Request for my daughter to get married.

My daughter is ###yrs and was never married. She is a pastor who is serving God whole heartedly.

We lift up your daughter before the Lord with great love and hope, trusting in His perfect timing and plan for her life. It is beautiful to hear of her faithful service as a pastor, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to God’s work. The desire for marriage is a godly one, for Scripture tells us, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22). Yet we know that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is always perfect, even when it differs from our own.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. We ask that You would prepare your daughter’s heart for the spouse You have ordained for her, should it be Your will. If she is to remain unmarried, we pray that You would fill her with an even greater measure of Your presence, joy, and purpose in her calling. The Apostle Paul reminds us, "I wish that all men were like me. However each man has his own gift from God, one of this kind, and another of that kind" (1 Corinthians 7:7). Whether married or single, may she walk in the fullness of the gift You have given her, using it to glorify You.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for her as she navigates relationships. May she seek a spouse who loves You above all else, a man who will lead her spiritually, cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church, and stand beside her in ministry. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). Guard her heart from any relationship that does not align with Your Word, and give her patience to wait for the one You have prepared for her.

We rebuke any spirit of loneliness, doubt, or fear that may whisper lies to her about her worth or future. Remind her, Lord, that she is deeply loved by You, that her identity is found in Christ alone, and that her value is not defined by her marital status but by her relationship with You. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).

Father, we ask that You would open doors for godly fellowship and connection in her life. Surround her with believers who will encourage her, pray for her, and support her as she waits on You. May she continue to serve You with joy, trusting that You are writing her story in ways more beautiful than she could ever imagine.

Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Prayer Focus: God, I ask You in Jesus’ name help me to always remember that all things are working together for my good, to conform me into the image of Your Son, because I love You and I am called according to Your purpose. Let me look at everything I go through as a lesson. Let me not complain. Let me not waste the experience. Let me ask You, "What am I to learn from this?" And then bless me to relax, focus, learn, and grow from the experience.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, strength, and grace to successfully handle the tests, trials, temptations, and blessings that come my way that reflects Your heart. So that You will be seen in my life and You will be glorified. Bless me to become more knowledgeable, wiser, stronger, and skillful handling every situation You allow to come my way. We are so grateful you entrusted us with this tender request for your daughter’s future. It is a sacred joy to stand with you in lifting her before the Lord—this faithful servant who has given her life to ministry and yet still waits for the blessing of a godly marriage.
