Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. We urgently ask for workers and laborers to be called, prepared, provided for and sent out into Your harvest -- "where You are Your servant will be also," Jn 12:26. Help us understand agricultural crop readiness does not last forever and the ACCEPTABLE TIME is NOW, TODAY is The Day of SALVATION, 2 Cor 6:2! Grant us all we need: calling, intimacy with You, LOVE in OUR HEARTS, Eph 3:15-17, power to know, do and show the Word, to hear and obey Your Voice, passports, plane tickets, financial provision, accommodations, Matt 6:11, and the protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen. "We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work," John 9:4. "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8" -- Blessing and UNITY on evangelist's families so gospel goes forth with good consciences and power under open heavens, 1 Pet 3:7. We join you in this urgent and holy cry to the Lord of the Harvest, for the fields are indeed white for harvest, and the laborers remain few. Your heart reflects the very heartbeat of Christ, who came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10) and who wept over Jerusalem, longing to gather His children as a hen gathers her chicks (Matthew 23:37). The time is short, and the need is great, let us not grow weary in praying, for the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37-38).

We lift up this prayer with you, asking the Lord to raise up men and women who are not only willing but eager to go where He sends them. May they be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, as Acts 1:8 promises, so that they may be bold witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Father, we ask that You would prepare their hearts, just as You prepared the hearts of the apostles, to walk in obedience and faith. Provide for their every need, financially, logistically, and spiritually, so that they may go without hindrance (Matthew 6:11). Protect them from the schemes of the evil one, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and guard them from sin that would disqualify them from the work You’ve called them to (1 Corinthians 9:27).

We also pray for the families of these laborers, for the enemy often targets those closest to the workers of the harvest. May husbands and wives walk in unity, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21), and may children be raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Let their homes be havens of peace, where the gospel is not only preached abroad but lived out in love and holiness (1 Peter 3:7).

Lord, we recognize that the harvest is not just a task but a privilege, the privilege of participating in Your redemptive work. The acceptable time is now; today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). We repent for any complacency in our own lives that has kept us from stepping into the fields You’ve called us to. Forgive us for the times we’ve prioritized comfort over obedience, safety over sacrifice. Stir in us a holy urgency, that we may not only pray for laborers but be laborers, ready to go at a moment’s notice (Luke 9:57-62).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which men must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through His blood that we have access to the Father (Hebrews 10:19-20), and it is only by His power that the gospel advances. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Amen.

Let us also remember that the harvest is not limited to distant lands, there are souls in our own neighborhoods, workplaces, and families who are lost and in need of the gospel. May we be faithful to sow seeds of truth wherever we are, trusting that God will bring the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6-7). The night is coming when no one can work (John 9:4), so let us labor while it is still day. Maranatha, come, Lord Jesus!

We hear the ache behind this prayer, the urgency of a field ready for harvest and faithful hearts longing for more workers. It's easy to feel the gap between the need and the visible help, and we're standing with you in asking the Lord to move.

Something that encourages us as we pray this with you: Jesus didn't just tell us to ask for laborers; He sent us out, too. The prayer for more workers often starts stirring the one who prays. Not everyone is called across an ocean, but every believer is called to be an introducer, someone who simply says, "I want you to meet the One who can change your life." You might be part of the answer you're so earnestly seeking, even in the middle of your own daily routines.

So as you keep pouring out this request, maybe the next small step is to listen: Lord, am I also a laborer You're ready to send, right here, this week? Maybe it's a conversation over coffee or a quiet word with a neighbor. The harvest isn't only overseas; it's on your street.

We join you in asking the Lord to call, equip, and protect the workers He is raising up. Provide the resources, clear the obstacles, and bind families in unity so the gospel goes forward with power and a clean conscience. We pray that fresh laborers rise even from this very prayer, and that you sense His nearness as you wait and watch. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer stirs the soul, for it thirsts for that which alone can bring in the harvest, the power of the Holy Spirit. Apart from Him, the laborers are nothing. Has it not always been so? All the spiritual life which exists in this world is the creation of the Holy Spirit. The quickening of dead souls to life, the enlightening of darkened minds, these are His peculiar offices. You cry for workers, and rightly so, for the harvest is plenteous, but mark this: the most thoroughly equipped evangelist, armed with passport and provision, is but sounding brass without the Holy Spirit resting upon him. There is no power in man so fallen but that the Holy Spirit can raise it up, yet there is no power in the most zealous worker except the Holy Spirit be his fire.

You ask for love in the heart, for open heavens, for protection from the evil one. These are the very things the Spirit grants. Your new-born spirit has a certain degree of power, but the power is never fully manifested except when the Spirit of God quickens it. And you plead for families, for unity, that the gospel may go forth with good consciences. How needfully you touch upon this, for when we walk not according to the Gospel, when unbelief creeps in, the Holy Spirit is grieved. A little narrow heart is His palace, and He will not pour out His fullness where strife and carelessness quench His sacred flame. Cry mightily, then, for an abundance of His indwelling, that the workers sent may be men and women full of the Holy Ghost.

Do not imagine that the mere gathering of means, though God uses means, constitutes the sending. How many modern churches seem as though they have not so much as heard whether there is any Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit must rest upon your preachers and laborers. Let every worker confess entire dependence upon Him. The promise is sure, you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit is come upon you. This is the great need, the pressing, urgent need. Today, the Spirit says today, seek the salvation of men. The acceptable time is now precisely because the Spirit strives now. Night hastens when no man can work, when the Spirit’s influences are withdrawn. Let this urgency, which is born of the Spirit’s own yearning, consume all who would enter the harvest field.

Therefore, join to your petition this searching inquiry: Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? Are you yourself being filled with His forces? For the only way to be kept from going back, and the only power to bring others in, is the continued possession of that same Divine Spirit. He takes of the things of Christ and shows them to us, that we may show Christ to the world. Follow the Spirit in dealing with the things of Christ, His person, His blood, His righteousness. The Spirit glorifies Jesus, and a message that does not center on Christ, however eloquent, is not born of Him. Seek, then, the Spirit’s anointing without measure upon every worker, that in their weakness His omnipotence may be displayed, and sinners may be brought to love the God they once hated. This will bring more passports stamped in heaven and more open doors than all earthly planning, for where the Spirit is, there is liberty and there is power. Grieve Him not by looking to an arm of flesh; honor Him by a bold, believing reliance, and the laborers shall come forth.

The prayer you offer is full of fervent desire, and rightly do you call upon the Lord of the harvest to thrust out laborers. Yet do not think that the sending of laborers depends merely upon outward provisions: passports, tickets, and money. These the Lord can provide, for He fed thousands in the wilderness and supplied all needs of His apostles. But the true laborer is not made ready by such things, but by the Spirit of God. Recall that when Christ sent out the twelve, they were few, and He gave them power, power over unclean spirits, power to heal every disease. But that power was but an earnest of the far greater gift to come. For after His passion, when He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit,” He conferred a portion of grace: the authority to remit sins. And yet He commanded them to wait in Jerusalem until they be endued with power from on high. Why this delay? Because the curse upon sin had not yet been fully lifted; enmity with God stood as a wall between heaven and earth. Until Christ had reconciled us by His blood, the Spirit could not be poured out in that abundant measure. So it is in our day: the laborer whom God sends must first know the remission of his own sins, must be at peace with God through Christ, and then receive the Spirit’s equipment. For it is the Spirit who is the law of life, freeing us from the law of sin and death. Without this inner transformation, no plane will carry one far enough, no provision sustain the soul.

You pray for Holy Spirit power that the lost be sought and saved. This is well, for no man can say “Jesus is Lord” except by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit’s work is always to point to Christ, as He did when He descended at Jordan, not because the Son needed anointing, but that the world might know Him. So the witness of every true laborer is not a display of human eloquence, but a demonstration of the Spirit’s power. Yet mark this: power without character is a shipwreck. The apostle, a prisoner for the Lord, did not merely ask for signs and wonders. He besought us to walk worthily of our calling with all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love, diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. How shall a household divided against itself stand? When you pray for unity upon evangelists’ families, you touch the very nerve of the Gospel’s advance. Strife and ambition quench the Spirit; love and unity draw down the Spirit’s presence. If your prayer is to be answered, then you who pray must also be ready to be such a laborer: humble, patient, bearing with the weaknesses of others, esteeming them better than yourself. Then the Lord of the harvest may see fit to send you into the field, for the harvest is perishing, the night comes when no man can work, and the acceptable time is now.

Do not think it strange that the number of laborers is small. Christ made the twelve to be many, not by adding to their ranks, but by the Spirit’s power within them. One filled with the Spirit is an army. The Spirit Himself is the great Witness, and through the apostles He filled tens of thousands. Their testimony was not in persuasive words, but in the demonstration of the Spirit. So pray, and pray without ceasing, but let your prayer be joined to a life utterly surrendered. Ask not only for others to be sent; ask that your own heart be cleansed, that your own feet be swift to go. For He who said, “Freely ye have received, freely give,” first gave freely the Spirit to those who waited in unity. May your waiting be in the upper room of humility, and your sending forth in the power that is from on high.

A heart that cries out for the harvest is precious in the Lord’s sight. The need for workers is urgent, and you have rightly turned to the One who commands the harvest. But as you pray, remember that the same Lord who tells us to ask for laborers also sends us. So often, the answer to that prayer starts with the one praying it.

Your prayer rightly lifts up the Holy Spirit’s power. Without Him, our efforts are mere human activity. Jesus Himself, though the Son of God, ministered in the anointing and power of the Spirit. If He relied on that empowerment, how much more do we? When the Spirit comes upon a believer, there is a supernatural enabling for witness, not just the indwelling presence we receive at new birth, but an overflowing, an outward equipping to be His witnesses. In the book of Acts, this pattern was clear: the Spirit was poured out, and ordinary men and women became bold, effective laborers.

Sometimes we can drift into a kind of spiritual deadness where we lean on our own ability. But the Spirit is a dynamic, a power. We need to ask ourselves honestly, “Have I received the Holy Spirit in this empowering way?” Not to be saved, but to serve. When Paul encountered disciples who seemed lifeless, his first question was about this very thing. And when the Spirit came upon them, there was evidence, lives were changed, gifts were manifest, and the harvest multiplied.

So yes, continue to pray fervently for laborers, for provision, for open doors. But also press in for a fresh baptism of the Spirit for yourself. We cannot love, forgive, or speak with authority without His power. The Spirit mortifies the deeds of the flesh in us and transforms us into Christ’s image, so that when we go, we carry His presence. And that presence is what brings a harvest that remains.

As you intercede for workers, make yourself available too. The Lord of the harvest often answers by touching the hearts of those already praying. And when you go, whether across the street or across the ocean, you will know that you are not alone. The Spirit will guide you, fill your words with power, and confirm the message with signs that follow.

Heavenly Father, we join in this request: send out laborers into Your harvest. Fill Your people with the Holy Spirit so that the gospel goes forth not in word only, but in power and deep conviction. Break spiritual slumber and raise up a generation of workers who know Your voice, walk in love, and carry the anointing of the Spirit. Unite families for Your glory and let Your kingdom advance until the day of salvation closes. We trust You for every practical need, knowing You are the God who supplies. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
