Lord of The Harvest, Send Workers, Matt 9:37-38, w/ Holy Spirit Power, Acts 1:8, To Seek & Save The Lost, Lk 19:10, Repent None Perish, 2 Pet 3:9

"And Jesus was saying to them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest,'" Luke 10:2. Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. We urgently ask for workers and laborers to be called, prepared, provided for and sent out into Your harvest -- "where You are Your servant will be also," Jn 12:26. Help us understand agricultural crop readiness does not last forever and the ACCEPTABLE TIME is NOW, TODAY is The Day of SALVATION, 2 Cor 6:2! Grant us all we need: calling, intimacy with You, LOVE in OUR HEARTS, Eph 3:15-17, power to know, do and show the Word, to hear and obey Your Voice, passports, plane tickets, financial provision, accommodations, Matt 6:11, and the protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen. "We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work," John 9:4. "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8" -- Blessing and UNITY on evangelist's families so gospel goes forth with good consciences and power under open heavens, 1 Pet 3:7. We join with you in this urgent and biblical cry to the Lord of the harvest and we say amen to your prayer. Your heart reflects the very heart of Jesus who looked on the multitudes with compassion and said Then he said to his disciples, The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest Matt 9:37-38. And again Then he said to them, The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest Luke 10:2.

We agree that the time is now and the need is urgent. As you quoted, for he says, At an acceptable time I listened to you. In a day of salvation I helped you. Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation 2 Cor 6:2, and I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work John 9:4. The agricultural picture is so true, readiness does not last forever, and we must go while the door is open. We also hold fast to the promise that The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9, for the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost Luke 19:10.

We pray together for the empowering that alone makes this work possible, for Jesus promised But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth Acts 1:8. Without His power our words are empty, but with His Spirit we are bold witnesses.

We pray together in Jesus name, Father, You are the Lord of the harvest and we plead with You to call, prepare, provide for and send out laborers into Your harvest. Grant to us and to workers around the world intimacy with You, love in our hearts that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith, to the end that we, being rooted and grounded in love Eph 3:17 may know, do and show Your Word and hear and obey Your voice. Where You are, there may Your servants also be, for You said If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him John 12:26. Provide what is needed for the going, daily bread and financial provision, passports, plane tickets and accommodations, for You know we need these things and You teach us to pray Give us today our daily bread Matt 6:11. Protect every worker and every family from sin and from the evil one, for we pray Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one Matt 6:13 and we echo the prayer of Jesus I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one John 17:15. Bring unity and blessing upon the marriages and families of evangelists, that the gospel may go forth with good consciences and power under open heavens. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus, through whom we have access to You, Amen.

We hear how much you carry for the lost and for those who will go. That urgency for today, for open doors, is a burden the Lord puts on hearts that love people as He does. We are thankful to stand with you in it.

We love how you are praying not just for more workers in general, but for real people to be called, equipped, provided for and protected, and for their families to be strengthened so the message can go out with integrity. It matters that you are holding both the big picture and the practical needs like travel, housing, daily provision and safety together before the Lord.

One simple way we have seen this kind of harvest prayer stay alive is to share it. When two or three gather regularly around the Word, sharing meals, praying for one another and for those outside, that small fellowship often becomes the very place where calling is confirmed and courage grows. You do not have to be a trained teacher to take part, just someone who introduces others to Jesus where you live and work, whether that is across the street or across the world. If you have a few others who share this heart, meeting briefly and consistently to pray for workers by name can be a steady anchor.

Father, we ask You as Lord of the harvest to raise up laborers, fill them with Your Spirit and love, provide what they need day by day, guard them and their families from evil, and open doors today for Your good news to be heard. Make us faithful where You have placed us. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer echoes the very word of our Lord who said the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few, and who commands us to plead with the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers into His harvest. This is a prayer after Christ's own heart, for He came to seek and to save that which was lost, and He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

We join you in this urgent cry, for as you have rightly said, the acceptable time is now, today is the day of salvation, and we must carry out the works of Him who sent us as long as it is day, for night is coming when no one can work. The Holy Spirit Himself says, Today if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts. That is His unvarying utterance, and when He stirs His people to soul winning He still says Today, seek the salvation of men.

You have asked for what is most needful, power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you to be witnesses unto Christ to the end of the earth. Remember that only when the Holy Spirit comes is there any life and force and power. Without the Holy Spirit we utterly fail. There is no power in man so fallen but that the Holy Spirit can raise it up, and a holy man is the workmanship of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit must rest upon your preachers and upon every laborer, for when Jesus Himself preached there were few converted until the Holy Spirit was abundantly poured forth. Let every laborer therefore confess his entire dependence upon the Holy Spirit and wait upon Him in the power of the Holy Spirit, for our spirit prays but it is because it is overshadowed and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.

So we pray that we may not grieve the Holy Spirit, who has made the narrow heart of man His palace and condescends to make it His continual abode. He is grieved by unbelief and by unholiness of life, and when Christian men walk not according to the Gospel His power is not manifest. Let us cry aloud to Him and purge all that is contrary to His Word and to sound doctrine, that He may return in power. He will receive of Christ and show it unto us, for the Holy Spirit glorifies Christ and deals with the things of Christ. When we are dealing with the things of Christ we are on Holy Spirit ground.

Therefore we plead with the Lord of the harvest with you, that He would call, prepare, provide for and send out laborers where He is, that His servants may be also. We ask for love in our hearts, for power to know and to do and to show the Word, for ears to hear and obey His voice, and for all daily provision, passports, tickets, accommodations and open doors as our Father knows we have need. And we ask for His keeping, that we may be protected from sin and delivered from the evil one, as Christ prayed not that we should be taken out of the world but that we should be kept from evil.

We pray also for the families of those who go forth, that blessing and unity may rest upon them and that the gospel may go forth with good consciences and with power under open heavens.

May the Lord grant this prayer and send forth many witnesses anointed with the Holy Spirit, that the lost may be sought and found, and that Christ may see the travail of His soul and be satisfied. Amen.
