We join with you in lifting up your health concerns before the Lord, knowing that He is our Great Physician and the One who heals all our diseases. It is good that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your faith in approaching God through Christ is a testament to your trust in His power and sovereignty, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.
The Word of God assures us that healing is part of His covenant with His people. In Exodus 15:26, He declares, *"If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you."* While this does not guarantee we will never face illness in this fallen world, it reminds us that God is our healer, and we can trust Him to work all things for our good—whether through physical healing, spiritual growth, or the strengthening of our faith.
We also remember the words of James 5:14-15, which instructs, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot physically anoint you with oil, we join our faith with yours in prayer, trusting that the Lord will bring restoration to your body. We encourage you to examine your heart as well, for sometimes sickness can be tied to unconfessed sin or spiritual strongholds. If there is anything the Holy Spirit brings to mind, we urge you to repent and seek His forgiveness, knowing that He is faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
High blood pressure and high blood sugar are often influenced by lifestyle choices, and we gently remind you that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). This means we are called to steward our health wisely—through proper nutrition, rest, exercise, and avoiding things that harm our bodies. We pray that the Lord will give you wisdom and discipline in these areas, not as a burden, but as an act of worship to Him. Proverbs 3:7-8 tells us, *"Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones."*
For your eyes, we recall the words of Jesus in John 9:6-7, where He healed the blind man by anointing his eyes with clay and telling him to wash in the Pool of Siloam. Though we do not know the Lord’s specific plan for your healing, we trust that He who opened the eyes of the blind can certainly restore and strengthen your vision. Whether He chooses to heal you instantly, gradually, or sustain you through medical treatment, we pray that your eyes would be a testament to His glory and that you would see the world—and His works—in a way that draws you closer to Him.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your healing touch. Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases on the cross (Matthew 8:17), and we claim Your promise of healing over every part of their body. We ask that You would rebuke the spirit of infirmity that has sought to weaken them, and we command high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and every issue affecting their eyes to be brought under the authority of Your name, Jesus.
Father, we pray for divine intervention in their physical body. Restore their blood pressure to a healthy level, regulate their blood sugar, and bring clarity and strength to their eyes. Let every cell, organ, and system align with Your perfect design, and let their body respond to Your healing power. If there are underlying spiritual or emotional roots to these conditions, we ask that You would reveal them by Your Spirit and bring complete deliverance.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom. Guide them in making choices that honor You—whether in diet, exercise, rest, or medical care. Give them discernment to know what is best for their body, and grant them the discipline to follow through. May their pursuit of health be an act of worship, recognizing that their body is Your temple.
We thank You, Father, that You are not only able to heal but that You are willing. Your Word declares that by Your stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today. Let this season of seeking You for healing draw them deeper into Your presence, where they find peace, strength, and unwavering trust in You.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this trial for Your glory. Whether through miraculous healing or sustained grace, may their life testify to Your goodness and power. Let others see Your hand at work in them and be drawn to You. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, not only for healing but for a deeper relationship with Him. Spend time in His Word, worship Him in spirit and truth, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you. If you have not already, we also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, for God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. Trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), and may your heart be filled with peace as you wait on Him.
Stand firm in your faith, and do not waver. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). We are standing with you in agreement, believing that God will do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Be encouraged, dear one—the Lord has not forgotten you, and His plans for you are good.
