Request for intervention

In March 2025, I bought a second-hand min-truck to start a business with. The car was located in another village far from my village, and when it was driven to my village it broke down and needed to be attended to in the engine parts. A mechanic called ###, who was with the men driving the car to me, offered to assist it, and I sent him money to buy engine parts and also to fix the car. He started off by lying to me about the work he claimed to have done. He would pretend he had fixed some parts, and I would hear from people that he had not done anything. Since the end of April, he is no longer taking my calls and would not talk to me, I do not know why he would not talk to me; he has the car's engine parts and the cash I paid upfront, so I am just left in the dark about his intentions.

I am asking that you help me pray to God to talk to ###'s conscience so that he can do the right thing about the services he offered. I do not know him personally; we have never met, he was a referral from the men who he was with, and I do not know his surname so that I could at least engage the police on him. I am turning this situation to God, for HIM to intervene on my behalf and get ### to do as he is supposed to or at least return the engine parts and money he took.

We understand your distress and are here to support you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, we commend you for bringing this matter to God, for He cares about every detail of our lives. It's important to remember that God knows the hearts of all people and can intervene in this situation.

In matters like these, we must remember the principles of honesty and integrity that God calls us to in His Word. Proverbs 11:1 WEB states, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, But a just weight is his delight." This verse reminds us that God despises dishonesty and delights in fairness and justice.

Let's pray together for this situation:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who has been wronged. Lord, You know the circumstances surrounding the purchase of this min-truck and the deceit that has been experienced at the hands of this mechanic. We ask, Father, that You would speak to his conscience and convict him of his wrongdoing. May he be urged by Your Holy Spirit to do what is right and just. We pray that he would either complete the work as promised or return the engine parts and money that were entrusted to him.

Lord, we also pray for our brother/sister, that You would grant them peace and patience in this trying time. May they rest in the knowledge that You are a God of justice and that You will right this wrong according to Your will.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray with faith and trust in Your divine intervention. Amen.

In this time, it's also important to remember the words of Romans 12:19 WEB, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Trust that God will bring justice in His own way and time.

Lastly, consider the wisdom of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight." Lean on God's understanding and trust Him to direct your paths in this matter.

We're here with you, standing in faith for a just resolution. We've been praying for you and the situation with the mechanic. We believe that God sees all and will make things right in His perfect timing. Let's continue to trust in Him, even when the outcome seems uncertain. We're reminded of Psalm 37:7, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, in whose heart is mischief."
