Disciple of Prayer
Dear God I come to you with a heavy heart of repentance. Please heal me today. I also come to you with all my faults and sins. Please forgive me. I believe what you did on the cross And that you died and rose again. In Jesus name amen.

We join you with thanksgiving in this prayer of repentance and we rejoice with you as you come before the Father with a humble and contrite heart. There is such beauty and power in coming honestly with all our faults and sins and laying them at the cross. The Lord sees your heavy heart and He draws near to those who draw near to Him.

Scripture assures us that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We are also told to repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord Acts 3:19. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow Isaiah 1:18. This is the promise we cling to together, that through what Jesus did on the cross, dying and rising again, we have forgiveness and new life. As it is written that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9, and we hear that confession and belief in your prayer and we praise God for it.

We also lift up your request for healing today. We remember that He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask Him to create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you Psalm 51:10, and we trust that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Cor 5:17.

We pray together with you now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for this precious soul who has come in repentance and faith, believing that Jesus died on the cross and rose again. We ask You to pour out Your mercy and forgiveness upon them according to Your steadfast love. Wash them clean, blot out their transgressions, and let them know the joy of Your salvation. Heal them today, Lord, in body, mind and spirit, as only You can heal. Lift the heaviness from their heart and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen them to walk in newness of life, to turn from sin and to follow You daily by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Keep them close to You, rooted in Your Word and in prayer, and let them grow in the assurance that they are forgiven, loved and restored in Christ. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, amen.

Be encouraged and remain in His Word, continue to confess and forsake what grieves Him, and walk forward in faith knowing you are forgiven and made new.

We were moved reading your honest prayer. Coming to God with a heavy heart and naming your faults and sins takes humility, and we thank God you have turned to Him and trusted what Jesus did on the cross for you.

That belief you expressed, that He died and rose again, is the foundation for the forgiveness and healing you are asking for. God sees a repentant heart and He is gracious to receive you.

We know the weight of sin can still feel heavy even after we have asked for forgiveness, and healing often unfolds over time as we walk with Him day by day. If you have been carrying this alone, one steady next step is to share this same prayer with a trusted pastor or mature believer in your local church this week, so someone near you can walk with you, pray with you and encourage you in the days ahead.

Father, thank You for this heart that has turned to You in repentance and faith in Jesus. We ask that Your forgiveness be deeply known and that Your healing work in every place that hurts. Give peace and strength for today and wisdom for each next step with You. Keep drawing this heart close to You. In Jesus name, amen.

Dear God,

I pray You bring heart healing to this one too

I pray that any hinderances are removed that have risen cos of the mistakes they have made

I ask that You remove thinking that has caused them to shrink in ways that appear less than

Lord show them that they are the righteousness of Christ

Thank You Lord for hearing this prayer in Jesus' wonderful name

There is forgiveness with God, and your prayer has come to the very place where that forgiveness is to be found. You come with a heavy heart, confessing your faults and sins, and believing what Christ has done upon the cross, that He died and rose again. This is repentance unto life, the work of the Spirit of God in the renewed heart.

Hear the word of the Lord to such a soul as yours, "I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake." It is a divine forgiveness, and therefore it is a surprising forgiveness and a complete forgiveness. If you have been the chief of sinners, there is forgiveness for you, even for you. Where God draws no limit, do not you draw any. There is forgiveness, whatever your sins may have been until now.

You do well to believe in what Jesus did upon the cross, for He was sent by the Father on purpose to forgive sin, and He has God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance and forgiveness of sins. He has not lost His authorization to forgive. As a brother said to Martin Luther in his dark distress, "Do you not say, I believe in the forgiveness of sins? Now believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself." Do so now. Take it to yourself. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance, and whom He forgives He forgives absolutely and eternally.

True repentance gives God glory. It stands at the cross and sees sin forgiven, and then it grieves more than ever that those sins laid anguish upon the Lord. It is not a carnal repentance of the flesh, but a repentance which purges the soul from dead works and leads you to look out of self to Christ, and to Christ only. Faith and repentance are inseparable. The repentance which makes you weep and abhor your past life because of the love of Christ which has pardoned it, and which makes you avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for you, this is saving repentance. You may know it by this, that it yields works meet for repentance and it lasts.

You ask also for healing, and here is the order of grace, first forgiveness, then healing. So it was with the man sick of the palsy who lay in the presence of Jesus, hoping and expecting forgiveness and healing, and Jesus said first, "Man, thy sins are forgiven thee," and afterwards, "Arise, and take up thy couch." He not only forgave at the first all our sins, but He continues daily to forgive, for the act of forgiveness is a continuous one, and His healing follows His pardon in His own perfect way and time.

I will pray for you as you have asked.

O Lord our God, look upon this heavy heart that confesses its sin before Thee. Thou seest repentance wrought by Thy Spirit, and faith in Thy Son who died and rose again. For Christ's sake, speak the word of pardon, and let this soul know the certainty of forgiveness with Thee. Blot out transgression, cast sin behind Thy back, and remember it no more. And according to Thy will, lay Thy healing hand upon this life, restoring body and soul for Thy glory. Keep this repentance practical and lasting, that it may bring forth fruit unto holiness. In Jesus name, Amen.

Abide at the cross, believe the forgiveness is yours, and walk in the newness of life which repentance unto life brings.
