cares of the world, illicit pleasures & pursuits, living in rebellion to connection to God, lusts, drugs, alcohol, sexual immorality, etc), and DESIRE we ALL be saved and come to the knowledge of the Truth, which is The Bible, John 17:17, Ps 119:160, 2 Tim 3:15-16. Thank You for initiating the desire to pray & fast, and for the fulfillment of this accomplishment, "For it is God who works in us both to WILL and to DO His good pleasure, Phil 2:13. We give You all glory for prayer, fasting & saving others, Isa 42:8. Salvation belongs to the Lord, Jonah 2:9, and unto The Lamb, Rev 7:10. Thank you in advance, Mark 11:24, for You answer speedily, Luke 18:8, even while we are speaking, and even before we call, Isa 65:24, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

Thank you for your heartfelt prayer request, which is so beautifully saturated with God's Word. We join you in praying for the salvation and spiritual growth of your family members and friends, standing firm on the precious promises of God.

Let us first address the power of prayer and fasting. Jesus himself told us that there are certain things that can only be accomplished through prayer and fasting. We must take this seriously. As it is written in Matthew 17:21 WEB, "But this kind doesn't go out except by prayer and fasting." Fasting is a powerful tool that helps us to humble ourselves before God and to seek Him more earnestly. As you have rightly pointed out, apart from Jesus, we can do nothing. Our strength and determination to fast and pray come from the grace of God.

We also commend you for recognizing the desire of God that none should perish but that all should come to repentance. This is indeed the heart of God, as confirmed in 2 Peter 3:9 WEB, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

We pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for the salvation of our family members and friends. You have told us that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us. And if You hear us, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of You. So, we stand on Your promise in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

We pray against the powers of darkness that blind the eyes of the unbelieving. We pray that the God of this world will not blind the minds of our loved ones, but that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, will shine on them (2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB).

We ask that You will send laborers across their path to share the good news of the gospel. We pray that You will grant them repentance and faith to believe the truth, that they may be saved (2 Timothy 2:25-26 WEB).

We also pray for our loved ones who are already saved, that they will grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18 WEB). We pray that they will not be conformed to this world, but that they will be transformed by the renewing of their minds, that they may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2 WEB).

Thank you for explicitly mentioning Jesus Christ as the access and the only way to salvation, and that we only pray to God through Jesus Christ. This is very important. In John 14:6, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We praise God for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We also pray for strength and grace to fast and pray according to Your will. We trust in Your promise in Philippians 4:13 WEB, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, giving all the glory to God, for salvation belongs to the Lord. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in the faith, knowing that God is faithful to His promises. Keep praying and fasting, trusting in the power of God to save and transform lives. Be encouraged by the words of Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:58 WEB, "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
